I had one main problem with the room that I booked (114) staying 03 & 04 Sept 2011 which was the key for the window handle was not available - it had looked that the key locking facility of the handle was damaged & was permantly locked shut - no real ventilation / fresh air. Had reported this first thing Sunday morning but when returned late in the evening nothing had been done except a noisy fan had been placed on the dresser area I visited front desk & was offered a room change but this now 9.30pm I was tired & to move room was going to be awkward with such an early start following day - so another uncomfortable nights sleep was had !!
A little far from city centre but bus stop right outside and tram stop about five/ten minute walk. They had curtesy bus into city but not back and only 2 per day.The rooms were very nice and clean and very well priced. We bought breakfast for extra 10 euro was okay but self service. Overall quite pleased ith our stay and would probably return.
A bit of a track to the city center, but the hotel was cheap,it was very comfortable, staff friendly, and the food was excellent
stayed for two nights when over for the dublin cup, jeff on the desk saturday night and sunday morning was a star, place was a bit out of the way, but once out and on the bus to dublin, it was easy to get back, hotel puts on a shuttle but it starts at 11am, just walk down road and get a local bus, if you dont mind hanging about, or your not in a hurry, this is the place for you, have recommended to friends who are heading to dublin, the staff are very friendly even when overstreached
Good value for money, near to DART. Clean, comfortable room
Good standard of accommodation, clean, staff ok
Great hotel - fantastic professional friendly staff. spotless rooms. cosy beds. with free coffee/tea/ TV/dvd and free internet access. Bus to Dublin city centre right outside. All for the cheapest price in Dublin. we stayed the weekend and will book in again
We were a group of 6 and we enjoyed aour stay at Aspect after we eventually found our way there. It is probably a good idea to take a taxi as our group were driving asround for half an hour before asking a taxi driver who sent us in the right direction. It is probably no fault of the hotel but rather of the notorious Red Cow roundabout and the free for all Dublin rush hour traffic. The hotel was a haven of peace after the Naas Road and the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms were great and the food in the restaurant ok, but don`t order the chicken if you`re particularly hungry (more plate than dinner). We got a great value deal through expedia as I think must must have many of the guests and the place was packed. Ireland`s winds of recession blowing some visitors some good.
i would strongly advise anyone not to stay in this hotel, the hotel was lovely, but when we reached home there was about 200+ moneys worth missing from our suitcases, we rang the hotel ALOT over the space of a few days, (costing us a fortune) they told us they didnt appreciate us pointing fingers. We spoke to the main manager, we have been waiting on him to ring us now for almost two weeks, he said he would ring in a couple of days. They want no responsibility in what has happened in their hotel. Beware..
Bar and retaurant for breakfast - average
Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Bar a bit limited. Resturant has great food especially breakfast.
Good value for money. On industrial estate so not many facilitiles nearby.Buses are frequent and in 40-50 mins you are in the centre of Dublin. Staff were indifferent apart from the one on checking out. Room clean and comfortable.
We had a lovely weekend at the Days Hotel Park West, staff were friendly, service was great and the room was lovely too 9very clean and comfy beds!). Would definitely stay there again if we were to visit Dublin in the furture. Thanks
We only stayed for the two nights but the staff where very friendly and helpful. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the rooms were really nice and clean and the breakfast was so nice I had to go back for a second helping.
Every thing was as we expected from a recommendation we had received. A little far out of city center but would recommend to others
Maybe a computer mistake but even on the website then isn`t working properly either, we booked 2 rooms for 4 people a triple and a single with full english breakfast and were charged the price for rooms with breakfast, however at breakfast we were down as not booked for having breakfast even tho the receipt i had to bring with me even said it. Had to fork out another ?9 * 4 = ?36 for breakfast.....weird
amazing shower, good size clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff, good breakfast. Only thing was location, 25 min walk from tram, buses go outside but last bus does not go all way to hotel so you have to walk through industrial area and they finish fairly early.
The hotel itself is fine. The rooms are fine. Location a bit remote, but we knew that when booking. The principal complaint is that the food quality is really poor, yet fairly expensive. It is also difficult to get served at the bar unless one of the waitresses or someone from reception happens to come by the bar. I would NOT recommend a Days hotel , unless the food were to improve. I definitely would NOT go to this hotel again.
Enjoyed short stay at hotel very clean and staff member who was on duty on arrival was very helpful and polite
The only problem is that it is a bit far away from the city but bus service is very good.
Room freezing cold on arrival , we could not possibly have stayed in it at that temperature, no bath only a shower, teasmaid in a dark cupboard, very dangerous, no extra blankets, no proper food to be got on late arrival, crisps and sweets only. Very far out,40 Euro taxi fare from Town!
Scrambled eggs rubbery and coundn`t eat, puddings hard and tomatoes too long sitting under warming lamps. Didnt chance breakfast on Sunday morning. Reception staff very helpful. Cheers, Barry O`Neill
if visiting this hotel i would strongly recommend trying the thai restuarant in the nearby shopping mall.a bit of a strange location but first class food.
This Hotel was very clean, well managed, quiet & the best i have stayed in in a long time. I would recommend this Hotel without any hesitation. As long as it maintains it`s value for money.
The staff were excellent especially Natasha who will endevour to carry out your requests. She is always pleasant and makes you feel most welcome. The restaurant and bar are also very good. Price of accomodation is reasonable too.
compared with many other places that I have stayed in, the hotel was good value for money, provided great facilities and the free wi-fi probably cost you very little but is the kind of thing that makes a big difference to your guests - thank you
Nice, clean and friendly. The location was the only negative. Quite far out of the city centre and taxis were expensive.
nice staff
