Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, great food and atmosphere!

I was asked for a 50 deposit which was later to be refunded however I think this needs to be made clear on booking.

Stayed one night team very helpful, clean room, quiet location

From the moment we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and very clean. The room was just the right size and clean also. We had dinner there on the Saturday night, the food and service didn`t disappoint, the same goes for breakfast, with a wide choice for all. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again without question.

Apart from loud music my stay was enjoyable. Could use someway to put soap and shampoo in shower. Terasa at front desk was lovely very helpful

Stayed at The Continental as a last minute thing, as a break before going off to Study. Only for the 1 night. Looked like a block of flats at first, but inside we were pleasantly surprised. Very lovely staff, room wasn`t ready when arrived so went into London but parked car in there secure car park, was a charge of £15.00. Once we went back to check in around 19:00, we were told by reception we needed to pay £50 deposit for the room, which was unexpected. Room was lovely, large open window, walk in shower, comfortable bed and complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate with biscuits! Check out time was reasonable at 11:00. We left room early to use the Gold`s Gym (part of hotels pool and spa) as wasn`t sure if we had to show room key at first. Overall a very pleasant stay. The Underground was very close to the hotel, there was a few local shops near by, and also a shopping area close also with Poundland, New Look etc. Very happy with our stay, highly recommend.

The staff were very attentive to the customers and were extremely helpful, always smiling and polite. The room was very comfortable and met everything i required. I would stay there again

Disadvantage : Room ping point has problems, lights are not working and phone line is totally dead to contact receptionist. And also there is no nearest restaurants near to this hotel. Advantage: Hotel near to Hounslow central station, has good pool and fitness centre.

The lady behind reception was lovely, the public areas ate much nicer than the room was. We had half of the tea and coffee facilities, one lonely towel and a manky shower. The sheets were a bit worse for wear and the headboard was scratched to bits. Half of the hotel directory was missing. It was in a convenient location near the tube. Breakfast was good.

On the morning after we arrived testing was being done on the fire alarms. The alarm in our room continued to go off all day and on two occassions we had someone enter our room to check the alarm. All the hotel did about this was say sorry and that it was for our own safety. We were not told about the testing before we booked or upon arrival. On top of this when we complained at reception the receptionists attitude about it was awful, it seemed as if our complaining was more of an inconvenience to her than the alarm being an inconvenience to ourselves. The rooms were very plain which is a far cry from how some of the pictures would have you believe and although it wasnt the most expensive hotel in and around the London area i dont think we received any value for money. Definetly wont be returning to this hotel.

Staff were friendly at all times and helped me as much as they could, very refreshing in London! Comfy bed, clean facilities. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room, very nice bonus. Overall great hotel right near Hounslow Central Station.

Upon arrival, room not ready. So late check in. Room, presentable but lacks fresh air as all windows cannot be opened. Air con did its own thing. Worked when it wanted too. Key card didn`t work so locked out of room on several occasions. Breakfast, never hot enough, seems its cooked at 7 and left there until all guests have eaten. Room not cleaned or towels changed on 2nd day or towels changed. Staff at reception helpful on local knowledge and recommend pool, gym, spa etc. if your on a buget and don`t mind cold cooked food it`s ideal. The rooms are ideal if you just want somewhere to sleep. Not a family place.

The hotel was clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was quite nice. A good choice on offer. Our room was very warm. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean and well stocked. We had to pay a fifty pound deposit that we weren`t expecting. Would use again as close to tube.

Had an excellent stay at The Continental Hotel, Hounslow. All staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was clean, modern, welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast service was of a very good standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will most definitely be returning in the near future.

Excellent breakfast and very good staff. Enjoyed our stay but detracted from by poor lift. One lift accommodating only 3 people is unacceptable in a hotel seeking to project a quality image.

Room was nice apart from window never opened and the bathroom had a very damp smell rising up through the drain. Bed was comfy air conditioning worked. The car park is quite small but 15 quid is ok for tge day and night. Breakfast was a standard help yourself buffet, food was ok. Overall the stay was god for the price I paid

We had a "premier" room which cost a little extra but was very nice well decorated with clean en suite walk in shower though room perhaps a little small. Very kind and attentive staff though drinks in hotel bar very overpriced (£4.50 to £5 for a beer). Location to get away from Central London last tube on a Saturday night from Piccadilly Circus is 11.10 so not great for going out of an evening. However nice hotel with welcoming staff and good food.

the room was far too hot the fan provided in the room was broken checking i was asked for a passport and a deposit of 50 pounds not mentioned when booking online.3 people in reception i would rather have one person other two kept staring which is rude.

staff friendly and helpful, restaurant excellent. rooms not 4 star we had superior !! tile grout black needs serious bleaching, desk lamp broken and not repaired in the 3 days there despite 3 requests. decor poor needs a refurbishment. one cushion on bed filthy left a note about it so it was taken and not replaced. its pool and leisure area was superb and the tube a couple of mins with easy link to town so on the whole a good priced hotel just needs some attention.

