Approximately 4.5 miles from the city centre and with its own car park, this area has plenty to offer visitors including Techniquest, the interactive science centre which is just 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Mermaid Quay, a 6-minute walk away, is a vibrant waterfront location packed with shops, bars and restaurants, many with outside seating to suit every occasion. From here buses run to Cardiff City Centre, a 20-minute journey for visitors wishing to visit Cardiff Castle, for a performance at St David`s Hall or an event at the Principality Stadium.

Getting there:

BY CAR: Heading east on the M4, take the Junction 17 exit A429/A350 for Chippenham/Cirencester. At Stanton St Quintin, take the 5th exit onto M4 slip road to Bristol/S. Wales. After 0.6 miles merge onto M4 and continue on for the next 22 miles. Keep right at the fork to stay on M4 for the next 24 miles. Keep left at the fork to continue on A48(M), follow signs for Cardiff(E&S)/Caerdydd(DN&D) after 2.5 miles continue onto Eastern Avenue/A48 for a further 2.4 miles. Take the A4232 exit towards Cardiff/Caerdydd(DN)/Docks/Dociau and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Southern Way/A4161/A4232 and keep right to stay on this road. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Rover Way and after 1.5 miles at the next 2 roundabouts take the 2nd exit again to stay on Rover Way. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Ocean Way and then almost immediately take the 1st exit at Queens Gate Roundabout towards Docks/Dociau/Porth Teigr/Glannau?r Briifddinas. Turn right onto Pierhead Street and then right again onto Bute Place. Continue straight on and then turn left onto Bute Street, which continues onto New George Street. Making a slight left this street becomes Stuart Street then turn left onto Havannah Street. After 0.2 miles enter the roundabout and the hotel will be on your left.
FROM CARDIFF AIRPORT: Head north on Tredogan Road and at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A4226. After 1 mile at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Port Road/A4226 and after 1.1 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Port Road W/A4226. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Port Road/A4050 and then after 1.5 miles at the next 2 roundabouts take the 1st exit to stay on this route. After 1.8 miles at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A4232 slip road to A4160/Cardiff Centre/Canol Caerdydd/Penarth and then merge onto A4232. After 5.3 miles take the exit towards Techniquest/Museum/Amgueddfa and then at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Stuart Street and then almost immediately turn right onto Havannah Street. After 0.2 miles enter the roundabout and the hotel will be on your left.
