Beautiful rooms with superb attention to detail. Impeccably clean and well maintained. I booked a family room but we were given a junior suite complete with childs robe, slippers and toiletries. Very child friendly. Outstanding view of the Eiffel Tower. Lovely breakfast with great variety. Great transport links. Like home from home. Would not stay anywhere else.

Fantastic breakfast included in hotel direct deal. Restaurant staff helpful with baby seat. First room no. 109 on first floor faced over the cemetery and although very well presented was noisy at night. Asked to be relocated and the next room 419 faced to the inner courtyard - no view (unless you count air conditioning units!) but much more peaceful. Gill at Hotel Direct was very helpful initially on phone.

Our room (517) was delightfully quiet - overlooking garden and well-appointed/furnished. The staff were almost universally helpful and breakfast was a winner. Dinner in the restaurant was excrutiatingly expensive (they offer a water menu! Ye Gods) Better to eat in the nearby square. Our room was not cleaned one day - and we had to badger the evening receptionist (personality of a wet paper bag) to (a) get it cleaned and (b) to offer us free drinks while we waited. Similarly, the tea/coffee was not replenished -- until we asked for it. Other than these niggles, it`s a great hotel in a fabulous location and we`d recommend it to anyone.

The service was very slow, other than that every thing was lovely.

the hotel has great views over the city and the surrounding area has plenty of cafes and bars. the only dissapointment was the service at breakfast with very little staff.

Just back from my third stay at The Terrass. Another fantastic weekend horse racing at Longchamp. The hotel is perfectly situated near transport links and a minutes walk from a good choice of the bars and restaurants of Montmarte. Rooms are a touch on the small size but well decorated and more importantly clean. Make sure you request a city view if you are fussy about these things. The breakfast is superb!

We had a 5-night stay in Rm 310. Excellent room and buffet breakfast was superb. Staff were all very discreet and helpful. Montmatre is a delightful area with lots of wonderful resturants and village atmosphere. Easy access to many places of interest and good location for metro lines. Superb weather was the icing on the cake! We will definately return to this hotel.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, staff were excellent, especially the concierge who got us the most amazing seats reserved at the Moulin Rouge. Will definitely stay again when we visit.

Very disappointed with first room offered but upgraded to a suite for the second and third night. Well worth the extra, by any standards it was a lovely room with a sofa, balcony and view of Eiffel Tower. I would go back again but definately ask for a room at the front. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean.

The hotel is excellant apart from the food, great location , great staff . The views from the roof terrace are superb. The only negative point is the food served in the evening. There are loads of great restaurants close by so best to use them. I would stay in the hotel again.

First class greeting on arrival, courteous and very helpful staff throughout my stay, first class room, great breakfast times suitable for all types of visitors, lovely food, helped make a great weekend in a fabulous city.

A good 4* hotel with exceptional staff. The area behind the hotel is lovely, with cobbled streets, quirky shops and a great boulangerie... be careful you don`t go astray from Blanche Metro station like we did... we ended up walking down the road with the Moulin Rouge on it, past some very dodgy adult shops, not a great first impression of Paris, particularly for my 6 year old!

We really enjoyed the location of this hotel but personally was disappointed at the standard of the room allocated to us. We didn`t have any room to store away our luggage so kept falling over it when trying to get to the wardrobe! We did see the room next door when the maids were claening and this appeared much bigger and a higher standard - we were at the back of the hotel and as there were many rooms unoccupied should really have asked to be moved as we also only had a shower and the room desription had said bath. We had lunch at rooftoof terrace which is stunning although only wanted light snack and were horrified at the cost of the boll. At 17 euros each we didn`t have breakfast at the hotel and instead had short walk to local cafe which served good value petit dejeuner at 7.50 euros each. Overall ok stay but should have requested better room

All the staff were friendly and helpful.The decor was perfect and everywhere was spotlessly clean.The breakfast was delicious and we loved the 7th floor terrace.Would definately return!

