Very fair value and quiet room.
I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would use again.
Rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good & staff were very helpful and friendly. Staff at check-in and check-out were extremly pleasant and helpful. All in all a very positive experience of this very central London Hotel. Price was very competitive for this central area. Would definitely recommend & go back there.
Decent size room, good breakfast and convenient
Downside was that cleaning staff congregated outside our room, 42. so no late sleep in.
Friendly helpful staff
A pretty basic hotel but the room was clean and comfy with tea and coffee making facilities ( which beats some so called "luxury" hotels!) Ample toiletries provided. The staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Thankyou for a pleasant stay.
A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Its location is excellent with the tube service very close by. Prices were perhaps a little high bearing in mind the size of the room and the lack of a bath. A later opening bar would also be advantageous.
Room was comfortable & clean but rather on the small side . Was quiet even with the window open wide at night except for the sound of the trains but this was not such that it kept us awake. Staff very friendly and service in the dining room very good. Very close to the Underground which made it easy to get around.
Soooo hot in hotel and room tiny struggled to get in and out of bthroom as bed blocked the door. But clean serviceable polite and friendly staff would definatly use again as cost effective and convenient
The Burns Hotel was a most comfortable and convenient hotel, within a short walk of the Underground (Earls Court) yet in quiet surroundings. Would recommend to anyone wishing a Theatre Break weekend etc.
Could not fault he Hotel. The package with the show was excellent value and we will be booking again.
The hotel is is a great location, a stones throw from the tube station and has a welcoming reception area. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was well looked after. The bar area was nice and relaxed and there was even a little patio outside where I sat and took in the evening sun. The only downside was that the single room was full to the brim with 2 single beds, a desk, a bedside cabinet and 2 other cabinets. For a night it was fine but there was not much space. The other thing was that it was extremely warm in the room itself which meant it was not that comfortable. All in all I would stay there again but would be happier if something could be done about the heat
rooms were not very big but sufficient room and very clean. they looked after our cases after we checked out , leaving us the day to look around london. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant was very clean. Very good value for money.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The decor and the rooms were really nice and the location and surrounding area were superb. Will definitely visit again.
Friendly helpful staff. Could do with air-con In rooms, as my room was bit warm.
Quiet location yet close to underground and walking distance to kensington.Good breakfast very comfortable clean room. Pleasant efficient staff would highly recommend for london break weekend.
For £90 B&B not bad, but if I had to pay £165 (full price) I have have expected a lot more. Did the job, breakfast very average.
good value for money, friendly helpful staff who will do anything to make your stay excellent. if you are a wheelchair user please request a downstairs room, its an old building with small lifts. cooked breakfast on the small side but plenty of continental to chose from overall lovely hotel would definately use again
clean well run hotel. friendly staff, very good breakfast, , left luggage facility, our only critisism would be that our room was on the small side, but adequate for a two night stay, and they didn`t get the second lift working resulting in long wait on occassions to use other lift. Would recommend it to friends.
The hotel was friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and quiet. It was however, rather small and cramped
we had a lovely stay in this hotel, rooms slightly small but very nice and very comfortable beds. hotel in a quiet location but within a 5 min walk to Earls court underground. ideal actually. reception staff very friendly but breakfast staff could do with a smile or two !! hotel bar was fine and we enjoyed a good few drinks there before bed time. all in all a lovely hotel and would stay here again.
Our room was in the basement, at the front of the hotel and was subject to smoke from all the smokers outside. We opened the window as it was in a heatwave. The milk in the room was not UHT and was therefore bad by the time we required it in the morning. the TV was very high for such a small room and was uncomfortable to watch for very long.
Our stay at the Burns Hotel was extremely satisfactory. Staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was of the highest standard. Rooms comfortable and serviced regularly. Will definitely use this hotel again when in London.
Stayed at this hotel on 10 July. As noted by other visitors, rooms very small but adequate for myself and my friend. Beds comfy, 2 pillows too! Bathroom clean, coffee/tea maker in the room. Breakfast wonderful. Staff friendly. Picturesque street. Ideal location. 2 minutes walk from Earls Court station. Would definitely recommend as a base for a short stay in London. Would defiinitely stay again.
Our only comment is that we thought a handrail should have been fitted to the side of thestairs to floor2 - our room was 212 - similar to those at the entrance/exit to the restaurant.
my wife and I stayed at the Burns Hotel June 5th 2010 and we were very impressed. The staff were most helpful, the hotel was very clean and the food excellent. Would recommend this hotel
Our room was very small, very hot and quite claustrophobic . The dining room was pleasant and the service excellent. The English breakfast was very good. We were moved to a bigger room and that was much more comfortable. I think we will use The Burns Hotel again.
