Good location-cosy room.
Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Comfy beds. Helpful staff. Pleasant lower ground floor breakfast room + ground floor terrace.
Good location., bus services round the corner, and next to a wonderful French restaurant.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a fantastic find. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone - it is a real gem and we shall be returning.
charming-
A pleasant small hotel in a quiet part of the city. Good access to Metro (Saint Georges). Staff welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would certainly recommend it.
The room was of adequate size and comfortable. The only thing that I can fault is that the carpet was really dirty with black marks all over it. The breakfast room was lovely and the lounge area was very comfortable. Ideal hotel for a short stay in Paris.
Average hotel, close to Metro line. Very good breakfast choice. Room was noisy due to traffic and room being at the front of the building.
Our room was clean and well provided with nice decor. Staff were friendly and we liked the area which had a pleasant buzz to it without being threatening in any way. It was an easy walk into more central areas. Value for money was great. No faults!
Only problem is traffic noise in the front bedrooms from narrow street. Otherwise quiet hotel with helpful staff. Rue de Martyrs adjacent full of small shops and restaurants. Far enough away from Montmartre to avoid the `red-light` aspect!
Great places to eat within a 5 minute walk. Easy access to the metro.
Clean friendly hotel in a good location. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but overall we were very pleased with the hotel. The staff very friendly and the maids were very efficient cleaning our room every day. I liked the location because although we had a little walk to most attractions, the street was quiet at night so we had good sleep.
Lovely hotel in an excellent location, All staff friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic choice!
Really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and would recommend/return! Breakfast lovely, room clean although didn`t bare any resemblance to the website pictures..think this was because we had the disabled room as three beds needed - myself, my husband and my 12 year old daughter. Bathroom facilities were good and beds very comfy. Metro very near the hotel!
Lovely friendly hotel. All the staff spoke very good English and were all very helpful. The rooms were compact but very clean and well presented - and everything you need for a weekend break. The hotel is very well positioned in a quiet area but with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. It is easy to walk to all the main sites and areas of Paris, but just as easy to hop on and off the metro - the closest station to the hotel is about 3 minutes walk, but its only 15mins walk to the Gard du Nord (if the weather is fine and bags not too big/heavy!) to connect to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and stay again if we came back to Paris.
Comfortable ,well positioned,clean, friendly.Recommended.
As above (location and staff good). Room ok. Bathroom in need of updating. Breakfast good.
helpful staff, clean rooms, breakfast good be a bit better, but on the whole very fair hotel
Great location and nice hotel. Although we booked a triple room and the third bed was a pull-out, which made the deal not so great.
Perfect location in the 9th: you can not only walk from Gare du Nord, but to all major centres, including Boulevard Hausmann and the Bourse. Breakfast suprisingly good. Friendly, professional staff. Great cafes/bars at the end of the road, so hotel bar not missed. Very happy with this hotel.
Our return visit to this hotel didn`t disappoint. Friendly staff, excellent maid service. Calm relaxed environment. Very comfortable beds and a good sized room with kitchenette. Good bathroom.Good variety for breakfast, but why tinned fruit cocktail? My only criticism in an otherwise perfect holiday.
This central hotel was small with friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation was good and spotlessly clean, It was excellent value which included breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending it
I booked the hotel very last minute, so didn`t know what to expect but was very pleased with the choice. I took my Mum and Dad for a long weekend and from the moment we walked through the door, we were made very welcome. We turned up a few hours before check-in time, but my single room was ready and we could all dump our stuff there. The lovely lady in reception was incredibly helpful and friendly and gave us some ideas for lunch venues. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and nicely done. There was also a peaceful courtyard where we could have our breakfast or just sit and chat. Centrally located, just 10 minutes from Rue des Abessess and 15 mins from Sacre Couer. The hotel is also easy to find coming from Gare de Nord. There is no bar at the hotel, but there are many in the same street and in the surrounding area. I would come back, for sure!
My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The accommodation was clean and nicely presented. We found the reception staff especially helpful and friendly whilst we were there. On the day we left they were also helpful in ringing our very late Paris shuttle bus for us to eventually sort out another car for us as ours hadn`t turned up. We were told that if we`d contacted the hotel direct and sorted out a shuttle via them it would have been half the price and hopefully a lot more reliable. If there was anything I would ask for in addition at the hotel it would be `fresh` fruit at breakfast along with all the pastries and bread as tinned was used. Apart form that it was great. We would happily use it again next time we were in Paris.
Centrally located. Plenty of cafes nearby. Clean, although shame the bathroom didn`t seem to have an outside vent. Had problem with squeeky bed but this was sorted for us before the end of the day. Would have liked coffee making facilities in room, although good choice for breakfast. Clean and quiet. Heavy curtains so dark in the morning. Would recommend.
Comfortable spacious room in this small independent hotel. Good quality breakfast available in the pretty undercroft dining area. It was useful for us that there was an underground carpark opposite for us to park our car
We found the trois poussins lovely and brilliant. Considering this is Paris where very few room are big we can say this hotels room was spacious enough, very clean and tastfully decorated. The staff where very helpful and spoke good english which covered over our limited French. The morning breakfast, although not cooked was perfect, a choice of cereal breads, meats, cheese ,fruit and tea and coffee all in abundance . Its conveinient to Saint Georges metro, which is just a door way to the city. A tip of ours would be if your going to the mussee d`orsay be there for 9:00am doors open at 9:30 but at time the queue will be 500 -600 long and by lunch time longer. At 9:00 you ought to be in the first 200 and will be in , in no time.
The hotel is well presented and very clean. The area is well served with bistros and bars, and whilst near a reasonably busy road, there is no problem wandering around on foot. The room was well decorated and met all our needsexcept for the fact that an extra mirror in the bedroom would have been useful, and the wardrobe had only four coat hangars. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality - a welcome added touch was free newspapers every day. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Overall, it was excellent value for money and would gladly recommend it to friends.
Very friendly staff, very comfy bed!
What can I say everything about our stay was class. My now husband to be proposed to me in Paris and our hotel provided everything we required i will never forget my experience and all the staff were very helpful (thankyou).Breakfast brilliant, restraunts a plenty, travel easy, city perfect.................................
we enjoyed our stay in this well presented quiet hotel, rooms well equiped . breakfast was good although dining space was a bit limited (could be a problem in busier times)
The staff were really quite helpful. My wife was unwell and they were very anxious to assist. The breakfast was no more than adequate as were the rooms but considering the location, i.e. in the centre of Paris then we have no complaints at the value for money.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the rooms are small, but very clean and the staff were friendly! The breakfast room is small but adequate! The only thing we thought might have made it perfect, was a bar where we could have enjoyed a relaxing drink! Would recommend!
Trois Poussins is a lovely intimate boutique hotel just a few minutes walk from St George metro station. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and very well appointed....but somewhat compact! Sharing with a child (even in a cot) would be uncomfortable. The buffet breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The staff are courteous.I would definately visit again.
great continental breakfast and accessed from breakfast room a lovely little courtyard area.rooms on the small side but adequate. hotel aprox.350yds from Sant Georges metro station and 3/4 mile from sacre-coeur . possible down side is the extortionate prices for everything in Paris so bring plenty of euroes
