Getting there:

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take the Aircoach Bus in the direction to the city centre/Ballsbridge and get off at the School House Hotel. When you get off the bus go down the footway next to the School House Hotel. The School House Hotel will be on your right and the canal will be on your left. Follow this way for about 100 m, and then turn right. After 50 m you will see the Grand Canal Hotel to your left.
BY CAR FROM AIRPORT: Drive towards the City centre (take the M1 which will turn into the N1). After you have crossed the Canal take the fifth turn left onto Gardiner Street Upper, at the end of Gardiner Street Lower you need to take a left (behind Customs House), stay in the right hand lane and cross the river Liffey, then turn left onto Townsend Street, Cross Pearse Street onto Sandwith Street Upper and then turn left onto Hogan Street which will turn into Grand Canal Street Lower. After crossing the Grand Canal you will find the hotel on the right hand side.
By DART: Get out of the DART station - Grand Canal Dock. When you are leaving the station turn right. You will see the Grand Canal Hotel in front of you after 50 m.
