good position , very clean and fresh throughout hotel, staff were very profesional above what you would expect in this price range will use hotel again.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Kingsway Hall. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would book again ourselves.
Well situated and with easy access to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and the theatre area. Comfortable hotel and prices competitive. However, I do think that when you pay £16 for breakfast the full menu should be available. My friend just wanted crepes [as advertised in the elevator] to find she would have been charged for these on top of the £16, even though she wasn`t going to have anything else. Fortunately, the Head Waiter took pity and served them up without her paying the extra. That`s how it should be. I`d go again - they did look after us.
I have recently spent a very enjoyable few days in London staying at The Kinsway Hall. The standard of this Hotel is very good and the staff are excellen and very willing to help. Only a couple very small negative comments. I would have liked some peppermint tea in the room (not everyone enjoys breakfast tea and coffee) and whilst I agree with conserving water, the water pressure was not that good which can make it difficult when in the shower trying to wash soap out of hair. I know its a fine balance though. Otherwise first class. I will recommend your hotel and will use it again.
I have stayed at the Kingsway before but this time was made so very special my god daughter was 13 and they did everything to make her stay memorable, the upgrade was the icing on the cake also the staff on reception and consierge were so friendly and she left her phone in reception and they all came out to see her and had photos everything, hence whywe bought them some chocolates, thankyou to everyone.
greeted on arrival by very pleasant and courteous reception staff, We were upgraded to a very nice room, large spaceous and very comfortable.Meals taken in the dining room were excellent value and very tasty. The whole hotel had a very nice ambience, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.
For the price I paid I would have expected breakfast to be included, and you have to buy your own paper across the road.
Only drawback was the Internet connection which was not free and of in the room.
Very Nice hotel good position would use again
Third stay at this bril hotel, super clean rooms, fab location - we walked everywhere, superb personal service nothing is too much trouble, the Kingsway is our hotel of choice for our London visits
Well organised, clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Lovely dinner on our first night and good choice at breakfast.
Really good location, very professional staff and a very high standard of finish. Worth the little bit extra in cost than your average London hotel...just don`t touch anything in the minibar, you will actually be charged for doing just that...touching them! Not nice waking up to a bill under the door for something you didn`t have. Not a problem sorting it out with reception though, a very pleasant stay overall.
great hotel but bar prices very expensive
Bar Staff were good my only comment was 4 times we were over charged but I had checked it before we paid .I was not impressed with this. But we were upgraded to a suite which was very nice.We would stay again.
Great location for theatre/restaurants bars, which is why we chose it. We were upset when we arrived and told that the hotel was overbooked and we were to be moved to another hotel. Even though it was an upgrade it did not suit our arrangements. However, after explaining our reasons for choosing the hotel, they said we could stay and would move others. Tea/coffee facilities in room - it would have been nice to have a few biscuits. Overall, clean comfortable hotel.
Room gorgeous. Service excellent, nothing was a problem. Very central
THIS IS A FIRST GLASS HOTEL I COULD NOT FIND ANY FAULTS
Beautiful hotel, great room, very freindly staff. Really enjoyed our stay with so much on the doorstep will definately book again.
1st time in London, we went to duke of York theatre the hotel was lovely staff were friendly and it`s location is great just 10 minutes walk from theatre and tube!
First time we have stayed in the kingsway. It was a birthday treat for my 15 year old daughter. Hotel and staff were great. Fantastic hotel. Furnishings in bedroom were fantastic. Clean and beautiful Great location for theatre land. Totally recommend staying here. SB
Excellent service and rooms.
Perfectly located centrally. Quiet to relax. Impeccable Standards. A diamond of a hotel in every repsect.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone....it is spotlessly clean, the staff are very efficient and welcoming, the best hotel in London. I have stayed here twice now and look forward to another visit in 2012.
Seemed very good value by comparison to most hotels I looked at. Parking at neighbouring car park organised through concierge was very welcome and at a decent price for central London. Would recommend.
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate a birthday weekend. Upon arrival we were treated well and the room was of a good standard. We included breakfast with our stay and it was one off the best we have had during a stay at a hotel, there was plenty on offer and the cooked breakfast was full of flavour. We also included an afternoon tea at the hotel in our stay and this was to a good standard at a good price. Would definitely recommend staying here as it is close to the theatre area and all the attractions around London.
Staff are excellent at hotel, very friendly and helpful. Had to change room key 4 times as it stopped working. The rooms were great and very clean, although the beds are very hard and a little uncomfortable. The breakfast was very good, probably one of the best breakfasts I`ve had in a london hotel. Ordered two glases of white wine which came to £20.90, which I thought was a bit steep. Used the jacuzzi and showers in basement, again very clean and towels are provided. On check out the hotel tried to charge me for a bottle of champagne form the mini bar which we didnt have but they quickly removed this from my bill. It would have been nice to have an area where you could relax and have a drink - only tables and chairs in bar.
We found the bed to be to firm and did not sleep very well the first nightThere was auditions for a musical at the hotel and the restaurant was moved in to the bar area, the staff all coped very well and when I asked for porridge and fresh friut salad which was not in the buffet the waitress very kindly got it for me.
The hotel was outstanding and the staff were brilliant, very helpful and accommodating. Had a wonderful weekend
