Faultless
Everyone so helpful and kind service with a smile Especially Kanticha and the gentleman At the desk frontage
The reason for our visit was for my wife`s 60 th birthday surprise !! On arrival the receptionist pointed us to the lift without informing us of need to use room card for lift to work and upon entrance to the room was highly disappointed !! The room was small basic and just about had the items stated !! The rooms are dated need improvement and when approaching the reception we were told this is normal for centre of London and offered to upgrade if we paid extra !! Having been to London on many occasions and stayed in much better accommodation with first class facilities I felt we were being fobbed off ?? Will not be returning to this hotel on future visits and totally disappointed with hotel and attitude !! Recommend to avoid strongly to other prospective customers !! Only saving grace was breakfast was ok !!
Loved the hotel, would recommend. Breakfast to die for. Scrambled eggs, best every. I was supporting a lady (Mencap) and Gary supported me, resulting in the stay and outings running smoothly.Thank you
Staff excellent, food well served and good value. Breakfast excellent. TV not working, have to be a computer scientist to work out the gobble-computer script. Wi-Fi not working in room 626 - very poor signal strength, connected to wireless but network errors, tried on 3 devices all same issues. Did report in the morning at check-out.
Fabulous hotel, very very friendly, helpful staff, lovely clean room and in a fantastic position in London 2 minute walk from Russel Square tube station, would highly recommend
Very good hotel clean tidy
Good Room, good staff nice girl Sara on the check in desk very helpful. Good Breakfasts and evening meal. Pity about Callaghans Bar that was dark dingy and smelly. The only people in there were a group of scruffy fowl mouthed possibly local people. We had one drink and went elsewhere. We would not want to eat in Callaghans Bar.
A superb stay
This hotel is a typical HI although furniture is looking a bit tired. The staff are polite and friendly. It hasa small shopping area which is great for a quick food stop. There`s 2 pubs one next door and one across the road and transport links are brill. Great stay this weekend. Thanks all at HI Bloomsbury.
Staff excellent & helpfull
This was our first experience of staying in a Holiday Inn Hotel for we would highly recommend staying there as the hotel is superb with the most helpful & wonderful staff who could not do enough for us during our stay.
Great location to central London but also local area with shops and bars and restaurants
Everything we needed room clean and bed really comfy staff were all lovely. Have recommended to a friend for a visit to London in October
Room clean & tidy, staff polite, breakfast was great, would recommend
all staff friendly, hotel clean and smart, food good, very nice lady in restaurant who made my sons birthday special and I think she was called Marvelous.
Great hotel close to everything just a tube ride away would definitely use again
Hotel and service good, room clean but quite small not a problem for one night though. Would probably stay there again, good to have parking. but
Friendly and professional staff and clean comfortable room. Upgraded from a standard to executive room for just £25. So close to the British museum and the tube. Will stay here again.
Hotel staff and room very pleasant
The hotel is extremely clean and the staff exceptionally helpful. The facilities around the hotel were excellent too. Just round the corner from Russell Square tube was convenient to escape the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Tubes run every 4 mins and The Brunswick Centre across the road allows you access to restaurants, a few shops and a Waitrose. The pub across the road also allows a different option for a late drink or two. All in all a fab weekend for e and my friend.
The hotel is right next to Russel Square tube station so perfectly located for the West End. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff and a really good breakfast buffet. All in all, a good choice.
Extremely impressed. Hotel staff all very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Breakfast was a huge choice and lots of it. Only a 20 minute walk from lyceum theatre.
Great location, very friendly staff, excellent concierge service from Gary. Rooms could be a bit more comfortable but we were three squeezed in to one room. Would definitely go back
Lovely room. I contacted the hotel direct because it was my husbands 50th and they put a lovey wine and a platter of fruit in room. Lovely friendly staff. Thanks.x
I booked a double room for my daughters birthday, on arrival she was given a twin room , I phoned the hotel and explained that I had booked a double room and wished for a room move after abit of a debate as to whether a double had been booked the receptionist sorted the room, when my daughter returned she was told no double rooms available another phone call made and no communication between the staff as phone all made only half a hour before. Finally sorted she was moved to what I can only describe as a shoebox and I had asked for something complimentary for the inconvience and she never received anything . Would I use this hotel no
Arrived early and was pleasantly surprised to find I could check in - although the room assigned to me was not ready the reception staff were very quick to find me a different room and offer me a complimentary drink. The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel was ideally placed with ease of access to the tube and within walking distance to main sight seeing areas
We were very pleased with the hotel. The location is excellent for access to London tourist attractions and has plenty of shops and restaurants in short walking distance. The staff were really attentive and helpful. The rooms were adequate and clean although the bathroom was small, particularly the bath itself (only big enough for children). The pub/ sports bar is very `blokeish` but there is the alternative of the lounge bar which is nice and peaceful. Overall I would recommend the hotel.
HOPING TO STAY THERE AGAIN SOON
Very thoughtful. As promised for my partner cake slice delivered to the room. Also quiet room as requested. Very helpful. Excellent location. Will definitely come back
The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was tiny. I had to step into the bath for a shower and my head touched the ceiling. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good and the hotel was in a great location. Not a bad hotel but there are better in the same area for the same money and for that reason i won`t stay here again.
Excellent staff. Courteous and helpful. Very clean. Very much does what it says. Would stay again.
Defo stay again. Walking distance to kings cross. Amazing room
Rooms need a revamp as outdated but it was clean. Reception and breakfast were very good.
