very comfortable room and lovely breakfast
Really friendly staff...top quality hotel very happy
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. But the lighting in the rooms is insufficient. No lights towards mirrors, made it ver difficult to see in both the room and bathroom.
Had a nice stay. Stayed here before when it was a Jurys and the changes to the public areas are good. The room we had was nicely decorated but small. We did have a problem with our first room as there was no hot water but we were moved to a new room promptly and the staff were apologetic and friendly. The room we were moved to was fine but smaller than the first room and we thought even that was small for what we paid. So, overall, good, not great hotel with friendly staff in a good location but poor value for money for the class of hotel and the location. You can get more for your money elsewhere.
The room we stayed in was excellent. No complaints at all. Would hope to visit the hotel again in the near future.
Superb welcome, beautifully clean, simple yet elegant rooms, overall the best hotel we have stayed at in London so far.
a very high standard hotel where all of the staff are so freindly and helpfull .the location is perfect for the west end theatres, covent garden and oxford st shopping all of which are in easy walking distance of the hotel. i would easily recommend the bloomsbury hotel to freinds and family.
could not have been better,
Very good hotel, staff friendly & helpful. Great location.
Location is excellent very close to tube stations and attractions. We have stayed at this hotel in the past (whilst it was a Jury`s Hotel), and we were slightly disappointed with the size of our room. It was very small but very well furnished and clean. As it was only a base for us while visiting London it was sufficient just felt a little cramped. Other than that a very nice place to stay and would recommend it to anyone.
Very comfortable and well appointed rooms decorated in a contemporary style. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London as the location is great for Covent Garden, Soho, Oxford Street etc.
We had 5 nights in this hotel - everything was excellent, we will be going back!
Beautiful Hotel situated very central to many of the main tourist attractions. Fifteen minute walk to the Houses of Parliament .The tube station is less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms very modern and the under floor heating is a nice touch in the bathroom, house keeping very prompt and efficient. We did not eat in the hotel as it is quite expensive. Plenty of local restaurants in the area that open early for breakfast and stay open late for dinner.I would highly recommended this hotel to stay in.
First class.
Excellent experience, room was fantastic and clean. Hotel was finely decorated. We thoruoghly enjoyed our stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay - the rooms are adequate for what we required with a fantastic location right in the heart of the city. Staff very pleasant and attentive - will definately stay again.
The hotel itself is extremely clean, beautifully presented and the facilities are excellent. The staff are not just helpful but very friendly, and the food (although I only sampled room service) was delicious. Well worth the money, and a hotel that anyone (children, adults, foreign visitors or passing commuters) could enjoy. Worth every penny and I have already planned to return!
Hotel was perfect for what we wanted, on a 2 night break in london. Great location for oxford street, west end etc.Deluxe room was not that big but we didn`t stay in it for that long anyway. Service of staff was exceptional, from the door staff to waiters, catered to our every need. the restaurant was also wonderful, albeit a bit empty. would highly recommend this hotel.
very comfortable and larger than average room size and as previously, staff provide an excellent service
This hotel is a pleasant surprise and we would highly recommend it. Contemporary comfortable and spotless bedrooms. Impressive public rooms, attentive and helpful staff, great location and just the right size to ensure that personal service
Disappointed with the size of the room which was really small and compact. The lighting was also poor as there was no vanity mirror and it made it difficult to see when getting ready in the evening. The staff were excellent though. Very polite and attentive and the service was excellent. Couldn`t fault the food either. Ideal location for everything London has to offer.
If you are staying in London treat yourselves to a stay at The Bloomsbury Hotel. Excellent friendly staff, room was great, and treat yourselves to a meal in the restaurant. Will definately stay again.
The location of your hotel was great near the tube station and near all the shops on oxford street.
Excellent service from Reception desk when we first arrived. Room was beautifully decorated. Bed was too soft though. Excellent service from bar. Breakfast service was average - waiters / waitresses didn`t seem to be working together well. For example, we were asked if we wanted coffee 30 seconds after being asked by someone else. In addition, all our plates which we were still using were about to be cleared whilst we were getting another course. It wouldn`t have taken much for the waitress to wait / find out if we were still using our crockery / plates. In summary, they were being a little over-keen and could`ve used a little more common sense. Also quite expensive (£15.95 guest rate) for what you got.
We had a superior bedroom and I believe the grade above was De Luxe. It was what I would call compact as was the en-suite, but was very well decorated, furnished and appointed including large bath robes and slippers. The staff from check-in to check-out were efficient, courteous and helpful. The restaurant manageress knew our name on the second day for breakfast and where we had sat the first day...very impressive.
A very well sitiated hotel, offering the best in hospitality, cleanliness and charm. I would recommend a stay to anyone!.
This was another excellent hotel provided by this site, this was our second theatre break and this time was equally as good as the first. This hotel is real quality, everywhere spotless, rooms and bathroom very smart. Breakfast too was great and staff very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location for Theatre Land and main attractions. High level of comfort and service, staff very polite, happy and attentative. Room was standard room but of high quality. Very clean. I will certainly stay here again and have no hesitation of recomending to others.
Very nice rooms, clean and tidy however the bed was uncomfortable as you seem to roll together towards the middle and at 3am it becomes very noisey as if they are doing all the washing, drying etc then to save money using night rate electrity.
As part of a theatre break package we stayed at The Bloomsbury hotel, Great Russell st. Excellent location for theatres and shopping. 5min walk to Oxford st and central shopping area. All hotel staff were pleasant and attentive to our needs. The room was quite spacious with nice decor and good facillities. Would definately use this hotel again.
Booked this hotel for 1 night to celebrate my partner`s birthday, we stayed August 29th 2010.Not a massive room but very nice & a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price, we had breakfast in our room with no extra charge. The breakfast was fantastic & plenty of it, the staff were very nice & helpful.I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel it was great. The one negative I have was the drinks were very expensive at the bar & I would not use the bar next time!
Had booked 3 rooms. The other 2 rooms were lovely but my double room was very small. The concierge was very good and booked a restaurant for us and got taxis. Excellent service.
room slightly small like most of the London hotel, need brighter light in bathroom for the mirror towear makeup.
