A great location and very helpful staff. We couldnt have been happier. Will be back for another visit we hope!
This was the fourth time that we have had the pleasure of staying at the Terrass and we enjoyed it just as much. The rooms are luxurious, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is perfectly situated for getting about town and the local area has a friendly, warm feel to it. We will be staying there again next year!
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Terass over the Ney Years Eve period and found the Hotel to be really great with fantastic service. The Hotel Conceirge was particularly helpfull and informative. Only downside was the Bar was a little pricey, evewn for Paris and that`s saying something! We would definately use the hotel for a stay in Paris again.
Very hard beds, may be to some people`s liking, but too hard for me. But did not detract from a very good hotel.
The only suggestion I would make is that a map is placed on the Terrace, identifying the landmarks of Paris.
Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, all staff very pleasant and helpful. Good location.
Personally i found the Terrass to be over priced, simple. The location of the hotel is very good and if you get a high level outward facing room(a suite!) the views are smashing. Unfortunately upon arrival i was presented with a sub-standard room for a high-standard price(401) and decided to upgrade, for another 50 euros of course!. On the plus sides the staff are lovely and the concierge are very efficient. Would i stay there again......no sorry i know there`s a better deal to be had elsewhere.
Room was not 4 star quality. Despite being non-smoking, the maids or mini bar inspector were obviously smoking in the rooms. Every day we returned we were greeted with heavy smell of cigarette smoke. Reception did not see this as an issue. Hotel fare and service tried to be 5 star to justify the costs - but it failed and came across as over elaborate, unsuitable and pompous. The location was as fine and equal distance from 2 underground stops. However, recommend people to use Clichy rather than Blanche station to avoid seedier sights of Paris strip clubs.
We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay in Hotel Terrass - very clean and friendly. It is about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Paris but an open top tour bus passes 8 minutes away. Montmartre is relaxing with many of its own shops, restaurants and places to visit. In the evening I would recommend the La Queue du Chat restaurant where we had a very pleasant meal - turn left leaving hotel, walk about 5 minutes, turn left up a slight hill and it`s the second of two restaurants. You do, of course, pass many other eating establishments where all the locals gather - it`s up to you.
I have visited Paris 7 times over the last 5 years and have wanted to stay in the Terrass Hotel for a long time. It lived up to my expectations. I had seen on the web site some photo`s of rooms but all I can say is mine 306 was perfect. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful, everything fresh and again the staff were great. I would certainly stay at the Terrass again and would recommend it to friends and family.
room service poor took 30 mins arrived no cutlery, omlette and fries stone cold asked for glass of milk tiny milk jug arrived no glass. Otherwise pleasant stay front of house staff very pleasant
Room was beautiful, hotel in goof location. View fantastic. Instructions on how to get there need reviewing, our only complaint.
A good hotel for exploring the area lots of bars and restaurants close by. Bed in our room was VERY VERY short and my husband who is just over 6ft could not lie in the bed straight. Our only other bug bear was that we were booked on a bed and COOKED breakfast deal. This hotel does not offer cooked breakfast apart from fried egg and bacon at an extra charge of 9euros and even when my husband requested toast his request was not honoured.
Nice, clean hotel, good location away from busy tourist Paris. Exactly what we were looking for.
Personally thought that the dinner menu was a bit restrictive.
We had a great time at the Terrass. Nice friendly staff, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast. we would love to go again !
Good location, lovely rooms, good air con, quiet, quality in everything, an excellent breakfast; ambience and service excellent, A good 4 star. Book well in advance if you wish to dine on the Terrace, though the groundfloor restaurant oozes with qualality and gentle atmosphere.
Staff very warm and welcoming. Hotel lovely. Definately stay there again.
This was a late booking for business but I would definitely return and recommend. The service was excellent and the experience a very positive one from start to finish.
Stayed here for 6 nights and recommend it. Room comfortable, decorated to a high standard and had clear view to Eiffel Tower and Invalides Dome. Concierge very helpful, staff pleasant, English spoken. Buffet breakfast has wide choice with cooked food if desired. The scrambled eggs were delicious! 10 minutes walking distance from Sacre Coeur area of Montmartre and very easy to get from hotel to other parts of the city. Nearest Metros Blanche and Place de Clichy. Buses 80 and 95 also pass the hotel. I would happily stay here again.
Great rooms and breakfasts (included in our rate) Location first class for exploring the Montmartre area. The taxi fares either from/to the Railway station or to sightseeing spots were in the range 10 - 20 euro range, not bad for a capital city. Hotel was also able to get us tickets for the Moulin Rouge for only a small service charge. I will recommend and stay again.
Very nice hotel clean and comfortable very quiet room - excellent situation - metro close by. Would recommend this hotel.
The service we received throughout our stay was exemplary. The rooms were furnished to a high standard and breakfast was more than adequate. The views from the terrace on the 7th floor are superb - particularly when it snows in April!
The hotel was generally very good, staff very helpful (particularly Danielle the concierge), location was excellent for commuting to various other parts of Paris. Breakfast was excellent and included in the price of the room which is unsual for Paris. Would definitely use this hotel again. The only minor blemish would be the size of the room, however, it was still very clean and well maintained. Thanks for a great couple of days Kathleen and Chris - Motherwell, Scotland.
Overall this hotel was great. Our room was quite small with no bath but for the money it was very good value. Breakfasts are very good and the service of the waiting staff and reception staff is friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to have a late check out on the day we left as our plane was fairly late in the day. We hope to go back to this hotel later in the year when the terrace is open as it has a lovely view over Paris.
Only one problem during our stay. One morning at breakfast, the hotel ran out of eggs, but didn`t tell anyone at first why the delay was for breakfast. Could have been handled better. Only a small point as the hotel was very good really.
The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Sacre Ceour, at least 3 metro stations and what seems like hundreds of restuarants/bars. On first impression the area is a bit shabby, however this is soon replaced with a recognition that it appears shabby because it is so full of life and hence very busy. The Metro is simple to use, cheap and very convenient. Make sure tha you take comfortable shoes!
