The hotel is also 20 minutes on foot or 7 minutes by taxi from York Railway Station, so ideal for leisure of business travellers. The JORVIK Viking Centre, an interactive family friendly attraction is just 6 minutes walk from the hotel and the National Railway Museum, which is free to enter, is approximately 20 minutes walk. The Shambles, a preserved Elizabethan street with many unusual shops and tea rooms is just 7 minutes walk from the hotel. York Minster, the city`s cathedral is approximately 15 minutes walk.
