The ladies on the front desk were so very helpful and the lady who was doing breakfast every morning and the lady behind the bar looked after us very well. They deserve a lot of credit - they work very hard! Please send them a HUGE thank you for us...we would come back again just for the service from them!

Stayed overnight with a family of four. Located in retail park but perfect for our needs. Easy to get to city centre by hotel transport or local bus service (20 mins). Very friendly staff. Food in restaurant slightly expensive but bar menu available at good price. No swimming pool but very good spa and gym. would use it again if we return to Barcelona.

The hotel is noisy with very little sound proofing having being carried out. The food is overpriced and the staff surly.Also no English speaking channels on the Televeision.

This was a good airport hotel

Hotel is conveniently situated half way between the airport and the city. It is of a very good standard, rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Did not make use of the spa, but the coffee shop had a nice terrace which was nice to sit out on. Throughly recommended.

The Hotel is great and near the airport but it is a distance from the city however there is a bus stop at the back of the hotel and the L72 runs every 20 mins,great will stop again

Congratulations to Front Air Congress on catering for my Gluten free requirements, even down to providing gluten free bread. The staff and facilities were excellent and closeness to Barcelona Airport an added bonus. The closeness of a shopping centre next door was also a plus. Would definitely stay there again. Well done Front Air Congress and Hotel Direct for your service.

We couldn`t have asked for a better hotel for our first holiday together. The staff were amazing, the hotel was gorgeous, and the spa was amazing!! To get into the main town we only had to walk round to back of the hotel and catch a bus to espana then the metro, so easy. Really cant fault the hotel or staff in any way. We only had one meal in the hotel and really wished we`d eaten there more. We both highly recommend this hotel and cant wait to stay again. Thanks to all the staff.

20 kil from central barcelona but only 1euro40 on the local bus every 20 min, supermarket next door and a large retail park if you want anything else

As this hotel is a little way out of central Barcelona the shuttle bus is an excellent addition to the clean rooms, excellent spa services, and extremely helpful staff. My friends and myself booked this hotel on the internet and was extremely pleased with the facilities and would book again. The price was fair and excellent value for money.

Although the hotel is outside Barcelona we used the courtesy bus into Espana where all area,s are easily accessed, Avoid eating and drinking in La Ramblas we were charged 50 euro,s for 3 tapas with 2 beers and a coke.

Short stay only, room was clean and tidy overall everyone was friendly. Free to and from airport shuttle bus service was a bonus.

There were no Tea/Coffee making facilities available in the room.Two mornings out of four we had no hot water for shower.Double room is two single beds pushed together with individual bedding which made making a double bed very diffulcult.Restaurant did not open until 8.30 pm in the evening.Overall we were very dissapointed with our stay.

Bar staff took drinks order and payment, then forgot to bring drinks over, had to return to bar to request drinks.Ordered food for snack menu, pizza was hard and only luck warm, pasta again was only luck warm. Burger was pink.

Great value for a "luxury" facility. Free 24 hour shuttle service to the airport is a plus. Hotel is somewhat difficult to locate however.

No information on how to get shuttle bus. Airport did not know. Phoned hotel and got what sounded to be a spanish answer phone. Plane arrived at 11.30pm so had to get taxi which cost 25 euros. This made hotel very expensive. Hotel very impersonal and very hot, airconditioning did not appear to work.

Very clean hotel, the staff are very helpful and give you good advice on how to get into the City etc. Note the use of the spa and the pool are extra. Only complaint is do not book the breakfast option as it is not value for money and a very poor choice of food for the price. Location great for an out of the City Hotel as there is a shopping mall next door and some fast food restraunts nearby. Try the WOK for a great value meal.

Nice clean room with all expected facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was a great disappointment though. The food was well below the expected quality of a four-star hotel. The staff did not speak sufficient English to understand what was wrong.

Nice hotel overall, rooms well presented however we stayed in room 362 with a lovely view of the side of the hotel. Felt like being in prison. As we were sightseeing did not realise how isolated the hotel was, there is a bus transfer into barcelona taking 15 mins but if you are planning a late night forget it! The bar is only entertainment very polite attentive staff in bar. TV has no english speaking channels not an issue if there was enough to do, more set up for the buisness man. No tea or coffeee making facilities, and the vending machine gladly mug you at 2 euros per can of soft drinks. Oh and yes I dont take kindly to the 3.50 euro charge for just 15 minutes on the internet.Finally if you like commercial parks and supermarkets then this is the place for you, otherwise as I wish I had done look elsewhere if this is a trip for pleasure.

New hotel with difficult links to Barcelona. No train station but to get in, one bus ride then jump on a metro train, In all this takes about an hour - we took the car and paid the price.Hotel very nice with good facilities, BUT: swimming pool is for over 12s only, I was annoyed as we wanted a hotel that my 4 year old could swim at and this was one of the criteria for booking, also, and more importantly, the family room we ordered had a cot with the double bed! Great except that this was for a 4 year old who has been out of a cot for over 2 years and is, in any case, too big for a cot. Happily, the double was in fact 2 doubles pushed together so we all slept in the one bed with no ill effects. Overall, new, sleek, good facilities, cheap when booked here but not the best for families.

Overall impression was ok. The staff were excellent. The facilities in the room was not as expected. There was no fridge in the room. There were no coffee and Tea making facilities in the room. No bathrobe in the bathroom. I asked for an Iron and ironing board. The ironing board was dirty and had a tear in it. The room I was given 214 had a great view of a Wall. I had to close the curtains all time as people walking down the corridor could look into my room through the window.

Contrary to previous review, taxi from Sants station to hotel was 20 euro (not 7!). Free shuttle to airport is fantastic as is the L72 that you can catch into town from behind the hotel for 1.40. Hotel very nice, plenty of cheap places to eat nearby when exhausted from touring! I would recommend if you need to be near the airport.,

We needed to change room as the smell from the bathroom was horrendous. The reception didn`t hesitate with our request though it was an inconvieniance as we had unpacked. The slot that you put your room card in was hanging off the wall therefore not enabling us to have power in our room another reason to change. We felt disappointed for a 4 star hotel. We have often stayed at the Fira Congress and fancied a change next time we are going back there.

This hotel is set in a really quiet location with macdoalds opposite it, its in a place called sant boi, and if you come from sant estacio you can use the metro from sant estacio to espanya, use green L3 line, then change at espanya and get the L8 train to sant boi, a taxi from the station to the hotel is about 7 euros, a single journey on the tube is 1,40 euros, the hotel is great fresh and clean with nice food, and add a gym and saunas and heat pool to this you can a really relaxing break away from the stress that is England, there are also treatment packs available with massages and therapies, thanks for the great stay i had!!

you have a good standard hotel- clean and well run. However, I found some of the reception staff very unhelpful when I asked for some simple advice regarding using public transport in order to travel to the centre of Barcelona.A French receptionist in particular was most unhelpful and seemed to try to avoid ansering any questions. This is not a good thing for your hotel.Ity is not very welcoming.However, apart from this, I was happy with everythin else.Neil Kennedy
