Lovely hotel, well located, clean and very friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet.

The Kingsley is a warm and welcoming hotel. The staff are always helpful. It`s location is ideal for those visiting the West End. The breakfast is highly recommended and real value for money. The Kingsley enhances the experience of visitors to London.

Very central to where it was all happening. Staff were very courteous and attentive. Hotel room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Just what is required for a weekend break.

I cannot praise the staff at Thistle Holborn enough. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel overly welcome and were so so friendly. The hotel itself is in an ideal location for Oxford Street, all the theatres and Covent Garden. You can easily walk to everything. Can`t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be staying there again. Thank you Thistle Holborn!

Nice hotel. Good room, clean and attractive. Single glass pane windows meant street noise woke us a few times. The room was too hot, even though we turned the system down.

Nice hotel in a great location. Very easy walk to the west end for theatres, restaurants and shopping. Our room was a bit too warm but otherwise very happy.

When we got back to our room about 10.30 p.m. the room was very cold. We tried to increase the heating, but all we got from the system, was cold air. As we were tired, we did not call for an engineer, but went straight to bed. When we got up in the morning, it was exactly the same. As we went down to breakfast, every area we passed through was pleasantly warm. So it must have been a problem with our room, or perhaps the wing of the hotel in which were staying. Other than that, the hotel was very good. All staff were very proficient, and breakfast was excellent.

Found out on arrival we were double booked.Alternative hotel good but could have been warned in advance.Replacement was not in same location so did not fit with plans made.

We arrived about 3pm. The desk was unmanned and we had to wait a good 5 minutes before anyone came. When we got back at 10:30 we went to the bar to buy some bottled water to take to our room (actually you would think at this price they might leave some in the room). Again the the bar was unmanned and again we waited 5 or more minutes before we just gave up.

Room cold air conditioning did not work correctly.

When list due to poor directions it took two members of staff to guide us. NHS`s they listened more carefully it wouldn`t have been so stressful. Customer relations is poor cos even after the manager agreed the directions were shocking he offered nothing to compensate. Not a complimentary drink/ breakfast. Good manners go a long way

We love this hotel and will probably use it again if we are in this bit of London (the only thing that would stop us would be finding a hotel of similar quality for much less money - unlikely in central London). It`s an interesting building, convenient for Bloomsbury, the central shopping areas and the theatres and the rooms are comfortable and to a high standard. The staff are very nice and really helpful.

Lovely hotel, we had a deluxe twin room. Quite small room, beds comfy, air con wasn`t working correctly, so was warm at night. Good shower, warm towels, did not eat at the hotel due to the price so no real comment on staff. Expensive but guess that`s what you pay in London.

The room was quiet, no noise from other guests or from outside traffic. This was a real plus, as I normally find my sleep in hotels to be disturbed by noise from both within and outside. The bed was comfortable and long enough, as a tall person this is not always the case.

Nothing was to much trouble on requesting a fridge it was delivered within an hour room was cleaned to perfection would definitely recommend this hotel

We asked for rooms at the back to be away from the noise. We were allocated rooms on the first floor at the fron on top of the traffic lights. Hardly slept a wink.

Staff were very helpful. Small problem with confusing modern plumbing was immediately and politely dealt with--at 11:15 at night! Room excellent, comfortable and modern. Location perfect for theatre and morning getaway on the Underground. Full Breakfast buffet very welcome. Naturally pricey, but great food at the right time in the right place.

Great location. Comfy bed, good sized room with nice bathroom. Very clean hotel also. Had lovely weekend.

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room heating not very satisfactory and towel rail never worked,although Conciege visited room. Very miss leading as to whether the breakfast was included when booking a theatre break.

There was a problem with the room allocation which mean`t that we were kept waiting while they prepared a double room by moving the beds. I believe the room was an upgrade.The hotel staff were very apologetic and we we were offered a free drink as compensation.

On the whole pleased with my stay, but there was no hot water on Saturday and London grime needs hot water! When I rang housekeeping they sounded irritated that I asked politely when there would be hot water. A rather perfunctory apology was offered.

Handy for central London. Room was clean, bright and modern with spacious en-suite. Comfy bed. Couldn`t hear any street noise. A great night`s sleep. Staff very welcoming. Excellent choices at breakfast. Would stay here again.

Very welcoming, lovely communal areas and the room was very clean and comfortable. They also went the extra mile by meeting my request for rooms close to each other for us and our friends and they also recognised my husband`s birthday. They couldn`t have done more.
