Stayed for two nights great location wonderful staff. Great size room and will stay here again
The room was clean and suited the needs for our stay perfectly, however the decor is tired and damaged and in need of some TLC. The shower screen permits water to fall on to the floor.. Poor design!!
The hotel is ideall y located to the tube which will take you direct to Picadilly Circus. The rooms were cean and comfortable although slightly dated and very warm! Breakfast in the morning offered a vast range, and because its selve serve you can eat as much or little as you like.
I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel for future visits to the capital. The hotel and its location are perfect.
Nice hotel, nice room, great location, great breakfast, got a room at front of hotel which was noisy from passing traffic and people leaving the casino across the street at the Grosvenor Hotel, this soured the visit a little, ask for odd numbered room to avoid front and noise.
I had prepaid for my hotel but on arrival I found the number of forms to be filled in a bit over the top considering I also pre approved 50 on 2 rooms on my visa. The level of personal detail I was told I HAD to supply was extreme and the lady at the desk was not able to handle the situation very well. On arriving at my room the key did not work and had to be replaced. The room was extremely hot all weekend and no way to cool it down. when leaving the safety deposit box would not open and someone had to come to get it opened. And the code I used was correct. Did raise a concern that maybe it had been tampered with. Breakfast was very good and staff in restaurant and bar were extremely helpfull
Rooms very clean and spacious. Good location for tube and walking distance to many attraction. Would book again.
Hotel very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, please note they do have stairs to the six floors but it is a bit of a trek!!Gloucester road tube station 2 minutes away (£40 adult single within Zone 1 - this covers most of the main sites - kids under 10 FREE) - plenty of Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes & supermarkets all within a short distance.
excellent overall but sleep was interupted by an elephant walking backwards & forwards in room above at 11pm.
Unable to comment as we did not stay here. The hotel was over booked. We received a call the night before and advised that we were staying in a different hotel but same location .
The room was very big and clean. The breakfast food was great. The ony snag is that te bed was uncomfortable. We had twin room, but the mattresses on both the beds were too hard. Overall an excellent hotel though. Would stay there again.
A lovely hotel clean and a really. Good location and would come and stay agin. But one thing no biscuits with the tea and coffee in your whiich is a nice touch.
would stay again next time in London , staff very helpful and pleaant to deal with , comfort and breakfast top standard
Very friendly staff. Pillows in rooms could be thicker
I feel that I could not recommend this hotel as we had problems with cleanliness. Other aspects such as the bed was clean and comfortable, the reception staff were fine and the breakfast was very good but the cleanliness of the bathroom was an an issue.
We received a warm and friendly welcome to this ideally located hotel. Our room was comfortably furnished to a good standard and we experienced no problems whatsoever. Bar / restraurant staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed a very good standard breakfast buffet. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as our experience was good and enjoyable throughout.
What a wonderful overall experience - room was clean and comfortable and staff couldn`t be more helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel as it was good value for money.
The hotel had overbooked so we were transfered to their hotel in Victoria. Although it was not ideal the person we dealt with at Harrington Hall (Sam Butler) was very helpful.
48 hours before I was due to check in I was informed I was to be moved hotels to a `sister property` but I would recieve a `complimentary upgrade`.When I checked in the receptionist was surly and unhelpful. The upgrade did not come to light as I was allocated a standard room.Persistant house keeping woke me up significantly before time to check out by entering the room without sufficient warning and again as I was changing.Other members of staff were pleasant enough but it wasn`t what I was expecting from a 4* London Hotel
We stayed here for my husbands birthday and had a lovely time. The staff were very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that we could hear the person upstairs walking very loudly up and down the room when we were trying to sleep. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel was a 2 minute walk literally just round the corner from gloucester road tube station. We will definitely book to stay here again.
V Good stay but disappointing qulaity of breakfast.
We will be back. unpretentious, clean and a huge bed. Ideal for short stay, theatre etc.
All you could want for a weekend in London. The hotel was clean, tidy and comfortable, the staff were helpfull but not obtrusive. It was very quiet for a central location, excellent for tha Albert Hall and the museums.
The hotel is a two minute walk from Gloucester Road underground. However it is also a lovely walk to your favourite places. The hotel was lovely, clean, modern and welcoming. The room was spacious but a little too warm. We had to sleep with the window open all night and were still far too hot. (end of September too). Overall good though and would go back.
although we knew that the room bar had to be paid for a bottle of water was in the room on a small table, this I assumed was complimentary. So made tea / coffee. On checking out I told them that nothing was used from the room bar, but the bottle of water was used. I was told that I was expected to pay for it. I said that it was naughty for something to be left looking like a complimentory item to be part of the room bar that was tucked away in a wardrobe. I was also unhappy to be asked for my passport details when all the information that was held by your reception staff showed that I was a resident in the UK. Apart from these two minor irritating issues my wife and I had an enjoyable stay.
This is a lovely hotel and we had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend it. The room was very roomy(twin) and quiet, would definitely stay there again.
All good except - no radio in the rooms and the decor could do with updating!!Their website needs updating - the photos in particular do not do the hotel justice
I would definately stay there again. Staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable clean and the bed relaxing.
I was thrilled with my choice, relatively inexpensive for what you get when compared to other hotels in the same range. Location was brilliant, tube just there. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and family and next time I visit London I will certainly go back.
Conveniently located for our trip to the V & A. Just a few minutes walk from Tube station.
