helpfulness superb, nothing was too much trouble. Delighted with the hotel will definitely use them again.
The hotel was wonderful, easily accessed by tube and right on the river so great for sightseeing. Excellent service from friendly professional staff and very good rooms for the price, no views however. Restaurant prices very reasonable for this calibre of hotel and lovely afternoon teas available. Good check in and out times and useful facility for leaving luggage, enabling us to sightsee and pick up later..all in all a very happy stay.
Excellent hotel. well located for West End and tourist attractions. Let down by slow service in Restaurant accompanied by shouting from kitchen. Not acceptable.
We were upgraded to an executive room which was of a very high standard . Staff very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Wonderful location and good food.
From arrival to departure the staff were welcoming, polite, efficient and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. A great historical building with wonderful architecture and close everything you could possibly want to visit. A great stay - would recommend without hesitation.
Excellent hotel, 1 minute from tube if needed, walking distance from Covent gardens . Hotel staff very helpful. Fantastic!
amazing hotel for the money excellent staff amazing room with touches i really didnt expect would stay again in a heartbeat
A very enjoyable stay. Clean and well presented room. Friendly and helpful staff.
The horseguards hotel was an exemplary hotel, loved every part of it, would recommend it as the hotel to stay in when in London, managed to walk to the theatre in 15 minutes, Trafalgar square in 5 mins Leicester square in 10 minutes... Only problem was the parking, not far away in Leicester square but very expensive....
Had a fab stay at the Royal Horseguards. Hotel is decorated in good quality furnishings and the rooms have every mod con including a TV in the bathroom and heated floor! Nice range of goodies for the traveller who may forget thigns like toothbrush, razer, talc, comb etc which was also a nice touch as wellUpgraded to an executive room which was very roomy with a large bed. Hotel was fairly quiet in terms of noise so this was an added bonus.Breakfast was the usual buffet affair which whilst good was still pricey at £22 per head so unless you are happy to splurge which we did then you can find many other cheaper options nearby.Overall a great stay
Thank you for a lovely staff. Being upgraded to an executive room was the highlight of our stay. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Fantastic hotel presentation and overall location for all the London sights.
Just superb. Only sorry we ate at OXO tower instead of hotel! We will be back.Staff absolutely top drawer!
For a hotel of this standard there were just one or two VERY MINOR things, one of which was ringing reception to ask for a herbal teabag and a mug to which they replied they did not have anything like that in the hotel (very nicely) but when I looked in the hotel book it said the opposite! When I asked for the candle at our table to be lit at dinnertime I was told ` they get lit at 6.00` - the answer should have been `yes madam` even if they then managed to wangle it to 6.00!! Silly points but when competing for the best they can make that subtle difference. However, we had a wonderful time, the bed was sublime and we came back refeshed and would recommend to ANYONE.
The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, as it was my daughters 21st birthday treat, our room was upgraded and a complementary gift was delivered to the room, which all went to make it a wonderful and memorable birthday treat. Many thanks
i stayed over the new year, the room was spotless, the bed comfortable ,food delicious, everything you need is catered for .best hotel i have stayed in recently.if i was nitpicking i would say the towels were quite hard but i probably could have asked for more . The staff were a bit stressed as it was new years eve so didnt feel very welcome at the bar at all ,its as if we were in the way.all in all i enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone .
The manager of the lounge bar did exactly what he said; he reserved a space for 4 persons in the evening to eat after retuning from the Royal Opera House. A super hotel room and service excellent. A very happy experience.
A fabulous hotel! Perfect location, very quiet, the hotel immaculately refurbished, spacious and extremely comfortable public areas as well as the bedrooms, and the staff unfailingly friendly and helpful. I defy anyone to find fault with this hotel!
Would definately stay again and again, this hotel is pure luxury exceptional rooms and service!
The shower was overcomplicated, and I gave up trying to get it to work. Instructions in the room would help. The hotel bar was very expensive. It wasn`t made known beforehand that a standard room was inside with no windows, hence an upgrade was necessary at a further cost of £60. We did enjoy our stay though, and I guess luxury doesn`t come in simple and cheap ways.
Make sure you ask for a room with a view and you will be able to see across the Thames from your hotel window and have views of the London Eye, St Pauls cathedral etc.
Would certainly stay there again
Would definitely recommend this as an excellent choice. we have stayed twice and appreciate the attention to detail and care given by staff. Thank you
Had an absolutely fantastic stay. Staff were a pleasure to deal with and the room was immaculate. Will be staying here in future when in London
Just back from a weekend in London. Stayed at the best hotel in town. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was really nice and overall would highly recommend this hotel.
5Star treatment. Down side no parking within hotel nearest is 5min drive. Rooms are extravagant and posh but smaller than expected.
Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay. As ever, it`s the service and staff that make all the difference to a stay. we have no complaints and will certainly stay again
This was a good hotel experience, the room was trendy and comfortable and very spacious. The only problem was the sound of the air conditioning from outside, although it went off around midnight it came back on at 5.00am and woke me up. I would have preferred a quiet room with a view. I did notify the reception who did offer to move us, but said it would go off, so we stayed, but did not say it came back on at 5.00am!
