Highly recommend this hotel. Lovely staff. Food is great and good value. Room we had was lovely clean and comfortable.
Room 514 was excellent. Will go again. Could fault nothing at all.
In a perfect location for train and tube. Hotel is the best we have stayed in. Out room was very quiet.
The hotel presents itself really well and the staff is very nice. Unfortunately our room had not heating and even though a technician was sent to fix the problem ,it was not. We did get a heater but was too small to really make any difference in the temperature of the room. The tv was also unwatchable and even though we did go to London to spend most of the time visiting it ,it would have been nice to have a properly functioning television for when we were in the room. The location was excellent for what we wanted to do. Would stay there again. Perhaps we will go when it`s neither too cold or too warm.
The Grosvenor was stunning ! Very grand and our family executive room was lovely spacious and luxury. Really pleased with the location, the hotel was literally round the corner from tube station and the theatre was straight facing the tube station, not much walking at all. Plenty places to eat and Buckingham Palace was a 5 minute walk away. Very impressed with the package deal, will certainly be booking again this way.
Lovely welcoming staff, gorgeous room, they left cakes wishing my sister a happy birthday, which was a lovely surprise for us both. Highly recommended
Service excellent staff polite and friendly. Rooms clean but looking tired and tatty in places. TV didn`t work properly- picture very grainy. Although they promptly tried to fix it I understand they are upgrading the system and there are transitional problems
Great hotel. Great location. Nice & clean. Very quiet and got a goods night sleep.
Lovely hotel great location
Room small. Bed comfy, could have more pillows. Shower could be more powerful. Good service from the staff; I had a faulty iron and they promptly replaced inside 15 minutes.
Lovely hotel with helpful and pleasant staff, but the plumbing! In a Victorian building macerators are necessary and need to work all the time, sadly ours didn`t and spoilt our stay.
Lovely Victorian hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will visit again.
Hotel was overall good although there were some small things that could have been better. These did not spoil overall experience. Hotel is well situated for Theatre, restaurants, Victoria Station and shops.
We booked a table for 2 in the English restaurant as a pre theatre meal, when we arrived we were given a table in the middle of the bar, not even pre set, not what one would expect from a 4* hotel. we walked out and therefore missed out on a meal which actually spoilt our break. Breakfast wasn`t much better, given a table which someone already occupied, then moved , waited for tea for 10 Mins and had to ask, breakfast was cold, wouldn`t use again, felt the food service let the hotel down ,
Beautiful hotel with exceptional service however only let down was the outside noise that kept me awake at 5am
Room was outstanding. Room service excellent. 5star
Beautiful building with superb decor. Has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The room was excellent and all staff friendly and helpful. Only 2 faults.. 1.Prices in the bar are quite high, but I guess you must expect that in London. 2.Breakfast service could have been better.Looked like to many customers and not enough staff. Kitchen appeared unable to cope with demand.Consequently customers waited for food at the buffet and a lot of it was only luke warm.
The hotel was perfect for us - the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much effort for them. The location was perfect within easy reach of the tube and bus routes making it really easy to get around.
Conveniently placed, but the rooms were too hot even with the thermostat turned down. Toilet didn`t flush properly and the WiFi was terrible. The booking of breakfast wasn`t explained to us properly, so make sure you pre-book so y our don`t pay full price. It was very quickly sorted out for us though.
Well worth a stay. Comfortable and ideally located in Victoria and the underground.
Brilliant hotel/staff, would highly recommend this hotel
Great hotel. Superb location. The staff were excellent and gave us an upgrade. Highly recommended.
Amazing. A lovely experience made better by all staff who were very helpful and friendly. Birthday bundle, cake etc, was lovely and well worth the money. My only criticism is that though I booked for 3 adults, the third bed was not made up on arrival but it was rectified quickly.
This hotel is lovely staff are very friendly and helpful wouldn`t hesitate in staying here again or recommending others
This hotel is ideally situated in Victoria, with an entrance I inside the station. Easy to get around from here, there are good shops nearby and the hotel is really lovely.
The hotel was brilliant from the moment we walked in we was made to feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed here as it was our sons birthday, we had rang the day before we arrived to see if they would put some balloons in the room as a nice jester and they did just that and even wrote a lovely card from everyone at the hotel and some delicious cakes as well. I could not fault this hotel from the staff to the food and drink, the only thing is we did not stay longer enough.11088;65039;11088;65039;11088;65039;11088;65039;11088;65039;
Hotel is beautiful nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Chinese food is a must to have if you like Chinese food. Beds very comfy and the room very clean. Would recommend to stay here we will deffinatly be booking again.
The hotel was situated so conveniently for Victoria Underground which meant everywhere was accessible. It was my daughters 18th birthday & they surprised her with a special array of deserts delivered to our restaurant I`m. We also had access to the executive lounge which was a lovely touch.
I have to say I have stayed in many hotels in London and even though most hotel staff are very good and helpful every single member of staff we spoke to at the grosvnor were so helpful and pleasant it really did make a difference Thank you
Bathroom shower head was not functioning properly and sent water over shower screen, thus flooding bathroom that I had to clean at 06.00 am avoiding a accident on which my sleeping wife needed to avoid as was unaware. Also felt ushered towards being advised by reception in taking a tower room, over a normal room let`s say very compact . Glad it was for only one night .
Bed very comfortable, all the usual amenities but very compact. You have to be a bit of a contortionist to get in the bathroom and close the door without banging your knees on the toilet, similarly you have to negotiate the furniture to get into bed. Nevertheless you can`t fault the location - a few minutes walk to station and theatre.
Arrived early, hoping for and early check in. However was not lucky enough however they stored our bags so we could explore London with out hinderance. When they discovered it was our anniversary, they sent us a free bottle of wine with complements of the hotel. Not a bad word to say about them. Room was amazing. Spacious, exteremely comfortable bed and lovely en suite bathroom
The Grosvenor Hotel in Victoria warmly welcomed us. Easy check-in and out. Room very spacious and clean. Breakfast plentiful with lots of choice. A great experience. Will stay again when in London.
