The 4* Hotel Indigo Stratford Upon Avon which opened in 2019 offers contemporary style within a 16th century building. Surrounded by the wealth of history that the town has to offer this hotel is ideal for visitors wishing to stay within walking distance of the world-famous landmarks. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the Swan Theatre on the banks of the River Avon are just 4 minutes walk from the hotel. The visitors centre at Shakespeare`s birth place is only 6 minutes walk away. Guests wishing to explore the surrounding area will find the medieval Warwick Castle less than 10 miles/20 minutes drive from the hotel. The town also has many cafes, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance to suit all tastes and budgets.

Room and hotel facilities:

The 93 rooms at the 4* star Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon are spread across the original 16th century building and the Georgian and modern contemporary wings of the property which was totally renovated and opened in 2019. As is the style of Indigo Hotels, alongside the buildings original features, rooms have individual styles as well as comfy Hypnos beds, 40" flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and Nespresso machines. The ensuite spa inspired bathrooms include bathrobes, hairdryers and complimentary toiletries. Rooms in the modern wing are fully air-conditioned and have access by lift. PLEASE NOTE: Rooms in the Tudor & Georgian Wings of the hotel do not have lift access. During their stay guests have use of the Fitness Centre which is open from 6am-10pm. The Woodsman restaurant located in the hotel`s Georgian Wing is open from 6.30am-10pm serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The adjacent Falcon Tea Rooms serves traditional Afternoon Tea and in the evenings is transformed to become a Champagne and Cocktail Bar.
