"GOOD PRICE FOR LOCATION"

Would stay here again. Comfortable and close to many Kensington venues. Note the check in time of 3pm as I think they probably stick to this. We were offered a room for an extra fee on arrival at 12.15 & declined. Luggage was stored safely for us whilst we headed off to sight see. Staff were attentive. Overall a good experience.

Very much enjoyed my Saturday night stay, clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was excellent, only down fall is queuing for 10 mins to get into the restaurant however it`s worth the wait. Close to High Street Kensington tube station, comfortable bed, the decor in the room is looking a little tired and I personally would have liked a shower robe. Overall 9/10 will be staying again, value for money for a London hotel.

"Wonderful experience"

The stay at this lovely hotel only increased the excitement and pleasure of attending the festival of Remembrance and Cenotaph Parade this weekend. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts set us up for the day. After marching and walking all day, the evening meal in the Buglis was most welcome, enabling us to eat early and rest our feet! Sadly, there was confusion with parking. On arrival I was asked by Doorman if I wanted to park outside, pay cash, or underground, pay by card. I chose the latter only to find on leaving that I should have registered the car at reception. I think a prominent sign in the car park would benefit others. Maybe, as a `country bumbkin`, I wasn`t savvy enough. Thank you for a most enjoyable weekend. Joan Hobbs. Haverigg. Cumberland.

"Good Comfortable Rooms and lively bar area"

Good comfortable rooms, bathroom could do with updating, but everything worked. Check in was lengthy even though the room had been paid for. Bar area was lively - made you want to go in and have a drink. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice, but chaotic with a lot of people in a small space.

"Train track right outside window"

The trains where running all night at 5 minute intervals and the Hotel was to far from the theatre. It cost £25.00 per night to park the car,£25.00 for the Taxi to the Theatre and then back again, we had 2 drinks in the hotel which cost £14.00 plus with the cost of the hotel and the theatre tickets and fuel cost for travel it was a very expensive and sleepless birthday present for a couple of hours entertainment(but could not fault the show it was fabulous).

"No rush to go back "

Nice and close to High Street Kensington tube station and the bed was comfortable but we weren`t sure why we had a third bed in our small bedroom as it was in the way . Breakfast is a bit like a cattle market with plenty of queuing to get into the dining room with luke warm breakfast , it seemed a fight to get the food. The toaster doesn`t toast . Tables and chairs in the dining room are far too close . Advise to go elsewhere .

"Another excellent stay"

I have now stayed at the Copthorne Tara on three separate occasions and have always been impressed by the service and the courtesy of the staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the beds are excellent and it provides an ideal base for working or site-seeing in London.

"3 star at best !"

Check in a bit chaotic, but it was busy ! Room smelled of smoke, picture on wall hanging at an angle had to take it down, light switches next to bed didn`t work, TV aerial lead not plugged in, noisy pointless fridge. Staff excellent, but hostel very tired, location was ok, probably won`t stay here again !

our breakfast although very busy your staff were on the ball so often the clearing of dirty plates leaves a lot to be desired but your staff were right on the button. The breakfast was pretty good to.

"Good location for train station and the Albert Hall"

Was a perfect location for attending the Royal Albert Hall and plenty of option re food, pub, wine bar within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Hotel was clean, friendly, helpful staff and `superior room` was fine for what we wanted. breakfast had good choices of meals, only criticism being the hot food was more warm than hot for our sitting time.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment. I had a very pleasant stay, room was comfortable and good for the prices offered, staff helpful and nice. One thing I would suggest is to clean the door connecting different parts of corridors. That was one unpleasant experience - having to touch the door with visible grime on it. Sorry I didn`t mention it when I was still there.

Room was not ready at 5pm when it should have been ready at 3pm. Wrong type of room when we eventually got in. Hotel was very busy and not enough staff on reception. Also not very experienced. Breakfast was very good.

"Room comfortable but noisy"

Room was comfortable and pleasant enough, noisy with both heating system (which we turned off, to then be cold) and outdoor noise, which was surprising due to status of hotel. Staff were ok, but breakfast was chaos - our table was cleared whilst getting breakfast, then struggled to get new hot drinks which had been removed.

"Bad nights sleep "

The hotel was lovely and staff polite, the room was basic. I was looking forward to a good nights sleep having left my 8month old son for the first time, infortunatly the bed was very uncomfortable with an annoying squeak everytime you moved, the pillows were to hard and not my liking and only having the option of a duvet wasn`t much choice at all. The buffet breakfast was nice although cold. I needed parking and it wasn`t an option to pre book with the hotel but I could with a parking company which was odd and more expensive

The bedrooms seemed a little tired, in need of a re-furbishment, not sure what made it superior! The bed was small, and the pillows very hard. However the breakfast was very good, and the staff polite and friendly.

"Superb value for money!!"

I spent one night there last night ( February 10th) lovely hotel, very friendly staff, good choice of bars and eateries within the hotel, and we had a superior twin room with buffet breakfast included with a huge choice of food... All for £103 for the night!! Next time I`m in London it`s my choice!!

Rooms OK but not brilliant. Stupidly positioned light above bed to hit head on. Plug in sink faulty and bathroom quite average - no flannels. Location and breakfast good.

This was our 5th visit this year. Very pleased with our 11th floor room. Liam in the club lounge looked after us superbly. Lovely breakfasts. Thank you so much.

"Could be better."

Liked the concise instructions about air-conditioning & heating in guest bedrooms. Did not like the small choice of items at buffet breakfast or the bar being rather austerely furnished. Staff, though, were helpful.

Overall very impressed but lots of hairs in shower and still not clean when redone Problem with key card on two occasions staff not that bothered even when we arrived and booking was not on system receptionist just laughed
