The 4* Wellington Hotel by Blue Orchid features 84 spacious rooms, decorated in a contemporary style and fully air-conditioned with plenty of in-room amenities including; LCD flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, in-room safe, tea & coffee making facilities, work desk, hairdryer and mini bar. All rooms have marble ensuite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. During their stay, guests have complimentary use of the hotel`s 24-hour gym. Breakfast is served daily from 7am-10am Monday to Saturday and from 8am-10.30am on Sundays. Guests can choose to dine in two restaurants, the hotel`s Italian themed restaurant (open for lunch Monday-Friday and Dinner all week) or The Rochester Vegan Brasserie (open all day Monday to Friday and for lunch Saturday and Sunday) both of which offer a wide and varied menu to suit all appetites. PLEASE NOTE:£100 security deposit is payable on check in. It is refundable on the date of departure.

Hotel and location:

The 4* Wellington Hotel by Blue Orchid in a peaceful location overlooking Vincent Square, is within easy walking distance of popular tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey are both less than 15 minutes walk from the hotel and Tate Britain at Millbank is 12 minutes away. For guests attending a performance at either Victoria Palace Theatre or Apollo Victoria Theatre the hotel is less than 10 minutes walk. St James` Park tube station on the District & Circle line is 7 minutes walk from the hotel and a 3 minute journey/ 2 stops to Embankment station which is within walking distance of Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and London`s Theatreland. Victoria railway station, which is also the entrance to the underground Victoria Line, is 8 minutes walk from the hotel. From there it is 2 stops to Oxford Circus and London`s world-famous Oxford Street, home to Selfridges department store as well as many designer and high street brands.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From any main line London railway station take the Underground to St James` Park which is on the District & Circle Line. Upon exiting St James` Park station walk west on Victoria Street towards Palmer Street and then turn left onto Artillery Row. Follow this road which turns onto Rochester Row. After 0.1 miles make a left turn onto Vincent Square, turn right to stay on Vincent Square and you will be at the hotel. FROM VICTORIA STATION walk eat towards Wilton Road and then right onto Wilton Road. Make a left onto Neathouse Place and then right onto Vauxhall Bridge Road. Continue for 0.2 miles and then turn left onto Hatherley Street, continue onto Vincent Square and the hotel will be on your left.
BY ROAD: From the M4 head South East on Great West Road/A4. At the Hogarth Roundabout the exit onto Great West Road Chiswick/A4 and continue for 2.5 miles. Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right towards Earls Court Road/A3220. After 0.1 miles use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto Earls Court Road/A3220. Continue straight on to stay on this road for the next 1.5 miles and then onto Cheyne Walk/A3212. After 0.4 miles turn left onto Royal Hospital Road/B302 and after 0.6 miles continue onto Pimlico Road. After 0.3 miles continue onto Ebury Bridge and at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Warwick Way. After 0.3 miles turn left onto Guildhouse Street and then right onto Longmoore Street. After 0.1 miles turn right onto Upper Tachbrook Street and then left onto Warwick Way. Continue onto Rochester Row/B324 and after 0.1 miles turn right onto Vane Street, take a left into Vincent Square and the hotel will be on your left.
