This was a brillant location, within easy walking distance for everything. Hotel is very clean and the patio area is very pleasant. Staff were very helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast was good. Will definitely be staying here again. The only downfall is the noise at the front of hotel but other than that the overall stay was very pleasant!

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at hotel. Very central location, ideal for exploring Dublin. Able to walk eveywhere. Hotel room was very clean and as expected. Breakfast was excellent. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Only slight drawback was the noise at night. Our room overlooked the street and it was noisy mainly as it was a Saturday night. Guests arriving late at night are less than considerate by banging their room doors. Also street cleaner started at 6.30am Sunday and Monday, which was again noisy. Apart from that, a good hotel.

We stayed for one night when we were attending the celine Dion concert at Croke Park 30/05/08. The hotel location was excellent for us being within an easy stroll to O`Connell Street and all the public transport links which made returning to the airport an effortless stressfree experience. The hotel room was quite compact but was very clean and had everything we would have expected including tea making facilities and a spotless pleasant bathroom with a lovely roomy shower. The hotel staff couldn`t do enough for you. The reception staff were cheery , friendly and polite and the breakfast room also had very attentive staff. The standard of the food was high. I would definately stay here again as it was good value for money.

"A couple of days in Dublin for my fella`s 30th, party of 8, MAY08"

GOOD BITS Rooms were clean & adequate, nice outdoor garden area BAD BITS don`t have a room on the front next to the street if you want sleep, room 208 window broken so couldn`t shut it, even in the week very noisey with drunks, road cleaners, delivery vans etc, moved to back of hotel room 220 & room smaller but adequate and quiet!! Breakfast OK but overpriced, & not got half the things on menu. Would go out for breakfast. Staff OK but not locals and had limited english when not talking about the basics. DUBLIN is very expensive 5.25euro for a pint of guinness! Be prepared to spend!

"Central location, ideally situated for easy reach of all of Dublins shops, pubs and sights! "

This is an above average budget hotel situated in the busy Talbot Street, polite and friendly staff and adequate facilities for an enjoyable short break. Our room faced onto Talbot street which had a large window to enable us to soak up the atmosphere of the city, although this could be noisy at times and the hotel does not benefit from air conditioning in the rooms. We would consider returning to this venue when we come back to Dublin in the near future!

"Excellent location for tours of Dublin, very central."

Very clean room and bathroom, lovely shower with very hot water. Breakfast good. Staff very pleasant and helpful, however the room was a little smaller than I had imagined and the hair dryer supplied in the room has a 2 pin plug, which meant I was unable to use it! We also had problems with the safe, which we were unable to open having tested it, fortunately we hadn`t put anything in before testing the code we had agreed on.

"Room"

Stayed in what they called a double room. If you had a suitcase you would have to leave it outside otherwise you would be climbing over it to move in the room. No hooks to hang coats. Room very hot.

"Totally satisfied. Very central location."

Room 218 was on the top floor at the back so a rubbish view but very quiet. A room at the front may have been a different matter. The king sized bed gave a comfortable sleep and the room had everything we needed. They will supply complimentary extras such as toothbrush/paste, comb, deodorant, shaving kit upon request. Free newspapers, very helpful staff. Others have said the rooms are a bit small but. hey, you are right in the centre of the city only 2 minutes from the new Spire in O`Connell Street. The Polish room maid refused my tip, "It`s my job"! Breakfast is VERY substantial. I would definitely stay there again if I could have the same room.

"Days Inn - Dublin"

Third time we have stayed here when visiting Dublin,Although a room at back of hotel would have been preferred because of street noise below. (Maybe next time !)Breakfast was more than enough to set you up for the day.Staff were very helpful. Ideal base to explore the city.

"Good clean hotel with good service."

Nice budget hotel in a convenient location. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Only issue was the noise. We were facing the street and it was very noisy at night with people walking past singiing and shouting. Also, there was a bit of an issue when one member of the reception team agreed a late check out with us and didn`t tell anyone.

"unfortunatly our stay was spoilt by noise."

excellent location, good breakfast, friendly staff. Unfortunatley our stay was spoilt by noise,1) other guests slamming doors in the early hours of the morning,2) a boiler(or something else)immediatly above our room(309) constantly running all night.

"Good clean central friendly hotel, great value for money and close to all amenities, love Dublin"

This is a great hotel if you want a good clean basic friendly little hotel if you want to be in a central location to explore Dublin at a budget price. The rooms are small but clean and compact and had our towels changed daily (stayed 3 nights). The breakfast was nice and the staff helpful, polite and friendly. Very close to the legend that is TEMPLE BAR, it is paradise for pubgoers, didn`t find the hotel particularly noisy for a city centre in the party capital of the world. Would recommend it to all, if you want luxury and to spend all day and night in the hotel then its not the place for you but it is for sure a fab place for a little break it a great city for a bit of a party within short walking distance of all amenities. Wish I could have stayed longer. xx
