We couldn`t have asked for better attention at this hotel. Our room was excellent and the reception staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They were well informed and were able to offer very good suggestions for places to eat. The hotel is close to Place Catalunya and Barcelona attractions, but provides a quiet hide away when rest is needed.

An exceptional hotel and a perfect location. Staff were extremely courteous and very helpful. The room was clean and not at all noisy considering its central position. I highly recommend the hotel and would definitely use it again.

Six friends age 50-65 enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was ideally placed for sightseeing, the tourist bus stopped outside. Rooms were spacious, linen changed every day, and rooftop pool had great views. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. We all agreed it was one of the best we had ever stayed in and would recommend it to all age groups. The d`Or bar across the road was great for a drink after sightseeing and our nightcaps! We will definitely go back to Barcelona and this hotel.

Excellent location, five minutes from the Rambalas with excellent bus service close to Hotel. Some traffic noise, but this is a vibrant city so you must expect some noise. I was very impressed with the city, history,shopping, good restaurants and plenty of Art and if you fancy a change walk down the Ramblas to the harbour and the beach, twentyfive minutes from the Hotel.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be near the centre of Barcelona. Eeveryone working there were helpful and friendly.

Room was very spacious with separate area for teenage son. Buffet breakfast very good. Central location which was ideal for Ramblas, city tour bus, restaurants etc Would stay here again

Hotel Jazz is less than 5 minutes from Placa Catalunya, it has a Metro stop about 20 metres from the front door. The Hotel itself is modern, the rooms are well appointed, and very clean. The lighting is well arranged, and includes a small bedside halogen reading lamp that is a terrific idea. The breakfasts at the hotel are of a high standard both cooked, and continential. There is a wide choice including fresh fruits and cereals. The staff were helpful and on our day of departure offered to store our bags without us even asking. There are newspaper in the lobby and restaurant, although you would need to have a grasp of either Spanish /Catalan , however if like me you want to keep up to date with football news, these proved useful, and anyway there are two PCs with internet access that guests can use close to the bar. All in all we were really delighted with hotel Jazz and wouldn`t hestitate to stay there again if, hopefully when, we return to Barcelona.

I have been to Barcelona 3 times , chose this hotel from recommendations I had read on Internet and they were all true to form. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone......visit and see for yourself.

The hotel was very well situated for those visiting the city for the first time, being very close to Las Ramblas and Playa Catalunya. It was well appointed with modern furnishings, very clean and comfortable and, despite its central location, quiet when it was time to get some sleep. The staff were polite and helpful, being ready to recommend a restaurant or two when needed! The breakfast menu was generous too. Definitely worth a visit!

Really good hotel, big modern rooms, friendly staff and a good selection at breakfast. Our expereince of Barcelona in general was great, but please be so careful when out and about - one of our group had her bag snatched at lightening speed. Our advice would be to leave bags back at the room or at least have one that you can wear over your body, preferably with a leather strap that can`t be cut.

This looks like a very new hotel, all fixtures and fittings were of top quality. Rooftop pool was very nicely laid out. Food prices were expensive - always ensure breakfast is included in the price of the night`s stay otherwise eating in the hotel will cost you plenty! Could not find any real fault with the place during our stay other than the radiator in the bathroom was far too hot and was not adjustable - but that is really nit-picking and should not prove decisive in electing to stay here or go elsewhere.

Hotel was of excellent standard and hygiene, prime location and lovely decor. Really disapointed when i left my mobile phone unattended in the bar for 5 minutes, which was empty other than 2 bar staff, when it wasn`t handed in. Staff were not helpful in the slightest.

Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms attractively and tastefully decorated with modern style. particularly liked lighting options, piped jazz music all round. Double bed was gigantic.. and very comfortable indeed. Roof terrace views spectacular..180 degrees sweep , including Cathedral, Montjuic, Olympic Park, etc. Pool available (a bit cold for us in February.. but others might be brave enough!) Situated at heart of shopping district, a lively central spot.. perfect!

Lovely modern, clean, friendly hotel. Great breakfast and bar facilities, and they serve earl grey tea! Will recommend to others.

Could not fault the hotel or staff. The rooms were excellent, large and comfortable with ample storage. breakfasts set you up for the day with a wide variety of choice. Prompt waiter attention. Location excellent for Metro and The Ramblas. Would certainly stay there again.

This is a cool hotel with well appointed rooms and public areas, attentive staff and a brilliant location within walking distance of all main city centre sights and close to Metro stations for getting that little bit further. I would definitely stay here again.
