History of Wicked
Based on the spin-off novel by Gregory Maguire of the original L Frank Baum novel and 1939 movie "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", Wicked started its life on Broadway in 2003 before opening in London in 2006 for previews and opening fully during 2007. The current London run is taking bookings all the way through to April 2012.
