Third visit, and wouldn`t stay anywhere else in theatre land. Have tried many other "theatre weekend hotels" and this by far outweighs the others. Location, service, room facilities ? can`t be beaten.
Hotel is very well situated for visiting all the main attractions. It is a hop, step and a jump from Tottenham Court Road metro station. There was plenty of variety for breakfast, cooked, continental and cereals were plentiful. Although fresh fruit was limited, it was also available.
The hotel was great , nice & friendly staff , room was lovely and clean. The choice of bars and food was really good. The only thing I would of appreciated is an actual tea spoon to make my crew in the room
Room, though small, was clean & comfortable. Staff helpful & friendly. It was very busy so it was pandemonium in public areas at times & breakfast involved queuing for around 5 minutes.
Excellent
Perfect for a night stay
The room isn`t that big but big enough because when you`re in London you don`t spend much time in the hotel room. The service was great!
Very small twin room and bathroom. The room was hot and stuffy, but with the window open the noise from outside made it impossible to sleep. Very small bathroom towels. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing more.
The lifts didn`t seem to be working. We got fed up of the very long wait and used the stairs instead, but not everyone can do that. On Thursday evening, quite late, we were at the hotel bar and there was a drunk girl knocking over stools and being generally loud and obnoxious. After a while we realised that she was an employee as she walked behind the bar and was talking to the bar staff. We thought her behaviour was inappropriate.
Friendly staff and lovely room. Close to theatre
Have stayed at this hotel many times before, brilliant location, downside the room we stayed in needs a refurbishment, spotlessly clean, had problems getting to sleep due to roadwork`s during the night. Despite that would stay at st Giles again.good breakfast.
Always try to stay here, very conveniant for shops, theatres covent garden, love this hotel, staff lovely, helpful too Breakfast good. Rooms may be a bit small but what do you expect for the price? very clean, can`t say enought about St. Giles excellant stay.
Had a issue with noise in our room ( found out it was the. Radiator, water hammer) they offered to move us when I complained at 2am but I couldn`t be bothered but said I`d move following morning, when I went to reception following morning there was no record of it been logged ( I`m sure receptionist thought I was lying) but she did find us a room there and then, our new room was good apart from the big air conditioning unit out side but we were that tired from lack of sleep we eventually had a good night sleep .
The hotel was easy to find and located in a very accessible area. Check in was quick and easy even though it was busy when we arrived. The room was good for what we needed as it was only somewhere to sleep. Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty to choose from and I would definitely stay here again. Just a couple of things that could have been better was the lifts, there are lots of them but you have to wait a really long time for one to come, the towels were all very small and the blind in the window wouldn`t close.
Comfortable stay, very pleasant and courteous staff. Hotel itself is looking a little tired.
Great breakfast
Friendly staff, tasty breakfast . Rooms were small. Bed covers kept coming off. Asked for modern room but felt they were abit run down . Very good location though.
a 3 star hotel which is about right-
great night stay, very comfortable, breakfast first class, staff very pleasant and helpful,
Hotel was clean and comfy, rooms are small with poor lighting, breakfast was good and staff were nice
Everything at hotel very easy check in and check out very good didn`t have to queue breakfast good have used hotel twice would not hesitate to use again thankyou
this was booked as part of a rail deal for a friend and myself to visit London, i would like to thank the staff at the hotel for making it a trip to remember, they could not have been nicer, the food was superb, the rooms were spotless, the hotel is a pleasure to stay at, i am looking forward to a return visit very soon, thanks again for a great stay.
Staff sullen (Melissa). Room small and cramped. I believe theatre break guests get the rubbish rooms. Won`t stay here again
Very friendly and helpful , will be booking again , thank you
Our room was clean a bit small but the staff attentively looked after you from entering and leaving
Hotel located centrally which was ideal. Small room adequate for an overnight stay. Service in Sage and chilli restaurant excellent. The staff went out of their way to cater for my dietary needs.
Reasonable sized room and bathroom. Duvet on the bed was much too heavy and hot - had to take it off the bed during the night and put a blanket on instead. Very busy at breakfast, but it`s well organised and there was a good choice of food and drink
Great hotel. 3rd time of staying there now and always enjoy
Not only is it close to shops in Oxford street but is also close to Covent Garden and within walking distance of a great deal of theatres plus there are lots of eating places
Lobby was stunning, rooms didn`t match up. We had a generator outside the window that hummed extremely loudly day and night, you couldn`t hear London which is good but all we could hear was the noise from the generator. Staff friendly food was great
Clean tidy, good house keeping, more than sufficient for breakfast and all restaurants used and all of a good quality. Needs a lick of tlc in places but overall good.
Enjoyed a comfortable 2 night stay. Staff courteous and well organised. A bit noisy at times. Lifts could not cope with the number of guests. Always a queue. Had to use stairs on occasion. Not ideal as on floor 7. Very good apart from this. Would use the hotel again.
