Excellent hotel and facilities , very friendly staff who were very helpful . Lovely rooms, a very comfortable bed and very nice bathroom . Would highly recommend hotel .

Hotel was in great location, as we were attending Proms in the Park. Staff were extremely friendly both on Reception and when just meeting them in lifts etc. Room very clean with fantastic views over London. Island Grill was very good and breakfast on both days was excellent. A great hotel and well recommended

What a lovely surprise to have such an excellent room with brilliant views of hyde park and beyond - , first class staff and a wonderful retreat after a day in the sun in Hyde Park watching the rolling stones.

Optional service charge was taken off at the breakfast table when signing bill. When checking out we were first asked to donate - not good! Then asked if the only extra was the two breakfasts, yes. Paid the bill, receipt was folded, placed in envelope and sealed. Going out the door my wife opened the envelope to check the bill..discovered the "optional" service charge had been added back in. Then slight problem getting amended bill. Not good ending to otherwise nice overnight. We are both very experienced business travellers.

After searching with several other company`s we decided to book with Hotels direct, they were by far the cheapest and thoroughly efficient. I received a txt before our stay confirming check in times and dates etc and also an email to say they had contacted our hotel to confirm our booking! A fantastic touch!! I would definitely reccomend using them and will always check there deals first in future. Thank you for a top service.

Great stay, upgraded on arrival as a double had been booked instead of the requested twin. Lovely staff, friendly atmosphere despite being a larger hotel, would definitely stay again.

Excellent breakfasts with a wide choice and a good outlook over Hyde Park from restaurant. Room good and clean, comfortable bed.

We unfortunately only stayed one night, we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Great that check in was 2pm and check out midday. Would recommend the hotel. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful hotel,the staff are exceptional, concierge laszlo and doorperson sebastien are excellent, they could not do enough for me as a single woamn travelling alone.Everybody was very courteous and helpful, one night I wanted to do room service rather than sit in the restaurant and from the bar I ordered food from the Island restaurant,not really allowed but they could see I was very tired and just needed to chill,so they think out of the box` and will do whatever they can to help, front desk staff are extremely good, all in all a good experience with this hotel, I would highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Overall, I enjoyed the stay. The staff was particularly attentive, responsive and helpful. The public areas, including the restaurants were all of high quality. The room was very small by U.S. standards for a similarly priced hotel, but that was an expected inconvenience. The even smaller size of the bathroom went beyond inconvenience to impractical. I am an average size person; 6 feet tall and 165 pounds. A heated towel bar was located in front of the toilet. My knees hit the towel bar so that I could not sit facing forward and had to sit sideways. We had two rooms because we were a family of four traveling together. Only one of our two rooms had this problem. We later learned that the odd numbered rooms on one side of the hall had bathrooms approximately one foot smaller than even numbered rooms on the other side of the hallway. Ask for an even numbered room on the east side of the building.

Two of us stayed for two nights in a twin bed en-suite room which was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very warm and welcoming feel making our weekend most enjoyable. My only criticism is that for some reason the wi-fi is not free (I thought it was in most establishments these days) otherwise we had a lovely stay.

I considered requesting a move but our stay was only one night. The room was small and the bathroom simply too small. To use the loo involved manoeuvring and fixtures were very tired. Mink bar had coke and water in it and we were concerned the rest if the contents (detailed in the room service tariff) would be charged to us. On enquiry we were told that was normal. So it wasn`t a mini bar after all? Sorry, can`t pretend we were happy. We were offered an upgrade on checking in but it was £90 for one night, I now realise why it was offered but £90 was too much.

The hotel was amazing in every shape and form. the view was amazing. i am a little disappointed as i made a special request several days before attending the hotel but no one got back to me.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable although you could tell that it was two singles zipped together as there was a large ridge in the middle of the bed. Island restaurant excellent. We had two lovely meals there and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Only stayed one night for proximity to Paddington Station. Room clean and adequate. Excellent breakfast included. Staff very friendly. Great choice for purpose of stay.

Rooms comfortable; staff helpful - reception dealt with the fact that I had inadvertently booked twice to my best financial advantage and this seeems to be part of the hotel philosophy. Restaurants serve decent food ( no grit in the spinach, one of my touchstones). A few minor faults: 1. Cold tap in my 13th floor bathroom on occasion ran hot and wouldn`t go cold; 2. If the hotel`s 10 beehives produce all that honey, why don`t we see any of it at breakfast - preferably set, not runny?; 3. Not quite enough light attenuation at noght, especially as the TV glows spookily (and can`t be unplugged).

Great location and a very good hotel

We went to the hotel to celebrate my husband`s 50th birthday. The staff offered us the chance to upgrade to a suite and also sent complimentary champagne.We had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel, especially if you are attending a concert at the Albert Hall ,which we were.

I am 6` 2" tall and found that there was very limited leg room when using the toilet.

Had a few issues with the room, which were sorted out in the end but there wasn`t a rush to do it, Very disappointed with the hotel in general though I just expected more!!

The hotel was amazing and the staff were very helpful and polite. When we arrived at the hotel the car park was Full and had to walk 15 minutes up the road to park the car, which I was not happy about. Good job it wasn`t raining, but we did have to pull our suitcases through the snow to the car park where we parked the car. Will stay at this Hotel again, Highly Recommended, let`s hope they sort their Car Park out!

Can`t fault the services and quality on offer.

Very comfortable, only critisism was price of a Baileys in the first floor bar. Thought £8.30 for single a bit excessive. Would stay again though.
