Little hassle, since I booked thru hotelsdirect.com and we couldn`t get twin room (travelling with my 21-yo son...),but Gary of reception could arrange twin room after first night, also trouble with door lock couple of times, but that`s nobody`s fault technical failures happen. You have great staff, who`s working very hard to make your clients feel comfortable.
Enjoyed hotel stay. Very convenient location. Hotel clean and comfortable despite small bathroom. Just what was required.
We would stay here again as if gives a great base for a London break.
Fantastic stay at the hotel, very clean and tidy, staff were great, and brilliant location, will definitely be going back,GREAT.
Very good.
No opening windows further from theatre than it says on the website.clean hotel friendly staff .
Very helpful staff room was clean breakfast was lovely.
The room was pleasant and light and had all amenities including free wifi. The staff was helpful.
Enjoyed out stay.Just a small issue but prefer a lot of tea at breakfast and a poorly designed toaster causing the smell of burnt toast throughout the restaurant.
Good hotel in excellent position good service and nice rooms
Efficient check in staff, rooms a little small, but you really only sleep in it anyway. Overall great stay.
Standard, basic room. Clean but in need of a few adaptations i.e vent or air con in bathroom as when using bath/shower the bathroom becomes so hot you have to open the door to allow steam out and air in. No toilet brush to clean loo after use. Flush hidden under towel rail where towels are hung, not hygienic as you have to lift the towels to flush.
Great hotel, fantastic service, location and a great value deal.xx
Had the option to upgrade to an Executive room but would not recommend as don`t get much extra for the money. Breakfast excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again.
Nice hotel in a nice location. Within walking distance of British museum. Loads of places to eat and drink in very short distance. Right next to Russell Square tube station so transport links amazing too.
Hotel and room were far too hot, air conditioning was set to the minimum but still like a sweat box which caused us to wake up every hour through the night. Staff were rude and bar service was poor.
Hotel in a good location for the westend shows.
Clean and tidy .staff very helpful made a great weekend for us
Lovely modern hotel, good size room and very friendly staff
Lovely and clean, stuff very friendly.
Clean, quiet room, very friendly staff. Didn`t have breakfast so can`t comment on that, but would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Extremely dissatisfied and inconvenienced after planning our day only to find we had to wait forty minutes for our room, this in turn altered our plans with friends and because we were then in a rush we didn`t book breakfast when signing into the hotel, although they did have the courtesy to charge us £ 33.90 for two breakfasts in the morning.
Great location, brilliantly helpful staff. Can`t fault it.
The room was on the small side - normal for London except at luxury prices - but modern, well-fitted and clean. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful, and the breakfast room staff worked their socks off at busy times.
Good hotel & location pleasant staff Concierge went the extra mile to check us in early good room clean very good shower breakfast good nice restaurant polite staff all food kept replenished.
Very good hotel, lovely breakfast lots of choice. Room not huge but had everything you might need. 2 mins walk from Russell Square tube
Good location and not noisy at night if anyone is used to quite. Food good service great. Suited us for our theatre break
The staff were great and very sociable and helpful, even getting a discount off our meal as we were celebrating my 50th birthday. However, the room and bathroom in particular were very small. In fact I leant over to pick something up off the floor whilst sitting on the toilet and banged my head on the sink! I wouldn`t risk having a shower as if I`d have slipped or tripped I wouldh ave knocked myself out on the sink or toilet, or fallen against the door. As I`m prone to dizzy spells if I had a turn, my husband wouldn`t have been able to get in to me! Therefore, the room took some of the pleasure away from staying there
Staff were brilliant and made a real fuss of our 7 year old girl. We had the best nights sleep to re-charge our batteries for 2 days in London. Great location close to Russell Square and perfect for central London. Great value for money and we wouldn`t hesitate to recommend or return.
It appears that Holiday Inns have made 1 room into 2 and so far too small, also fan in the bathroom did not work. On the plus side the staff were well trained and very friendly and the breakfast was not bad.
