Having just returned from a short break at the Astor Court Hotel staying in a superior upgraded room. We stayed in room 33 which was a lovely big immaculate room on the front of the hotel, the room standards were excellent. The receptionist Rosalinde was a credit to the hotel as she was polite, knowledgeable and friendly, she couldn`t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. I would definitely return.

Located just of Regent Street (near Oxford Circus station) Lovely clean spacious rooms including a super shower room with toiletries. Had no problems sleeping even with windows open. A continental breakfast included. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The underground can be a problem (not running/closed due to overcrowding) if Oxford Circus closes head towards Piccadilly line, get off at Embankment then board the District line to Victoria if you`re heading to one of the Theatres located in Victoria.

Very clean but a little dated. No air-conditioning meant that the room was hot. The bath didn`t have a non slip mat, so if you like a shower it was a bit slippery. Rather uninspiring breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and the offer of free water in the very hot weather was appreciated. However, somewhere to buy a drink would have been good, even if it was a vending machine in reception.

This hotel looked ok on the outside but we had problems from check in. Even though there were two members of staff on the desk they both focused on a single guest and left us waiting for 20 minutes. When we finally got checked in the room was ok but really hot with no air con so sleeping was not easy. The cleaner didn`t wash used glasses just left them for us to do. If you don`t get down to breakfast early everything will be gone and a surprising lack of staff to replenish. Although in a great location I would stay here again.

Three adults shared a triple room, everything we needed was provided ,tea ,coffee ,hair dryer etc.The room had 3 decent sized very comfortable single beds , bathroom with over bath shower and seperate toilet .The continental breakfast was of a decent standard and the reception staff were pleasant and helpful.No complaints from us .

Staff very helpful. Rooms very clean and well equipped. Perfectly situated in the city. Continenetal Breakfast perfectly adequate for our needs.

There was some noise from the underground but wasn`t told that there would be noise. There was a problem with the bathroom flooring Reception is very modern but rooms weren`t.The beds were too hard, the rooms were very dated, need updating.

Our room was freshly painted and very nice but spartan in furnishings nd bedding, heating was difficult to control, toiletries were also limited. Breakfast was not good continental only with plastic cheese and ham, dry croissants and on one day no brown bread staff just shrugs when asked to restock saying none available.

Clean comfortable polite and helpful staff very convenient location enjoyed our stay would stay again would recomend

HOTEL WAS GOOD ON THE WHOLE BUT ROOM WAS QUITE SMALL, IT SEEMED TO BE OVER A TUBE LINE AS THERE WAS A RUMBLING EVERY FEW MINS AND COULDN`T HAVE BREAKFAST AS DINING AREA WAS FULL.

What a brilliant break me and my friend had, hotel very welcoming,clean,good Continental breakfast,very close to Oxford circus, recommend ,booking for New year again.

We had superior rooms on 5th floor which were beautiful very clean and beautifully decorated I had heard mixed reviews but can honestly say we had a wonderful stay I think the rooms had been refurbished and definitely best to go on higher floor otherwise could hear a little underground noise if on lower floors but staff were friendly and we could leave our luggage in storage while out all day. Excellent

Did not know what to expect, but this was the most comfortable bedroom I have stayed in, first class shower, separate toilet, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, will come back again

The hotel room was a shabby and very warm the bathroom was cramped and shabby. There was scaffold right out side our window with builders working and no blind on the bathroom window so going to the toilet was not always private which my wife found very disconcerting .Also opening the window to cool the room meant we could hear the builders noise and them shouting. The worsted thing was the constant rumble of the underground trains every few minutes late into the night. On the plus side the staff were very helpful friendly and polite.

I would definitely stay here again. Very large room (Twin) with separate bathroom and toilet. Very, very clean. The evening receptionist, a gentleman, was extremely courteous and helpful. A lovely stay

Hello to everyone reading this review, okay let`s go.Stayed on the 5th floor ( yes it has a lift ) the room had obviously been recently refurbished to a very high standard, comfortable bed, nice breakfast in the morning.The staff absolutely brilliant, hotel is in a great location so what ya waiting for getting it booked up.Astor Court your 10/10

I phoned the hotel in advance, and was assured our room had a shower, rather than a bath, to aid my mobility problems. it was a lovely room, with a shower, and a separate toilet! I was then shown the staff lift, which I was able to use in the morning to access the breakfast room, located on the lower ground floor. Will definitely be visiting this hotel in the future!!

The hotel was spotlessly clean, great location for palladium walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful and staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay here it was just so very warm in the room but we asked for a fan and it was brought to our room in minutes so thankyou

Nice hotel, nice welcome. 5 mins away from the shops and restaurants around the corner. Rooms clean and breakfast fine.

Great location. Lovely room recently decorated. Good to have a separate loo and shower room. A fantastic find. We will certainly aim to stay again

Lovely clean Hotel and very helpfull and friendly staff. Really comfortable room. Just a 10 minute walk from Oxford Circus tube.

Freshly refurbished with very helpful staff. A problem with the toilet was immediately dealt with by maintenance staff.Sadly a mediocre breakfast with poor quality coffee machine and stale croissants.
