The only disappointment was that the temperature control in our room did not seem to work. We found it very warm and as the windows could not be opened either, our ability to sleep was made difficult. Other than that we were very pleased with the hotel.

Rooms shabby. Not a four star hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Copthorne Tara. Overall the stay was good but the breakfast on both days wasn`t hot - plenty of food and good service but unfortunately the food was on the cold side. Cold baked beans aren`t very appealing! Good location for getting up to the West End.

Very handy for the Royal Albert Hall, clean and adequately sized room, the thermostat in the room didn`t go low enough so quite warm

first rate hotel all staff extremely pleasant and helpful comfortable rooms seviced regularly . highly recomended

Hotel was nice enough however was given a standard double room not the superior double as booked./

overall not up to our previous experience. Room noisey, cluttered, insufficient milk for two (not up to 4* standard). Bed sheet did not fit, towels hard.. Décor sparse. Breakfast excellent, staff excellent. Would think twice about booking again! Sorry

Room clean but restaurant needs updating with more food choices. Few problems that were reported but staff not bothered or in a rush to rectify. Disabled parking available but was told to book and pay. Felt this was a ripoff.

My friend and I specifically booked a twin room but were allocated a double room which meant we had to return to reception with our luggage and request a change of room. Annoying. Breakfast was very busy and we had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table.

A good hotel, comfortable and friendly staff. Slightly worn fittings and could hear underground. However, very well located and overall excellent value for money.

Comfy room. Very busy at breakfast but plenty of staff so quick and attentive.

Overall very good, although the tube station was closed for maintenance during two of our three day stay. Nothing the hotel can do, but it took the gloss off it slightly. Good room, spacious and bright.

My only complaint is that the time on the Television clock and also in my friends room was still on Winter time so could cause a problem if one was relying on it . It needs sorting !!!!

Good location for weekend stay in London - 5min walk from High Street Kensington tube so easy access to West End etc. Hotel itself very good, reasonably priced, friendly efficient staff, nothing too much trouble. Good size superior double bedroom. Good choice of food at breakfast buffet in the mornings. We would definitely stay at this hotel again on a visit to London

Staff pleasant and helpful

Good place to stay as near theatre land. We had a couple of problems with the room. The lights fused but the hotel services quickly sent an electrician to fix them. There was also a small leak from the toilet that I reported to reception as we checked out. It did not upset our stay at the hotel.

Staff were very polite, attentive and responsive to requests. The room was clean and reasonably spacious and the shower was good. The walls were a bit thin and we could hear the people in the next door room, but this was a minor issue. The only disappointment was the breakfast. We are vegetarian and the only hot options were egg, beans and tomatoes. Hash browns mushrooms and vegetarian sausages would have been nice.
