Superb location, very central for shopping, restaurants and bars and sightseeing bus stops. Hotel has pleasant spacious reception area and a large restaurant. The buffet breakfast was excellent, although tea and coffee could have been warmer. Bedroom and en suite were very clean and bed very comfortable. The room was a good size with double glazed windows and although we were at the back of the hotel with a lane below, we did not experience any noise problems. Staff were all pleasant and friendly. Would definately return to this hotel and would also recommend to others.

Friendly staff,good range of breakfast,mini bar prices a bit high. Use the A1 bus to the airport much cheaper than a taxi.Great location for seeing the city sights though.You can walk to the sea front or the shopping areas.

Can`t praise this hotel enough. Have been to Barcelona several times and have always been disappointed in the hotels we have stayed at. The Montblanc offered quality accommodation at a very reasonable price. The family room we occupied was clean and spacious and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. There`s a good cold buffet breakfast with plenty of choice or alternatively you can order a hot breakfast from the menu. The hotel is only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Playa de Cataluyna plus it has a small pool and outside terrace. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

room, breakfast and service were good. decor was lovely especially bar and restaurant. also enjoyed the terrace very much. however was disappointed that having booked at a hotel with pool it was not in use till the day before we left

The hotel is in a good location, close to Las Ramblas. Whilst the hotel is clean, the rooms are very small and not really as described in the brochure. Also, the options for food, both in terms of room service and the restaurant were very limited.

Room was clean and comfotable but far too hot.Service at bar could have been more prompt in some instances.

Hotel very clean throughout, rooms spacious with good facilities and although is graded as a 3 star, is worthy of at least a 4 star rating. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

I was concerned as I had booked from the internet before and was disappointed. This hotel was excellent and with good and friendly staff. The location is excellent and only 5 minutes from the centre. The hotel is clean and offer excellent service and breakfat if included. I have no complaints at all as it met my needs perfectly. I would recommend to other potential guests. Ash (England)

Staff friendly and organised! Fridge,but no tea or coffee making facility in room! Clean with first-class breakfast facilities and great room cleaning staff! You will be pleased if you book this hotel.

The Montblanc Hotel was excellent. Very clean rooms with fresh linen every day. Wonderful. The breakfasts, although advertised as continental, were absolutely brilliant. There was even a cooked breakfast for the asking and everything was beautifully presented. The only down side, I would say, was that in the first two days there was a very strong smell of sewage in the lobby and bar area. We did ask about it but didn`t really get any real explanation, but it did settle after a couple of days. But all in all we would certainly go back. J. Thomson

Overall a nice hotel, however if you are stuck at the back of the hotel it is very noisy in the alleyways. Also, the beds are very uncomfortable. But the hotel itself is in a great location.
