We loved the hotel suite we booked, especially the huge balcony on the top floor. My grandson loved being next to the Heliport and we had great views all round and saw lots of planes near to, and trains too.Also views of the river.The staff were very helpful and pleasant.Thank you so much Hotel Direct for finding us this hotel.

This hotel was great and the hotel staff were amazing and helpful. The only down side was that the suna pool was cold so we couldn`t enjoy the spa to the fullest.

Free shuttle unsatisfactory. We were 2 small ladies crammed into small TWO door car with 2 large unknown gentleman and driver no room to plug in belts

Should be 5*...Only thing was the distance from anywhere good in London.

The hotel, being a short stay hotel, lacks any noticable atmosphere or character. The room I occupied was very comfortable and clean but lacked any facilities to prepare hot drinks - a change from Verta ownership.Thr hotel has no facilities for guests to relax. It appears that the breakfast dining area is apparently not used for any other purpose and consideration should be given to using this area for lunch and dinner. This would then free an area near to the bar for guests to use for TV and/or internet access. Reception for mobile phones was extremely poor. I was not the only guest to go down to the ground floor or outside the hotel to use a mobile phone.I recently had a short term stay at the Holiday Inn near Gatwick and this was far superior to the Crowne Plaza at Battersea and considerably less expensive.

My wife and I took 2 nights away from home while we had visitors and really spoiled ourselves at the Crowne Plaza Battersea. We came back feeling relaxed and refreshed after staying in a beautiful room and enjoying the luxurious spa facilities and gym. Only reason for a 4 and not a 5 is a hiccup in room service, sauna wasn`t working and the "free" wifi is dialup speed!Overall great.

Excellent staff,really quiet and very comfortable hotel.would recommend it to all my friends as good place to stay.

Room was lovely but was let down by towel rail hanging off the wall, tv in bathroom not working. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and breakfast was quality for money. Disappointed on distance from theatre, website a little misleading.

I received an upgrade without cost which was excellent but the room was not fully made up (items missing like bath towels on arrival) and the minibar was not restocked after the first night. Had these ben done the hotel would easily rate excellent.

This was a terrific Hotel , great staff and impeccable service and quality, we loved every minute. It was off the heated track at battersea but really was just a stones through away from the centre and watching the helicopters come in to land a breakfast was great fun.Do not hesitate just book you will not be disapointed

I stayed at the Verta for two days. My room was lovely, spacious, great bed, lovely bathroom and a real coffee machine. Staff on the front desk were very helpful and the manager was fantastic. Enjoyed a wonderful crab linguine in the Mezzanine bar (although they could happily lose the background music!) Good to have parking onsite. A couple of annoyances were that the postcode on my booking was not recognised by my Satnav and when I rang up having been lost, I was given a different one! This needs to be made very clear as the entrance to the hotel is difficult to spot anyway. It had also escaped me that the hotel was a 45 minute walk to the nearest tube, Sloan Square. They do run a free shuttle bus, which would be good if you were on holiday I would imagine. Because I was on a business trip, it didn`t start early enough for me unfortunately. I would recommend this hotel if you were happy to be a bit further out and wanted to stay by the river.

The hotel looked perfect and the staff were very nice. Only a small problem that the air con didn`t work in our room, with no windows that could be opened it made for a very very hot and stuffy room. Reported this to the staff about 3/4 times and apart from asking if the key was in the slot by the door and trying to turn it on manually downstairs (which still didn`t work and was reported) nothing else was done. Far too hot to enjoy the room!

Great hotel but how can you have a hotel in this kind of location without a car park. Great service, fantastic rooms....just a shame about the car park!

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Would go back and recommend to friends. Only one negativity, we had no soap in our room and when we asked for some there was none available.

Just returned from hotel Verta. The hotel is very far away from anywhere basically! Upon arrival we were told we had to wait for our room as they had been busy so we went to the bar. We were greeted by a young man- very scruffy tie loose around kneck and shirt not tooked in. Drinks were very over priced. Went to room. Room was nice but very small. Bathroom was excellent though. Room could have been cleaner lots of dust. Also light fitting was broken and the television was very slow. We were told breakfast was included in the cost of the room- it wasnt! Hotel staff were not very helpful and always looked very miserable. Would not reccommened or return.

the hotel in general was first class and we would definitely return. unfortunately my wife is caeliac and therefore has an allergy to wheat. we requested gluten free bread at breakfast, but afterwards realised that the bread supplied was not and my wife has been seriously ill all weekend. please confirm if you are going to relay this to the hotel on our behalf?

Lovely rooms shame about the view..! asked to have room with a river view ended up looking at apartments which were very close.

Spotless, friendly, quiet,everything worked. A very nice break I had here.The staff were very courteous and helpful.The warer pressure in the showers was fantastic, with no loss of pressure even at peak time. definately stay AGAIN and AGAIN.!!

The hotel is immaculate with fantastic facilities. The one thing that stands out is the staff, I didn`t meet one that didn`t have a great personality, so helpful, so funny. Breakfast runs like clockwork and tastes fresh, even though we didn`t eat until 1000. It`s off the beaten track but the hotel put on a shuttle bus to get you to Sloan Square, simples!

The main restaurant was closed due to refurbishment and wasn`t made aware of this prior to booking very disappointed as we had to sit in the smaller breakfast restaurant with a very limited evening menu, if I was made aware of this earlier I would have chosen a different hotel as we planned to have a full 3 course meal only to be disappointed that the wasnt a choice as the restaurant was closed. Apart from that disappointment it was average I supose!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff were excellent and very attentive.

I stayed at hotel verta on new years eve, the staff wos very friendly and helpful, the rooms was spacious with amazing views of the river thames, comfortable beds and lovely bathroom, it had all the little touches that made it amazing eg - floor heating, dimmed lighting, television in bath tub. The spa was also very nice. I would highly recommend this 5 star hotel.

The hotel is good value and a reasonable price that reflects the need to take the shuttle bus to Sloan Square. Our room was superb in design but it was disappointing to have a bath and shower with such weak hot water pressure that it took an hour - literally - to run a bath. The shower wasn`t an option. The room temperature couldn`t be changed and was very hot! One lift didn`t work and the steam room at the Spa wasn`t working. Staff were plentiful but it was frustrating not being able to have simple discussions due to language restrictions. Such a shame and so close to being an amazing experience!

Really enjoyable stay excellent service and value for money x
