Each of the 131 rooms and suites at the Macdonald Bath Spa hotel are luxuriously decorated and many have views across the beautiful gardens. The historic Roman Baths are a 20 minute walk from the hotel and for those looking to experience the baths for themselves, the Thermal Spa is a further 5 minutes` walk. Bath is a very walkable city and visitors will find plenty of Georgian architecture to admire, including the famous Royal Crescent. There are also many restaurants, bars and independent shops to choose from.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Bath Spa Station exit by the main entrance and cross at the crossing onto Manvers Street. After 0.2 miles turn right onto North Parade and take the stairs down. Turn left at the bottom and continue along to a right turn onto Bathwick Hill. Turn left again and them after 0.2 miles turn right onto Sydney Street and the hotel will be on the right. Alternatively a taxi from the station should take 5 minutes.
BY CAR: From the M4, exit at junction 17 and follow signs for the A350 signposted to Chippenham and Cirencester and exit onto the A4/Bath Road. Continue on the A4 to Bath, at the first roundabout take the first exit onto London Road W/A4, turn left onto Cleveland Place and continue onto Bathwick Street, take a slight right turn onto Sydney Place A36 then turn left onto Sydney Place, finally turn right and the hotel is on the left.