Having stayed in Paris before, we know that choosing a suitable hotel can be difficult. No mistake this time. Situated on the edge of Montmarte with an easy stroll upto the Sacre Coeur, a stones throw from the Moulin Rouge (not to be missed), there is a metro station with links to all parts of the city just around the corner.The staff are friendly, helpful and very efficient. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and and furnished to an extremely high standard. All in all an amazing visit and i would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Other than the snooty and lazy attitude of the terrace staff, the everyone at the hotel was very helpful. Good location with plenty of alternatives nearby for eating and drinking, as expected the room was small but clean and well furnished. Well worth the stay and would certainly return

We stayed on a room only basis and didn`t use the hotel restaurant at any stage mainly because we could eat cheaper elsewhere. However the room was equipped with everything you could ask for and it was cleaned spotlessly every day. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was our second visit to the Terrass Hotel, and we are looking forward to staying there again next year.

We found this hotel to be everything we were hoping for. clean and modern, yet the building still retaining an atmosphere of classic Paris. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect for Montmarte. If i have to find something to fault i suppose the rooms were a little small, but hey, that`s Paris.

The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing however we couldn`t get to eat in the restaurant as this was fully booked. You definitely need to book early. It looked amazing. It was very pricey for drinks 28 euros for two mojhitos!!!! Staff were very helpful. The room was spotless. The shower and the hairdryer was the main two dissapointments. The shower I felt like I had to run round to get wet it was such a weak water flow and the hairdryer lacked power!! It would have dried quicker in the small breeze outside!!!! Overall amazing stay!

Exceptional service, friendly and very helpful staff. Very high standard of accommodation. A decent walk into centre of Paris but well worth the effort for the superb views from Montmartre and in particular this hotel. (wonderful views from the terrace restaurant). Close to Sacre-Coeur and the charming cobble stoned centre of Montemartre. Should we return to Paris we would definitely look for this hotel again.

lovely hotel with beautifully furnished bedrooms. it is superbly located for montmartre and its bars and restaurants. the food is to die for and the rooftop restauranr has the best views over paris. watch out for the eiffel tower lighting up in the evening. it is only a 15 minute stroll down to the heart of paris and i wouldn`t stay anywhere else in paris. fantastic.

Standard room was small but very nicely decorated, bathroom was excellant (bath with separate shower plus his & her basin, separte loo. Breakfast well worth the money, hugh choice. Good location for cafe/bistros/restaurants in the Montmatre area, easy bus trip to the river. Staff very helpful.

This hotel was perfectly placed for Montmartre. Friendly, clean, warm hotel with the unexpected bonus of tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfasr was excellent and sets you up nicely for the day. Staff very helpful. Loved the location. Only a few steps outside and there are lots of Bistro, bars and restaurants. Nice safe area within easy walking distance of Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur amd Metros. Would recommend.

Second stay and in a standard room this time , although the room was smaller it was still of the same quality , breakfast was excellent but missed the poached eggs that were available on our last stay ,would be lovely to have a bar on the roof as the veiw in the eve is amazing , hotel is well placed for visiting all the attractions and monmatre at the top of the road is a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing , we went to monets garden and the palace of versielle all easy journeys with the tube and rail link , will def stay at the Terrass again

The hotel was excellent however the room we where given did not have air conditioning so I complained and was given a different room which was excellent. An excellent hotel in a briliiant location.

Dont be put off by any negative comments that you may read about this hotel.Of course some members of staff are better than others - but that is found in any Hotel.Overall our weekend stay was a very enjoyable experience -the reception staff were helpful pleasant and readily spoke English.Good location with easy access into centre of Paris by Bus (stops right outside) or Blanche & Abeyss metro stations - plenty of local reasonably priced and not too touristy restaurnts nearby.Our room was great and well furnished with all amenties including complimentary Tea & Coffee - we shall be back

this is a nice clean well run hotel in a good location. The roof terrace was undergoing renovation so we did not see it. our room was at the back and on first floor. Though it was fine, with a nice bathroom (big bath) it was dark and not huge. if you had one at the front with view over city would be great. Piped bird song. Nice breakfast with lovely fresh pressed orange juice.

Excellent location with great views from the Terrace, friendly and professional staff, spotlessly clean. Our room and ensuite were on the small side, but extremley well laid out with all the facilities you`d expect and the best shower i`ve had in a long time.

Disappointed with no outlook at all & no information or option given when booking.Room service a little lacking cups not changed each day & tea/biscuits not refreshed ...missed those after a hard day in Paris.No written breakfast menu,no evidence of cooked options,we had to continually ask.Breakfast a little limited for a four star hotel in Paris.Toilet extremely tight,very awkward.
