Nice understated service in a very decent hotel
Whilst we found the hotel rooms were nicely decorated/clean and the service from hotel staff was first class, what we felt spoilt our stay was the arrogant attitude and poor service supplied by the `supervising barman` in the Latino bar. We now understand that whilst there is a close association with the hotel, this bar is not part of the hotel and we feel the 12.5% service charge is unjustified for the poor service supplied.
very welcoming staff. I got an upgrade because there was no twin room available. My nephew thought this was great as it was his first time in London. Would have been even nicer had we had a room with a view. Instead we got the railway track. The room was lovely and the staff appeared very soon to make up the sofa bed. Breakfast was wonderful and set you up for the day ahead.
fantastic view best in london. food excellent. can,t find fault with this hotel, stop here every year.
I was very impressed with the quality of the Hotel and the breakfast in particular. We stayed in an executive room on the 10th floor, excellent view of the Thames, clean, spacious room and excellent modern bathroom. Overall no complaints at all and what I would expect from a 4 Star hotel, certainly worth the money
Staff very polite and attentive without being in your face. Hotel would benefit from providing a quite communial lounge area just to relax and chill and read papers/books or whatever.
clean, quiet and comfortable. nice position close to the parliment and the eye. overpriced but so are all decent hotels in London
The hotel was excellent value and we enjoyed our stay and it was very central to the sight seeing that we had planned. Will use your website again as it was easy to book and excellent value overall for the hotel and theatre.
friendly starf, excellant service, and the food was great.the rooms wear very spacious clean and well equipt.we had a great time and look forward to our next stay at your hotel
We really enjoyed our stay in your hotel and thought it was excellent value for money. The houskeeping was good and the breakfast was delicious
Hotel was excellent, clean and spacious but the main selling point was how firendly and helpful the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. Only down side was the price in the bar, £16 for 3 cups of tea seemed a little on the high side even for London!
Could be picky about minor details but not worth mentioning, but very surprised that there were no protectors on the mattress or pillows. Room service menu was shabby and would have been more presentable in an hotel information folder which could contain places of interest and tours.
Everything about this hotel is quality. The service from arrival, the rooms and the food was absolutely excellent. I would very much recommend staying in a room with a view over the river, the hotel is situated on the south side and the view across to the Houses of Parlaiment and down to the London Eye are fantastic. Well worth paying the extra.
Excellent service, extremly friendly and helpful staff. First time i have stayed in a hotel that was sensative to my religious requirements.Thank you.
The only negative comment I could think of was therew was an extractor fan nearby that did`nt go off for several houres in the night
Hotel reception was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.
My wife and our friends Satyed at the Plaza Riverbank and loved it their. Staff were fantastic and the atmosphere in the hotel was warm and welcoming. Will definately be coming back soon.
The room, service, staff and breakfast at the hotel were all first class. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
we did not get our newspapers or given a choice of pillows. in fact we only had 3pillows in the room. would not stay there again
stayed here for 2 nights during 1st week in May. From Ebi checking us in, to our departure we really enjoyed it. Bed was big and comfortable and the room excellent. Slight problem with the TV sound but we spent most of the time out so that didn`t matter to us. Would definitely go back.
we have found this hotel excellent in allways we have used this hotel for the last 5 year and always on our annerversary and have had no promblems with this hotel and will continue to use it well recommended
We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We will stay again next time we visit London.
Lovely Hotel with romantic views down the Thames. Staff were very helpfuul and polite. It was a bit far from the tube. We had to find the restaurant for ourselves and weren`t told what times. The hotel were not as good as others that did a little bit extra as we were on our honeymoon.
Stayed for one night only. Room itself was nice - if a little on the warm side. Aircon didn`t seem to work and window would not open. Location good, close to several bridges across river. Liked the chino bar very much, very chic and superb cocktails. Staff at hotel were very professional and made everything seem easy. Would definitely stay here again.
The staff at the hotel are lovely, the rooms are quite plush considering the price we paid, the only drawback was a really smelly drain in the bathroom in 1 out of the 3 rooms we booked. If you manage to get a room with a view, they are amazing. The hotel is in a great position for all the major attractions in London with just a 15 min walk along the Thames riverbank opposite the houses of Parliament, down to the London Eye. Brekkie was pretty good too!
The icing on the cake would have been a more central location as it is a dull walk to the tube and not many local restaurants.
enjoyed our stay could of done with a room with a view, but that is extra
We had a fantastic time at your hotel! Wish we could stay for longer. Everything was perfect for our visit to London.
English breakfast was cold and over cooked, wspecially the eggsand bacon. The room was not as clean as expected from a five star and the toilet lid was broken. On the other hand, the staff were friendly and pleasant, especially Abraham the evening door man.
Drinks hugely expensive £34 for a round of four drinks! Weekend of riots so situated a little outside problem areas. The disadvantage was that taxi fares from town added substantially to the cost of the weekend.
Surprised we had to queue for breakfast and that there were no curtains in the bedroom windows, only nets. Would let too much sunlight in during the summer and not obscure the bad weather in winter. Staff were excellent.
The bar prices were way too expensive thus we drank outside of the hotel. In my opinion you would make more profit if you reduced the prices
LOvley hotel, very spacious, only 2 tube stop from the theatre, great location for Wicked, would stay again
Comfortable rooms, pleasant surroundings, helpful and courteous staff; particularly the concierge.
First time that we have stayed in a Park Plaza Hotel, we stayed in the Lambeth London branch it was a most enjoyable experience. The room was well presented, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly stay in a Park Plaza Hotel again.
