Edinburgh Castle is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel, at the top of the Royal Mile, a series of streets leading to Holyrood Palace. Princes Street, the city`s prime shopping location, is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel and also has plenty of restaurants and bars. This area is also home to the Scottish National Gallery and St Giles Cathedral both a short walk away.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Edinburgh Waverley Station walk south towards Market Street and turn right onto Market Street. Turn left onto Fleshmarket Cl. Take the stairs down and then turn left onto Cockburn St. Turn left onto High Street and then right onto Hunter Square. Make a right turn onto Blair Street for the hotel entrance.
BY CAR: Heading north-west on M74 exit at Junction 5 taking the A715 to Bellshill/Coatbridge/East Kilbride/Edinburgh/A8. After03 miles at the roundabout, take the 5th exit onto the A725 slip road to Coatbridge/Bellshill/Edinburgh/M8. After 0.5 miles merge onto Bellshill Bypass/A725 and after 2.4 miles use the left lane to merge onto M8 via the slip road to E?burgh. Merge onto M8 and continue for the next 20.1 miles. Keep right to stay on M8 and continue for a further 9.5 miles. At Hermiston Gait Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A71 slip road to Edinburgh West/City Centre/Kilmarnock/West Calder. After 0.2 miles keep left, following signs for Edinburgh West/City Centre/Kilmarnock/West Calder. At Calder Jct, take the 1st exit onto Calder Rd/A71. After 0.5 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Calder Rd/A71. After 0.4 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Calder Rd/A71. After a further 0.5 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Calder Rd/A71. Continue to follow A71 for 1 mile and then turn left onto Balgreen Rd. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Stevenson Rd. Continue onto Westfiled Road and then onto W Approach Rd. After 1.5 miles turn left onto Lothain Rd and then right onto Castle Terrace. At the roundabout take the 1st exit and stay on Castle Terrace. Turn left onto Lady Lawson St and then turn left at the 1st cross street onto West Port. After 0.1 miles continue onto Grassmarket and at the roundabout continue straight onto Cowgate. After 0.2 miles turn right onto Guthrie St and then left onto Chambers St. Turn left again onto South Bridge/A7 and after 0.1 miles turn left onto Blair St and the hotel will be on the right.