We chose this hotel for the access to the Picadilly line and this worked very well for us. The hotel itself is rather in need of a general deep clean and some refurbishment, staff have been extremely approachable, helpful and polite and are a real asset to this hotel. The pool and spa was an added interest to us and we enjoyed this facility every morning. We stayed on the top floor, quieter being that bit further away from the traffic but the lift is rather slow and only for 3 so allow plenty of time when using it. Locally there is a Debenhams, an Asda and a Bank. Shame really, a good clean and general refurb would help it enormously and support the staff in the excellent job they do. we are not fans of the buffet breakfast as the we generally find this does not present hot food at its best, we did give this a try and found nothing to alter our view. Freshly cooked poached eggs however do come recommended. This is London you could pay a lot more and get a lot less.

hotel was good staff and service was excellent, food also was good including breakfast. very handy for heathrow airport only 3 stops on tube, also the tube station was only 2 mins away. would certainly stay again.

a suffocating smell of wet carpet and mould permeated the air, and continued even after i entered the room. The room appeared ok on the surface, but while looking around, all I could see was dust everywhere. The curtains were beyond filthy. The light fixtures were hanging unevenly, and that smell! Mould and wet carpet, was unbearable. The smell was so bad that i could feel it in the back of my nose and throat. I called them and told them that my guests and I can`t sleep in that room as we would get ill. They said they were fully booked and didn`t have anymore rooms. I said ok i will leave, and they said the fee was non refundable. At that point i really didn`t care, i felt like i had spent enough time in there, the air was so heavy, it had brought on a headache. So i left. At that point I reasoned to myself that my health was more important than a refund. There are loads of other hotels out there that are way cheaper and much nicer. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

We arrived at the hotel, which is only a 2 minute walk from the tube station, without high expectations however, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The Staff on reception were very friendly. We had to pay a minimum £50 fee on credit card upon arrival. Unfortunately due to the fact that it was new year`s eve we did not get to use the pool and spa facilities which I was a little disappointed about, Instead we had a massage in the spa salon. The lift was not an issue for us, as it appears to have been for a few guests, was a little slow but that`s all. The rooms were clean and had tea/coffee making facilities also a fridge and safe (no extra charge). Slight damp smell in hallways and some TLC needed to windowsills, paintwork, grouting in bathroom, and taps in bathroom, but to be honest this was not an issue for one night. We decided to pay the extra £4 for a hot breakfast which was good. Overall great value for money hotel and we wouldn`t hastate to return.

I had booked this for me and my girlfriend as it was her birthday it look beautiful on the website and it is when you get there but was very rudely spoken to by a few members of staff, everything was over priced also breakfast you had o pay for if you wanted anything hot. we was not told that you needed to put a credit card down and they could take £50 min from you incase you had anything. they were unhelpful and rude. i would rate the hotel but not the staff. thanks Kieran

The Continental hotel was value for money, staff giving excellent friendly service, rooms are modern + very clean, two minutes to Hounslow Central Station, would recommend

A hotel that appears to be trying to be top class but does not quite make it. Our room on the third floor was quiet, but we could still hear the thump thump from the gym complex quite early in the morning. There was a distinct smell in the room, possibly mould disguised by sandalwood scent. Breakfast service and bar service on the first day was excellent, but not matched on the second day. Lift is very small. Personally, we found the availlability of gym and pool complex excellent. Decor was getting tired and we chose not to eat evening meal there as we found good food for lower cost elswhere. Overall, an OK place to stay, but in the average range compared to hotels of the same nae in other parts of the world., eg hotel Continental Wellington.

A good, clean and well run hotel. Within easy walking distance of the tube. Staff are polite and courteous. Couldn`t get the free wifi to work though - my only gripe.

Having read other reviews on this hotel, I was worried what we might find. Staff are pleasant, room well furnished, nice shower, nothing to fault really. I would stay again. Thanks
