My only complaint was i had contacted the paramount the week leading up to my departure and requested a "ROOM ON THE LESS BUSY SIDE" but once we had booked in that`s exactly where we were put. Aprt from that everything else eas excellent.
The Paramount double rooms are much smaller than the rooms shown in the brochure, but are functional and comfortable. Be aware though, that Fridays & Saturday nights are extremely noisey due to the club & bar that is directly underneath the hotel. There was plenty of choice at breaksfast, and the coffee was fresh and hot. The other benefit is that breakfast is served until 10.30 at weekends. Overall, the hotel was an adequate 3star, and in a good location close to the Temple Bar area. The other thing to be aware of, is that a deposit of 100 euro`s is required on arrivaql, payable by either cash or credit card. We and others were not aware of this until our arrival, but luckily we had a credit card with us. The hotel does not accept switch or Maestro.
Paramount was an excellent Hotel, we enjoyed Dublin- see you again!!
All 8 of us enjoyed our weekend in the Paramount but we did find it very noisy on Fri and Sat night. Our rooms would have benefited from double glazing and better lighting.
service good, rooms comfortable, breakfasts very good
Really enjoyed our stay at The Paramount - excellent location and lovely rooms. Would defo. return.
Really friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Super hotel for a week end break. Breakfast OK and endless coffee/ tea at breakfast . I will be back.
Clean & comfortable. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Super location on the western fringe of the vibrant Temple Bar area but with no double glazing and rattly old sash windows, we found it very hard to sleep through the night. Adjacent streets were extremely noisy due to hordes drinking in the streets outside bars all around the hotel, until 3am. Then the street sweeper lorries roared and beeped up down in the small hours to clear the street litter left by the many hundreds of street drinkers in the pedestrianised streets. Delivery trucks arrived to service local shops around 6am or 7am. And ambulances constanty wailed their sirens all day and night along the road beside the Liffey, at the end of the block. The hotel decor was shabby but our room was otherwise adequate. Overall, it was a high price for a sub-standard experience. Nearly all hotel staff seemed to be Eastern Europeans on a work experience visit.
rooms facing the main street could do with double glazing as the noise throughout the night is sometimes unbearable and stops you from sleeping, but otherwise an excellent hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone.
A nice clean hotel, sharp design throughout and reasonably priced. Staff were truely accomodating and friendly. Location would not suit all during hectic Dublin nights but excellent otherwise for city centre delights. 8/10
Excellent hotel in the midst of the evening/night entertainment. Great if you`re a night owl!
Had a brilliant stay the hotel and the staff were fantastic. Loved the room very clean and comfortable. I would definately stay here again.
This is a very good centrally situated hotel, the staff are very helpful room and breakfast good. If you want a good nights sleep I would not recommend this hotel the noise from people in the street in the bar opposite goes on until the early hors
The room was standard for a three star hotel and it was extremely noisy outside over the weekend but the breakfast was fab and we really liked the bar downstairs.
Good size, clean rooms. Staff very helpful. Excellent cooked breakfast, with top - ups of toast if required. Only down side was slight street noise.
Great Location, Great Welcome, Great Staff, Great Stay . . . If your looking for a quiet little place away from the lively entertainment of Temple bar, then look elsewhere, as this hotel is right on top of it . Superb rooms (albeit no aircon) and service from the staff was friendly and helpful. I would Recommend this hotel anytime.
It was rather expensive and a little scruffy and noisy. The breakfast staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel was in a perfect position for Temple Bar and within walking distant to all other attractions. We had a room at the back of the hotel not a good view but was probably a lot quieter than the front as apparently it gets very noisy at night!! The hotel itself was clean and staff very friendly and helpful.
Our whole stay at the Paramount was fantastic. Five of us stayed there for my hen party and we could not have wished for a more central location. Also, for the whole stay, the staff at the hotel were only too pleased to help with anything that they could. The hotel is clean and the decor is fresh throughout. The breakfast was excellent and the overall price of the stay was good value for money. However, the only downside was that if your room was located `street side` the rooms were a little noisy. We requested a room on the other side of the hotel and these were fine, no noise from the street could be heard at all. I`d definately stay at the hotel again. In fact, I`m planning a trip back there with my new husband very soon!
Great location. Staff are very helpfull carnt do enough for you. Breakfast excellant value for the money. Rooms a bit hot.
I was really impressed with the location of the hotel and it was really easy to find using public transport. I thought the food was amazing, the breakfasts were of big portions and i like the eating area as it was really quirky. The staff were friendly and i thought checking out time at 2pm was excellent. Would reccomend this hotel to a friend!
EXCELLANT HOTEL, VERY MODERN AND CLEAN THE SERVICE AND STAFF WAS FANTASTIC , AND VERY HELP FULL, THE LOCATION IS SPOT ON FOR A GREAT TIME NEAR TEMPLE BAR NIGHT LIFE.. WILL BE CALLING BACK VERY SHORTLY. ALL IN ALL A FANTASTIC WEEKEND.
The hotel is ideally located for Temple Bar and is just a short walk to Grafton Street and O`Connel Street. The room was clean albeit a little warm which meant that we had to keep the window open and so suffered a little with traffic noise. However this was only a minor irritation and didn`t spoil the stay. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. Based on our experience we would recommend this hotel.
Room was adequate, nice bathroom and breaksfast was lovely. Hotel can be noisy as over its own pub/club which stays open into the early hours but this is not a major issue and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
very lively area which was perfect for a young couple lik ourselfs, shopping areas were only a short walk away but be warned take a map as all the little lanes and side streets can be confusing, lots of restaurants to choose from around hotel although id advise to saty clear of hard rock cafe we went there on our first night and the waitress was more concerned about finishing her shift instead of doin her job, not a gd experience and for the money your payin lets just say its wasnt worth it. The paramount recommends two restaurants in there welcome pack, cant remember the names but i would defiantely recommend you go there
With a location on the outskirts of Temple Bar this was an ideal hotel from which to explore the local pubs and restaurants. As you might expect, the area can be quite noisy until late into the night but we were on a stag night so weren`t too bothered. Rooms are clean and tidy and staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast great too!
Friendly staff. Accomadation is of a goodstandard. Actually booked a thrid visit
We enjoyed our stay at the Paramount Hotel. Extreamly comfortable rooms. The Only fault was the view over the waste ground opposite where drug addicts would jump over the fence and inject themselves which was very upsetting and a problem the hotel and police should look into.
Fabulous location and good value - but give the breakfast a miss if you can
Friendly staff, decent breakfast, room was very warm and not so outside, maybe it could get really hot if teh weather was nice. Overall very good, and would recommend
Nice hotel, staff really helpful. Noisy on Saturday night but wonderful location. Just up the road from Templebar and great pub and nightclub in the hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Room was good with nice bathroom etc.
The hotel is good value for money and in a great location. Staff were very friendly and couldn`t do enough to help. The room was clean, large and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was of a good standard. The only down side was that we had a room overlooking the main road, so it was very noisy during the night.
Music was played at an extremely high level through until 2.30am, even during the week days which could be heard through the floor boards. Also, the shower didn`t work. This spoilt what would have been, otherwise, a very nice, comfortable and clean hotel in a very good location.
