The Icara Barcelona is situated in an excellent location, easily accessible to the City via the Bus services and the Metro within easy reach. The beach is also located just across the road., so really we felt we had best of both worlds!. The hotel itself was even better than we expected, the rooms were lovely ,cool ,very clean & modern.The food was very fresh, well presented, and served quickly. The staff were all most pleasant, especially the reception staff who were most welcoming, spoke very good english and were excellent at giving us advice on transport, etc. I would love to visit this hotel again if back in Barcelona, and would definitely recommend it to any of my friends. The bar staff could improve by being more attentive to the needs of guests who require drinks in the garden. The room was clean and the location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy all aspects of the city. Will be back.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff very helpful. The restaurant was extremely poor with unknowledgeable staff, poor food and little response from restaurant management. The frontline staff were pleasant and helpful. Great location for most things in Barcelona, the beach and Olympic harbour being a shor t walk away. Well served for buses to Place de Catalunya and Sagreda Familia.
