Getting there:
Leeds City centre coach station is the nearest National express coach station to Leeds Bradford airport. You can catch a bus from the adjacent bus station to the airport.
Getting around:
Leeds has a very good system of public transport via independent bus operators. Most main routes have a 10 minute, or more frequent service during the business day. The independent bus operators are operated through MetroLine.
Tipping:
10-15% is normal in cabs and restaurants (where a service charge is usually included in your bill).

Travelling to Leeds

Flights
Leeds Bradford International Airport
Flights into Leeds Bradford International Airport are serviced by the Metroconnect 757 bus service which arrives at Leeds City Bus Station in central Leeds. The journey time is 55 minutes. From Leeds City Bus Station you can take the MetroTrain to any Leeds destination.

Train
Leed's mainline station is very central. From here you can connect to the city's bus and metro network. To find out prices and timetables, visit National Rail.

Car
If bringing a car into Leeds, please be aware not many hotels have on-site parking and those that have do not offer free parking.

Metro

Bus

Taxi
Unlike London, you cannot just `hail` a cab in Leeds. There are however, a number of taxi ranks throughout Leeds main tourism areas where you can get a taxi.
