The only thing I could suggest to improve is that a kettle and hot drink facilities were not available, they would have been used if they were present. There was no mini bar available, but that was fine since there are lots of bars around the area. Many places to eat nearby as well as the hotel brasserie. We knew breakfast was not included, we were offered that facility at extra cost. Be prepared to queue for it. We found breakfast elsewhere and would recommend The Ivy on the other side of the river as a perfect place for a visit
Receptionists very helpful and polite. Arrived early to leave bags but able to check in which was an added bonus. Clean comfy rooms amazing pillows. Views over River and position of hotel ideal.
I have stayed at this hotel before & didn`t hesitate to book it again when given he option with the theatre break. I love it. It`s in a spectacular location on the Rive Thames, next to Tower Bridge & the Tower of London. The rooms are great, the staff are very welcoming & helpful. The only objection is the parking charge for hotel patrons! I find this ridiculous!
Great hotel in an amazing location. We got off the river cruise and literally walked across the road to the hotel entrance. The hotel is right on the river, next to the lovely marina and the Tower of London. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We didn`t eat in the hotel so can`t comment on the restaurant. Great value booking a combined hotel/theatre break.
We had a great overnight stay in this hotel. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a view of Tower Bridge. Despite the city location, rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Nice breakfast too, and later checkout than many other hotels. Will stay again!
Blocked toilet. Maintenance looked at but on our return to the hotel toilet still blocked. After complaining we were transferred to the Royal Horseguards hotel.
We have stayed at The Tower before and thorough enjoyed it. Enjoyed our stay this time
Amazing hotel and amazing views!!
Had an upgrade with tower bridge views . A little hefty on the price tho, but my partner loved it. large bed and bedroom. Bar was open until 2 am , good option for later arrival guests. It was ample and clean. Held up slightly on departure. 8/10.
Les Miserable is a truly spectacular show, with some sensational performances and singing. Long, but worth enduring.
I don`t often write reviews but I was so impressed with The Tower Hotel that I felt I had to when prompted. Lovely hotel where the staff were all friendly and helpful but the best was when we walked in the room and the spectacular view of London Bridge we had. It was breathtaking!! Would definitely recommend this hotel and will return in the near future.
I have never been in an English hotel where you are given a free bar pack or an espresso coffee machine. Both appreciated. Will be trying to stay here again on my next visit to London, cannot be faulted
Small room but comfortable
Beautiful hotel in great location . Staff friendly and helpful , we will be back.
Room was lovely but cold. They supplied an electric heater
Our hotel room was immaculate and the view from our window was spectacular. Staff were very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend you stay here.
Unfortunately had to wait to check in as rooms weren`t ready at 3pm, only complaint.
On arrival at the hotel very very busy, that would of be fine if the reception staff and the management been able to cope with the demand. We arrived about 3 pm by 6.30 we had had two rooms alicated to us but unfortunately also alicated to other people as well. We were still without hotel room approaching 7 pm. I was my 50 th birthday treat meal then show. No time for meal so straight to the show via taxi. The build up had been ruined. We had other people able to enter our rooms while we were still in there. I was very concerned about my belongings while away from room. Then an issue at breakfast then the last straw was when a cleaner was clearing us out before we had even checked out . Returned to room to fine some of our clothing items in the bin. We were without an item of footwear due to the moment from room to room. We have also lost sun glasses. We Booked an advanced executive room when we booked. but nothing was included No breakfast no dressing gowns or slippers.
Air conditioning was very poor hotel was way to warm couldn`t get comfortable the room smelt a little bit like fish and the stair case smelt if rubbish.
After having to wait until 3pm to get into our room we had to call reception as there was a nasty stain on the top cover of the bedding, which they changed.
Hotel in a ideal location near St Katherines Dock (small marina and very nice to walk around), close to the tube station, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and lots of other places to eat, drink and visit.
The Tower Hotel is a really lovely hotel, room excellent
The hotel itself was lovely. Our room however was like a box and sooo hot. The bathroom didn`t seem that clean either, had some staining around the bathtub and the shower itself.
A great location, even had a river view!!! Amazing price for the break, much better value than anyone else I was able to find. Will definitely use again.
Great room, comfy bed, lovely river view
Enjoyed our stay and would stay at the Tower again. Good position with excellent transport links to the rest of London. Room clean and adequate for two nights stay, restaurant excellent and breakfast good with plenty of choices.
Good overall.
Fantastic hotel, great staff, fantastic afternoon tea, able to accommodate gluten free tea, birthday treat for hubby too. Absolutely lovely! Executive room was excellent, very clean, great view of Tower Bridge Will definitely stay at hotel next time in London. Thank you,Tower hotel. Executive club was great for complimentary drinks and lovely breakfast, really special addition to our stay,
Despite an initial (IT related) delay during check-in, we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Superb room and facilities and what a location! Staff very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely stay again.
Room we had was v tired
Very good hotel. Upgraded to executive and was well worth the extra.
Been here few times before on a deal with theatre Room quite small but perfectly adequate and a lovely view Room very clean but disappointed someone looked like they had used the loo and not flushed ! I did report and the receptionist said she would tell housekeeping and apologised. Apart from that perfect in every other way breakfast superb and staff very obliging polite and helpful no waiting fir service and all foods and choices well topped up
Stayed here for then first time after a reccomendation from a friend hotel is 5 minutes from tower hill tube station.. had a lovely time booked the executive suite paid for breakfast the next morning at only £12 per person bargain buffet was lovely my room over looked the entrance of st Katherine dock the free bar for the executive suite was wasted unfortunately as you had a choice of wine beer or hot tea and coffee no spirits bit disappointed on that... at breakfast time nothing was to much double for the very busy staff. all in all fantastic time and I will be back... (lovely Xmas decorations everywhere very festive)
We booked 4 double rooms, 3 were lovely the fourth however was not of the same standard in fact well below. With a bed that was like a board to sleep on and the television did not work and the decor was very dated. We could not understand that having booked all four rooms at the same time we would get 3 good and this appalling room.. We asked to change rooms but they said they were fully booked and so literary just put up with it. The receptionist did not even apologise.
Had a fantastic experience at the hotel. We booked an executive room and it was superb with free mini bar and access to free snacks and drinks at executive club bar. Lovely room too. All in all a lovely hotel stay!
Stunning views, rooms a little tired
