We were very pleased to have a triple room in such a convenient location. We had a lady with slight walking difficulties and this hotel was not only helpful and easy for her but it`s location meant we were central and on the bus routes to everywhere

Only one member of staff was helpful, TV never worked, bathroom door didn`t lock and the beds were of metal construction, the kind you would find in a children`s bedroom.Continental breakfast was included in the price which was of poor standard, where paying guests received better quality products ie Bread etc

Just returned from a few days in Dublin at this hotel - rooms and beds very clean but furniure very dated and it all could do with a lick of paint to brighten it up. TV in rooms are ANALOGUE so only one channel available - TnaG4 and could not understand language. This would be a fantastic place to stay if some changes were made. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the hotel is in an excellent location with access to everything. Pity it is so dated.

The desk staff were obliging and quick to fix a few minor problems within the room itself when we arrived. The hotel was perfectly sited for place we wanted to walk to and visit at length in Parnell Square

My single room was large (two beds), clean and adequately heated. Whilst the furnishing needs upgrading it was perfect for my needs. The Hotel is very near Connolly Station and LUas. The receptionists were very pleasant too.

Would have liked to know that the soap dispencers were topped up reguarly. Twice ran out! Shower drain had old hairs. Toilet not properly cleaned what flush did not remove.

We found Lynams Staff very accommodating .Lynams is a quaint little hotel in O Connell Street. Shopping and theratre so near. The room was spotless and quiet ( loading and emptying bins kept minimum and at logical hours of morning /night . Food in Carlos s restaurant very tasty and served with a smile. Our luggage was looked after on arrival until room was ready and on embarking til eve.. Thank you again.

My son and I stayed here for two nights in September 2014. It is a budget hotel in a city centre location and should be judged on those grounds. It is an old building with character, which we liked, but could do with a bit of brightening up. Our twin bedded room on the third floor was perfectly comfortable and we had a good view out over O`Connell St below. The breakfast (in cafe next door) was good but could have done with a bit more choice and/or flexibility - and the staff there were definitely more welcoming on the second day than the first. Overall, good value for money.

Lynams is right in the centre of Dublin on O`Connell Street, so excellent location. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the full Irish breakfast is tremendously good. Lynams is what it is a budget hotel offering value for money without any frills.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lynams. It was in a good location and easy to find. The room was clean and had a t.v and plenty of tea and coffee etc. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. I would stay there again as the rates were very reasonable

Although we only stayed one night it was a lovely clean and comfortable hotel. My friend and I had to fly a night earlier than expected and were very lucky to get a hotel. We were stay another 6 nights in one of Dublins top hotels but we would have been quite happy to have stayed at Lynams. In fact the beds were more comfortable than the hotel e stayed in!!!! Very nice gentleman on reception who was a great help... Well worth a visit.

Good water pressure in the shower and overall very good value for money. Breakfast excellent.

My second stay at this hotel and its perfect value for money, great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. You wont get better value for money in Dublin city centre

Couldn`t ask for a better location. Right bang beside the spire. My friend and I got a fab deal and wouldn`t complain for the price we paid. You only sleep there! It was our second stay and many more will hopefully happen

Great location, helpful welcome desk and discount at the very tasty restaurant next door. Very clean room and en-suite and ideal for the price. Only problem was the thin walls meaning those next door kept us up but apart from that, great little hotel.

A lovely room looking out over O Connell St. Very convenient to O Connell St and a comfortable room.A little noisy at times being in the heart of the CBD but the pros outweigh the cons

We had booked this a month before the stay, we chose this place due to the location but there were cheaper, more luxurious hotels. Basic rooms, comfy beds though. If it was cheaper I would stay again.

Generally a nice hotel and value for money but I think heating should be there all the time.

Clean, warm, lots of hot water. A bit shabby and the matress not v good. Great location. Fine for the money.

On the first night I noticed some bites and spent the second night at my Uncles. I had to stay for my third night and had even more bites. I told the cleaner on the first morning and on leaving spoke to the manager. he apologised and said they had had it sorted before. He said they would get you to refunfd all of my money. I am back in England and have had to throw away my coat and boots. About £200 worth. I ahve washed all my clothes but still had fresh bites this am where they must have been in my hair. This has ruined my stay. Room 27 had no phone and I was moved to 32 which had the loud noise of the air conditioner. I asked to move back to 27. I have had to get Piriton from the chemist and cancel a hospital appointment for tomorrow as I cant have any other medicines for the tests I am due. All a mess.

Only stayed one night whilst going to a concert at the o2 but was good position for all buses, taxis the tram and a range of shops and restaurants. Own restaurant was good. Rooms a little tired but clean and warm. An excellent value night at £33 for twin room (room only)!

I thought it was good, the staff were very nice and polite and provided assistance whenever required and information on the area. I`d like to stay again as a good location and value for money. Good restaurant attached to the hotel but a member of my family had some problems in their room which we had not come across before and puzzled us that something like this should show up in the hotel and we were slightly worried. But I think I would stay again.

Good location and excellent price, rooms and facilities as expected for a 3 star Hotel but the price @ £58 for a twin room was excellent given that it was All Ireland Final weekend.

Great location and value for money

Great wee hotel set right in the middle of dublin city center. Very accommodating reception staff. room very clean and enough pace in the twin room for 2. shower hot and clean. I would return to this hotel again with no problems
