Room was clean, bed comfortable. Grateful for the air conditioning which you could control in your own room. Service was reasonable but the breakfast was quite disappointing. Overall not too bad for the price in that area of London
Poor breakfast. I became ill after eating.
The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spotless and the location is great. I will stay here again. Do not expect good wifi for your laptop (use your smart phone) otherwise all is great at the Bayswater Inn. Jack Whytock
Awoke on our third day stay to no cold water. Couldn`t have a shower, clean our teeth or flush the loo. Rang the front desk and was fobbed off with "Our maintenance man doesn`t start until 9 o,clock". By now hot water had packed up as well.Rang again and got a "We are working on it". Gave up eventually packed and went down to reception. Asked for a refund on my bill and was told that`s not possible. A disgraceful last day.
good value. would use again
The room, bathroom and corridors were smelly and suffocated. Quality of room furniture was low but the washroom was more pathetic. The reception wasn`t responding the room phone. I will not recommend this hotel to stay.
We were pleased to be able to leave our luggage early. Room adequate for one night break in London. Breakfast very good. Staff pleasant.
Excellent staff very helpful front desk ladies ,good looking reception .upstairs halls and landings need lick of paint.Great location for royal Albert hall.would stay again.
When we arrived , the staff what checked us in were lovely we got a fab room ,spotless ,lovely breakfast ,in a great area for getting to the theatre and sights of London .would go back to this hotel .
Questo hotel è pulitissimo, rinnovato di recente, il personale molto cordiale ed è situato tra due stazioni della metro. Ottimo per famiglia, noi eravamo in 4 in una bella stanza con quattro letti. Buon prezzo qualità
Accommodation and staff excellent. the room was very comfortable. The only downside was breakfast, which was appalling. Poor quality food badly prepared. The toast was good. But you did that yourself!!
Economy hotel;fine for a couple of nights but rather tired decor in need of refurbishment. Adequate breakfast (toaster needs replacing burnt my fingers twice! Very nice staff.
Room was average, clean, although beds were extremely noisy, we had a quad room and everytime someone moved in the night it woke everyone else up. The breakfast was the most disappointing I have ever experienced at a hotel. There was no bacon (which is a staple part of a full english breakfast), the only option for eggs was scrambled. No napkins, No Brown sauce, no fresh water. Very disappointed indeed, will not be staying at the hotel again.
Nice location close to Kensington Gardens with many places within walking distance; staff were very helpful & friendly; room was comfortable; managed to leave bags after check-out for £2.
Good for price but could do with a bit of sprucing Up of paintwork upstairs. Bath ran very slowly But lots of hot water eventually. Bed comfy. Good choice at breakfast but scrambled egg not very warm.
A little disappointed there was no bacon accompanying the cooked breakfast but food good the croissants were lovely and fresh.
Very nice and modern Hotel with warm welcoming staff, very clean, excellent Breakfast and central to all London offers
Had booked a family room but due to electrical problems they had to give us two double rooms instead next to each other.they were most apologetic, but it couldn`t be helped.very good would stop here again
We had booked a room for 3 but in fact on arrival we had 4 single beds in our room which was adequate for our needs. Slightly disappointed that there was no pork sausages or bacon on the English breakfast menu - after all, we are in Britain. If it offends someone then they shouldn`t choose it (or go home). Loved the hotel and would definitely go back again. Perhaps a way to solve the pork problem would be to have both pork and beef sausages available.
Whilst having to work in London, travelling to and from the coast daily become tedious therefore, we like to stay over the odd night to save getting up in the middle of the night to commute into the capital. Well, what a fabulous find !! Such a great location for us and we found the stay faultless !!
The hotel was very nice and in a lovely location. The room had everything we needed, the only thing was air condition, room was too hot. other then that was a lovely stay and would recomend.
Rubbish hotel. Poor quality rooms, breakfast was disgusting, well if you can call it breakfast. And I know they are renovating, but builders banging outside at 7am is not on. Would rather sleep on the streets and eat out of a bin than go back there!!
Nice clean and friendly hotel. Had everything we needed in few mins from tube station and a five minute walk to the most beautiful Kensington park and the princess Diana manorial playground and fountain etc. Would recommend xx
The hotel was very noisy right through the night and breakfast was terrible, We went else where to eat, the only positive was the room, bathroom and shower that were clean and nice, and the staff were friendly
small room clean and tidy breakfast average
The hotel is very well placed for visiting London and the Royal Albert Hall. Staff are friendly, helpful and the hotel is very clean, Breakfast is pretty good. My ONLY complaint was that our room was extremely hot due to the radiator being on probably for a long time and it could not be turned off as the knob was broken. We didn`t say anything to reception (maybe we should have said something) however the room was stifling, very uncomfortable and probably very unhealthy to be like that. It was SO HOT. It was a real shame because apart from that the hotel was very good. That is why it did not get an excellent. I would stay there again as long as we don`t get a basement floor room
We were in a room in the basement and it seemed to get really hot. I found a fan in the wardrobe when we 1st got there and joked to my partner why would we need it. Turns out we used it both nights we stayed. Front desk staff friendly excellent location. 2 mins walk from Hyde park.
I was in a single basement room, bathroom very cramped, television channels limited to BBC as all others suffered bad interference. Badly in need of redecorating. Otherwise room was clean and warm. Breakfast adequate .
The refurbished room was good, breakfast was ok.
For a 3* hotel it was of a high standard. We were upgraded on arrival ( not sure why)The room was adequate size and bathroom was lovely. We had a lovely view of local park too. The buffet breakfast was of a high standard too. I will definitely re-visit the hotel on my next trip.
Hotel was a bit further out than we thought. Room was clean but our room was right next to the lift and was very noisy all through the early hours
No tv shower was dirty and with no hot water
The room was fine and larger than some single rooms. The breakfast was dissapointing - no fresh fruit, no proper muesli or other wholegrain cereal - cornflakes and ricecrispies only on offer! The coffee from the machine was clearly made from powdered instant coffee. When I am working in town I need a decent breakfast to get me through to lunchtime!
We stayed at the Bayswater Inn as a family of three, 2 adults and a 13 yearold. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast had an excellent choice to suit everyone. I would definately stay here again.
Bed was horrible and uncomfortable the breakfast was advertised as full English but contained no bacon and was cheap produce
Excellent hotel, helpful / friendly staff.great variety for breakfast enjoyed our stay with no complaints .
Room was very nice and clean. 4th floor good. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, cutlery and plates running out. Toaster broken which made a long queue for a smaller one. Need to have a Manager to oversee this, as staff seemed to be out of their depth. Reception staff very pleasant
Comfortable bed - good breakfast
Nice location, less than 10 mins walk from Bayswater or Queensway tube stations. Room was spotless, though a little on the small side, not much room to turn around in. Fire alarms went off twice in the early hours, which was a bit annoying. Breakfast wasn`t the best (cheap, poorer quality sausages), but acceptable, and a fair bit of choice (cereals, yogurts, croissants, tinned fruit as well as toast, beans, tomatoes, sausages and scrambled egg). Late checkout 12 noon. Luggage store available for £1 per case/bag.
