Hotel and location:

The 3* Z Hotel City is located in the heart of London, offering easy access to many of the city`s famous sites. With both Blackfriars and Temple Underground stations within a 10-minute walk from the hotel, transport links are quickly reached. Nestled within London`s famous Fleet Street, Prince Henry`s Room is just a few doors down, where one of the few surviving buildings of the Great Fire of London in 1666 can be seen. Immediately behind the hotel is Temple Church, built by the Knights Templar, while the Royal Courts of Justice and beginning of the Strand lie just a 2-minute walk away. With The Strand so close, many of London`s theatres are just a stone`s throw away, while the centre of Covent Garden is just 10 minutes away on foot for markets, cafes and street performers. Well known sites such as the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament can be seen after a leisurely 25-minute stroll across Waterloo Bridge and along the Southbank, or after a 10-minute tube journey if the weather isn`t at its best. Trafalgar Square and the National Portrait Gallery are just 20 minutes` walk away at the opposite end of The Strand, while the shopping opportunities of Oxford Street can be found after half an hour by foot, or 15 minutes by tube. For the iconic scenes of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Although not officially rated, Hotel Direct has visited the property and would class it of a 3-star deluxe to 4-star standard and perfect for a short stay in London.
