The hotel was so near the metro station! Our room was very clean and quite large (family room). Will stay again, definitely.
3 nights mid week in may. the hotel was modern stylish and clean, tucked away on rue cadet a fantastic little street in the opera area. the bedroom, although small was of high standard as was the bathroom. the desk staff were friendly and very helpful. breakfast was more than adequate. would certainly use again.
We felt our room was a bit small and we were glad we only had one night in it, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were also very helpful and pleasant.
Would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect and the hotel was very clean. Cleaning staff very frienlly and excellent at their job. Bar quiet but plenty of bars and resturants within 5 minutes. Took roissybus back to airport...very convenient and cheap
as above, now stayed here 3 times, enjoyed it every time
Good base for Central Paris/Monmarte. Easy to get to from Charles de Gaul Airport. Only one change at Chatelet (long walk). Hotel in quiet street. Plenty of eating places nearby. Galleries Layfayette and other shopping couple of stops on the metro. Sacre Coeur 10 mins walk.
Rooms we claen and for a short stay very good the only issue I have is (and i believe this is the case in most paris hotels, i have recently stayed in the Lyon are and two Hotels both had this facility ) that there is no basic tea & coffee making in the rooms. This to me makes the difference between very good & excellent. Also directions could have been better ` on leaving the Metrro cross rue laffeyete and the hotel is situated twenty yards on ru cadet.`
Easy access to the middle of Paris
Just returned after 4 nights stay. Good location near Metro and buses. Comfortable Hotel value for money in a good area of Paris. Had a problem with TV reception but was fixed within the hour!
good hassle free and would use again
We were over in Paris for a total of 4 nights and the Opera Cadet was more and adequate for us. Most of its staff were more than helpful apart from one guy receptionist who was the only bad part about the hotel. The other receptionist were very nice though. The hotel was in a very good location. A minutes walk from the nearest metro station and the area itself seemed very nice. If we were to go back to Paris, which we would, we would have no problems staying at the Opera Cadet again, as the price was excellent for what you got.
Would unconditionally reccommend. Location, close to Metro is very convienent and plenty of good bars/cafes nearby. Also within easy walking distance of many attractions. Reasonable sized rooms with good facilites and spotlessly clean. Overall good value for money in a pricey city.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the rooms are clean and adequate and the staff are helpful and friendly. The drawbacks are that there are no Tea/Coffee making facilities in the rooms which we would expect in a 3 Star UK hotel also there are no dining facilities other than for breakfast. We would probably consider staying at this hotel in the future.
quiet, clean ,friendly, relaxing, very convient for Paris/train station
Excellent location, very helpful staff. Would definitely return on next visit to Paris.
Room too compact. Noise level from main street made it difficult to get a good night sleep.
Initially in a room to the front which picked up street noise and a request for a quieter room was immediately dealt with. Rooms were small but fine (wardrobe tiny). Very close to Metro station but not the best line for easy connections. Staff very nice and overall a pleasant stay.
Rooms clean, great location (and there are quiet rooms available at the back of the building), mixture of staff but generally ok given they are French!!!
We paid a supplement for Superior rooom and was upgraded to a Suite. The hotel and the suite are well decorated and well maintained. Lots of French baked goods and real orange juice for breakfast in the glass conservatory. The hotel is very close to a Metro stop on a line that runs to the Louvre with easy connections to all other lines.
The hotel was fairly central for what we wanted to do. We were able to walk to some of Paris`s main attractions easily. Reception staff were knowledgeable, polite and helpful. Being able to use the hotel`s parking facility was an absolute plus. Plenty of good resturants etc in easy walking distance. Room was clean, minbar well stocked. We would definately recommend this hotel to others and will consider using it again.
Comfortable average-sized rooms, the conservatory and garden a quiet haven. Don`t overcharge for bar or telephone. Ask about the shuttle service to and from the airport. I`ll be staying there again.
EXCELLENT LOCATION- all areas easily accessible by metro bus etc HELPFUL STAFF- Thank you for all their help with travel by local transport & booking Moulin Rouge Tickets and arranging a taxi. BREAKFAST - very good ROOMS - Clean & tidy - Good fixtures & fitments- nothing broken chipped & no funny smells. WARDROBE - Very small - would not suit people on a longer holiday or a family. SMOKING - Not able to enjoy breakfast or realx in the Garden Room because of people smoking around the food and all other times. What a shame, would have been nice after a long day out walking round Paris to sit and relax. HAD A FANTASTIC CITY BREAK- would recommend to Family and Friends. SEE YOU ALL NEXT TIME
