Room excellent, breakfast very good. Service very friendly. Hotel location very good. Rather a lot of stairs to come down to street level (escalator up!)

Staff were very polite and allowed us to check in 2 hours early as a room was available and gave us the option to upgrade. Hotel was spotless as was the room, room was a standard double which did show some signs of use. Breakfast was best I have had in a hotel for a long time and location was good with a 3 min walk to tube station.

Lovely hotel. Room was large, clean with lots of natural light. Breakfast fantastic. Lots of choice. Best of all excellent location.

Only bad thing was the hotel is popular for conferences so was very busy! Prior to arriving I received an email saying hoteldirect had contacted the hotel to check my reservation and they were ready for my arrival. I had 2 double rooms booked but on checking in they struggled to find rooms and tried to put us in twin rooms and smoking rooms! As non smokers and 2 couples we strongly declined and after a while rooms managed to appear! This was very annoying as I had already paid in full and been told they were waiting for us! Breakfast was ok but very busy, had to que to get a table and struggled to get service.

Excellent situation for shops and tubes. Service all very good, along with room and food.

4* rated, 5* in my opinion. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. View of Hyde park and upgraded to an executive suite (what more can you ask for). Clean, tidy, friendly service. Dinner was lovely with piano playing in the background. Breakfast had everything that you would expect, even fresh omelettes. I had a lovely time, we celebrated my husband`s birthday with a trip to see The Rat Pack.

Having just returned from a two night break at the xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx I can say I had a good time but the experience was not excellent. The hotel is in a great location minutes from the tube station, opposite Hyde park and walking distance to regent street. It is very impressive inside and my only complaint was with the breakfast arrangements this may seem like a little point but having paid in excess of £450 I expected more. There are far too many guests for the rooms they have allocated for breakfast which resluts in having to que some times up to 15 minutes just to be seated, when we eventually got seated the staff there were just not organised enough. They failed to lay the table for the correct numbers, the condiments were not full and the hot breakfast was no better than luke warm from the serving trays, it was also a real challenge trying to get all the foods for your breakfast as the trays became empty at different times and were not replenished quick enough.

Is in a very good location, easy accessable to tube station. The hotel very clean and staff excellant. Was also happy that the hotel caters for smokers and have no qualms with being on the higher floor, but it does make it more relaxing for smokers to be able to smoke without going outside. Well done for catering for smokers

Nice clean room on 8th floor , so, very quiet. We booked 2 rooms and our friend`s room had a faulty air-con system which made the room unbearably hot. They reported the problem and an engineer called while we were at the theatre. He fixed the system and plugged in an electric heater. Toastie!!!!We were warned that there might be a queue for breakfast but we went at 9.30 on Sunday and were seated immediately by very friendly attentive staff.Les Miserable

First time we have stayed at the xxxxx Hotel and I can assure you it wont be our last. We found the Room the Breakfast and all of the staff excellent.

Very clean and well run hotel, we were upgrade at check in which was lovely. we arrived very early but booked in and left our bags, being given a ticket to collect it on our return.The room was lovely and the breakfast all you could want! Excellant

the twin room and bath rom was fab more than what we expected. we were in foom 536 opposite night club so noisey untill 2pmish. beds great xxxxx bathrroom with bath and seperate shoew, however the plug hole was blocked in shower bt reported it the next day. breakfast was fab dont forget to walk to other end of dinnng rom and the chef will cook you an omelet whilst you wait, Fruits salad cerial bacon egs the full english breakfast and more..If yu cant aford the breakfast price dont bother there is a breakfast cafe out side the front door. You can walk to selfriges in 2 mins and walk across hyde park and into Harrods in 40mins strolling along with the joggers.

The room was very comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit tired it was clean. The inclusive full english breakfast was excellent, made with good quality ingredients. We benefited from a special deal, which was a bonus. This is a quality hotel and it showed.

We enjoyed our stay nice room and hotel was in a very good position , we would stay again.

great location to get to theatre, easy to jump on the underground just off Oxford St so enjoyed the shopping as well, Hotel gave us an upgrade ( We Think ) because the room was so spacious never saw the wife till morning, great breakfast choice, excellent value would stay there again

Good location for underground, bus tours and shopping. Hotel was very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and sets you up for a day of sightseeing. Bedroom was clean but in need of decoration.

Have now stayed at this hotel twice when attending functions in London. Perfect location, clean and efficient.

Service is good, rooms clean and well prepared and staff greet you in a friendly and helpful manner. The place is, however, huge and busy at peak times making waiting for lifts frustrating, especially when one is out of commission. But the value for money cannot be criticised.

bar small with horrible loud music. nice large foyer/lounge area though. I had a couple of issues, which no one dealt with at all and asked for my room to be left alone but it was still made up, so service issues. Breakfast ok. I was upgraded to better room on arrival which was also very nice.

Hotel very good and well situated and staff very good. Food in restaurant not same choices as room service as we found and despite waiting for food to be topped up it was stone cold.

not the first time we stayed there -- we really enjoyed it . the only minor problem we can hear noises from the corridor: customers talking . breakfast is exellent . great variety of choice . staff very helpful.
