Breakfast excellent. 2mins to metro very easy to get to all locations. Termini station 10 min walk.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are very clean and well presented (even to individually wrapped toothbrushes and toothpaste). Ideally placed for all the main attractions and on a main bus route for the station it felt so safe. Restaurant staff were so helpul and the breakfast was the best we`ve ever had in Italy. The only downside was the rather dour reception staff. Highly recommended. (Tip-don`t get a taxi from the station!!!! walk or use the bus)
overall this is a lovely hotel in an excellent location. room cleanleness excellent.Staff friendly and helpfull. On arrival however we were very dissappointed with the room, advertised as a twin it was exceptionally small and unsuitable for two people. I asked for a transfer and inatilly was told it could only be achieved for a further E40`s per night but a more senior receptionist overheard my conversation and agreed to move us to a bigger room at no cost. We had breakfast only once in the hotel as we felt at E15each , it was expensive, the service here was poor, no cutlery, crockery was available and we had to wait quite a long time for it. but we would reccommend this Hotel overall, particularly for it`s location.
Front desk polite and helpful when approached but less efficient when asked to do something. Air conditioning a little loud and bed less comfortable than expected. Room service good with fresh linen daily.Breakfast times generous and staff helpful and attentive.
Great location, comfortable rooms.. Good value for money
Thanks for making our stay a memorable one
The hotel was of a good standard generaly. Breakfast was was well presented and of an excellent standard. On the downside the room which we occupied (a tripple) was to small for 3 people even though 1 was a child. I would use the hotel again as it was idealy placed for sight seeing.
Smart, clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again when I next visit Rome.
Lovely hotel, but still a lot of building work at present. Room small, with limited view, but very clean well maintained (although the shower door did fall off and the sink blocked, on one occasion). Would definately recommend to friends.
The hotel staf were friendly and attentive. The lobby and dining areas were pleasant. The room was clean and comfy. There was ample variety at breakfast. The location was really useful, everywhere we needed was within easy walking distance.
Room size / condition was good for Rome but the air conditioning would not work.Breakfast choice is good.Staff helpful.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Room quite small, but very nice, lovely large bathroom. The breakfast was one of the best we,ve ever had in a hotel. A+
The location is perfect for a sight-seeing tour of the city. The hotel had excellent facilities. The room I had initially was very small, but I had no problem changing it. What impressed me most was the standard of service from all of the staff- from the front desk to room service. Without exception, all staff I met were pleasent, polite and very, very efficient. I had a wondeful stay, and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone
Good clean accommo +staff helpfull . Good recomendatoins re restaraunts etc
Hotel not able to deal with number of guests at breakfast. Builders are working around the clock to complete refurbishment, fairly noisy and leaving a lot of mess. Pleasant room, although fairly noisy
Adequately comfortable, but rather unfriendly and cold Reception.Disappointed no tea-making facilities in rooms.
Rooms clean and comfortable, but very small and cramped, this was not reflected in advert.. No soundproofing, could hear people in next room having a conversation. Info said their was a bar and restaurant, there was not. We could only sit in our room between sight seeing.
Hotel staff very nice, hotel very nice, good location, room the smallest I have ever stayed in. We had to eat breakfast across the road as the restaurant was being refurbished but were not made aware of this until we arrived at the hotel. Did not feel it was value for money compared to 4 star london hotels we have stayed in.
I specifically reserved a twin room at the hotel for the three nights, however on arrival we were given our room which turned out to be a double bed. I immediately returned to reception and was told it was a twin room, when I pointed out their mistake I was told that nothing could be done as they were fully booked. The best they could do was to move us the following day. It was a bit pointless as we were only staying for 3 nights and didn`t want the fuss of moving rooms and wasting our time with that. The restuarant at the hotel was not in use and breakfast was served across the busy road at a cafe. There was no information prior to departure that this was the situation. On the plus side the room was clean, but with little space. The hotel situation was quite good, and within walking distance of many sites.
Very central, within walking distance of many sights. Lovely room, helpful reception staff. Downside was restaurant was closed for refurbishment and breakfast was served in a cafe across a very busy road. No tea/coffee facilities and no bar in hotel, but we did enjoy our stay
While we were staying at the hotel it was under going renervation. This was not mentioned in any of the paper work of by the web site before we booked. Breakfast was served across the road and the hotel had a dis-organised feel to it. Our hotel room was v.v. small and the bathroom did not have a bath which I found inconvient. The only thing going for this hotel was it`s central location and in the end we didn`t spend much time there. I`m sure it will be much better when work had finished.
I booked this Hotel and although our bedroom was fine I was unaware that the restaurant was not opened due to renovation work. Breakfast was served in a dingy cafe across the road and the cooked food was cold. Not impressive service for a 4 star
As mentioned in the head line, the location of the International Palace is brilliant, the staff were mixed, some were outstanding some were just good. The rooms were really lovely, it looks as though there is a bit of renovation going on in the hotel at the moment...and the breakfast they erved was amazing...did not get anything even close to it anywhere else on our Euro trip!
Lovely hotel great rooms beds etc. Breakfast was good as well plenty of it !!.The only thing that we found alittle annoying was ordering drinks after our evening meal in the hotel. We wanted to move to somewere else in the hotel, and this was difficult..The resturant seems reluntant to serve us and wanted to keep glasses in the room by the resturant .Felt we had to find a bar when we would have been more than happy to stay in our hotelGreat break though liked it very much..
Location central - currently under refurbishment though.
Perfect for our short break, a short walk from the bus/train station. We had everything we needed & would certainly recommend this hotel.
