we found the hotel very clean good size bedrooms and staff could not have been more helpful we hope to stay here again in the future
We had a great stay at this hotel, staff were friendly and efficient, the hotel clean and very well situated. We will stay in this hotel again without a second thought.
Staff all very welcoming and professional. Rooms fine for short stays. Bathrooms could be a little bigger with better showers but on the whole a great place to stay. Stayed before and will stay again.
Room small but very well equiped
We booked last minute and had a small double room, which was very reasonably priced for central London. The room size was perfectly adequate for 2 adults, it was modern, clean and convenient. The staff were friendly. Would def recommend and hope to stay again.
Perfectly good hotel in good location. Continental breakfast extremely good - lovely FRESH croissants and as it is a buffet breakfast you could eat your fill. Service at breakfast was slow - not enough staff on duty so buffet kept running out of things and queues built up at busy times as guests waited around for more croissants, plates, glasses etc. Management need to address this issue, otherwise a most enjoyable stay.
we were very pleasantly suprised with the standard of this hotel, as you never know until you get there if it lives up to pictures etc. The room was more than adequate, spacious and had everything we needed. Very good standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel, great staff and a good feeling about the place. It has room key operated lifts so very secure aswell. we will definately return on our next visit to London. we highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to all at club Quarters st pauls
This hotel is fantastic value for money. The bedroom had all the amenities (and more) of a 4 star hotel. The reception staff were extremley polite and helpful. I can certainly recommend this hotel.
Designed mainly for lengthy corporate occupancy - take advantage of rooms that become available to non members at the weekends. Spacious, well appointed rooms, comfortable lounge, complimentary coffee and chilled water, adjoining Cote restaurant offers excellent food at reasonable prices. Situated right by St Paul`s, with plenty of bars ,restaurants and an easy stroll to the Tate Modern.Check prices as booking direct is not always the cheapest option - and prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. Hotels Direct was the best deal we found.
Stayed over when in London for a wedding. Very comfortable bed, quiet room (for london!) good shower room. Nice, friendly staff. Easy access to tube. Picturesque location right by St Pauls.
Clean and comfortable with friendly staff, but I fail to see how it gains four stars. The breakfast buffet was poor ( no choice, no bread rolls, no grapefruit juice, no semi skimmed milk) though the cooked breakfast was excellent. The walls were very thin and it sounded like next door having a shower was in our room! No biscuits with the complimentary tea and coffee! 1 ply cheap tissues supplied in the room. No bath. Just not up to the standard I was expecting. Felt like an up market travellodge and no more.
The bed was not done when we arrived The reception was not friendly expensive breakfast Well located but too expensive not value for money
Club Q was a great place to stay. Not over luxurious but what do you want for this price? Staff were great and very helpful, the place was very clean and had endless supplies of towels, toiletries etc and there was free tea, coffee and mineral water. Would stay here again no problem.
the hotel staff were very pleasant on arrival very helpful we were given an upgrade after we inquired about the upgrade offer which was on display in reception area. room was very nice abit surprised the sink unit was not in the shower room with toilet but it did not bother us. we did not hear the bells from st. paul`s from our room 6th floor at the back. location is good subway 5 min away, sains and m&s food express around the corner. garfunkels 2 doors away for breakfast. we enjoyed our 2 night stay would stay there again.
Clean, comfortable, good location, very helpful staff, would stay again.
The hotel was superb. The location is excellent, right in the heart of London. We shall be booking our next stay shortly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Whilst I cannot fault the staff who were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is my opinion is dated the walls are thin enough for you to hear whispered conversations in adjoining rooms and our bathroom door would not shut. Another tip if you are staying request a room at rear of hotel which I would imagine is less noisy....oh and remember ST Pauls bells chime the quarter hour and full hour. I have paid less for better hotels but as I say the staff are superb!!
Found the hotel to be well situated, Taxi`s were easy and not expensive to the west end for our show. Would stay again.
The Quaters was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and clean. The location was astounding! I couldn`t believe how close it was to St Pauls. The only one problem I had was the walk to the room, it seemed amazingly out of the way, having to walk down steps and through weird doors, it was a bit of a maze. But I would recommend club quarters to anyone spending a few nights in London.
Friendly and helpful staff; comfortable rooms with all the facilities required for a short stay; excellent location.
Very clean well equipped and locaed hotel.Staff very helpful, failed to tell us however that you need to use your room key pass in the lift to enable you to travel down. The only dissapointment was that on booking this hotel on screen the price advertized showed as having breakfast included so four of us went to breakfast and then on check out was told we owed forty something pound. My fault for not checking confirmation details properly, but even so breakfast round the corner or even if you just walked in off the street was less than the 12.95 we were charged per person. Wont do that again
would be nice to have a bar area,to relax , not just a quiet lounge, you have to use the restaurant if you want to have a drink no where int he hotel to grab a snack.but plenty eating places within walking distance. rooms are cool and clean . water bottle in hall are a good idea, not enough pillows, otherwise fine.
You won`t get much at this price range in such a fantastic location. Not the most luxurious hotel in the world but modern and clean with nice sized rooms and helpful staff. Brilliant location too, nice to have St Paul`s Cathedral to wake up too. Would recommend and will stay again whenever we need a centrally located hotel.
Will defiantly be returning to this hotel, it was 1st class x
From the moment we walked through the revolving door, we were treated in a very friendly and welcoming manner. The room was spotlessly clean and well laid out. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.
I stayed in a small double room that was well appointed but very masculine in decor. All equipment worked well including the ipod dock and bathroom facilities. The room next door had a very noisy door which was used by the occupants regularly through the night and made sleep a little disturbed. I tried to use the internal phone system to order room service from the bistrot attached to the hotel but could not get through at all. I did, however use the menu provided by an outside company who delivered in 40 minutes and for which the hotel only charge £2.50 to deliver to my room. I felt that the greeting on arrival was brusque and business-like but not very welcoming and that staff rarely greeted me when entering or leaving the hotel. I would stay here again, nevertheless as it is ideally placed for conference venues and tourism/shopping. Lovely to wake to the sound of St.Pauls bells on the Sunday morning!
Only one minor flaw, the A/C blew out hot air regardelss the setting, no real issue for us in February, but could be a pain in the summer.
was so convenient and in a lovely area, the room was great with little bonus amenities!would stay there again.
Had an enjoyable stay at the hotel.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean, pleasant surroundings and nice touches ..all to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Would have no hesitation in making a return visit.
I stayed in Club Q St.Paul`s on a Saturday and all aspects of the hotel were excellent. Firstly there was great value, large very clean rooms, free bottled water and hot drinks, a great lounge to relax in and friendll staff. I can not fault this hotel and would highly recommend it to leisure travellers on a weekend as it suites modest budgets, has a great location and provides all necessary for short leisure trips.
The only issue we had was temperaturre of room; we prefer to sleep in a cool room. When we arrived the room was very hot so I switched on the AC and went out for the evening, when we returend the room was still too hot. Not sure if the AC was switched off as it was very cold outside or simnply it was broken. It was too late in the evening to expect anything done.
Lovely hotel, service was really nice, room was very pleasant with microwave, fridge and flat screen tv. Will def stay again. The only down full the room was extremely hot and no air cond they brought us a little fan which helped a tiny bit and also breakfast £8.50 for continental a little bit expensive for roast and cereal.
