the staff were all very friendly and helpful; the room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and up to date; the breakfast was good & the location was very convenient (189) bus right outside the hotel straight into the West End. Clearer information on how to turn off the noisy air conditioning would have been appreciated, but we worked it out on the 2nd night.
Lovely clean hotel and room, staff very helpful and attentive, facilities excellent, a very pleasant stay would definitely use this hotel again.
Lovely hotel, room/bed very comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful. Restaurant is a little bit warm, especially in the morning for breakfast, otherwise well worth a visit
Most enjoyable stay; Comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, would certainly return again.
This is the best hotel I`ve stayed in. Staff SO friendly, room was spotless, bed was so comfi, lovely large room, bath with a good show, bus service easy to and from hotel. Breakfast was a+, plenty of choice.
Room excellent, roomy and quiet. Would stay again.
Checked in late so given a less desirable room on basement with no natural light. requested different room which was given but still on LG with little light and no view. Disappointed with allocation as this was the most I had paid for a three night stay here. £150 per night. But was impressed by staff, housekeeping and food. This hotel is a firm favourite of mine. But when are you going to give any special offers or cheaper room rates?????
Bit out of the way but would stay again. Very clean and staff vrry helful!
I chose this hotel as I had to drive down and it was close to the M1. ~The room was comfy and the staff very helpful and friendly. The nearest tube was about 10 mins walk or buses from outside the hotel. I have recommended it to my friends at work already.
Excellent hotel, food was lush and the staff were very helpul in every way. Our room was immaculate and the swimming pool in the hotel was immaculate too. Had a really lovely time and would recommend it to anyone.
The hotel`s breakfast is very delicious. But some of the hotel staff does not have smiling face. Hope to improve. And the cups in the room should change every day. The hotel should not ask the house-keeping staff to wash the cups as their hands are doing some dirty things like clear rubbish, wash toilets. Then they use their hands to wash the cups. It is not hygiene.
Had lovely time at this hotel, found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Wish it could have been nearer the city, but with a bus stop directly outside the hotel and only 20mins to oxford street, it wasn`t really a problem. Would definately stay here again.
The room was large and clean. Staff polite and helpful. The hotel pool was quite a nice bonus with towels provided. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
This hotel was very clean, Good breakfast and the staff were friendly. To travel to the hotel was easy, stop at Kilburn station on the Jubilee line and jump a bus for a couple of stops. There is a bus stop right out the hotel. Excellent for a cheap weekend in London. I will use it again.
My only negative is that if you go to breakfast after 9am, you will have to keep on asking for items to be brought out.
A very clean and comfortable hotel complimented by cheerful and helpful staff.
Excellent location in terms of arriving via M1. Parking a bonus. Staff very helpful. Reception area bright and welcoming. Bed in room 244 missing a caster.Breakfast a little chaotic. Would it be better for guests to be asked what they would like to drink at breakfast and then be given a pot of tea or coffee? Some of the bread rolls were not as fresh as they could have been. had to wait / ask at times for food to be replenished. Will stay again in the future.
The leisure centre (swimming pool and gym is excellent, and the bedroom was very comfortable. No radio stations on the tv though !
This hotel provided us with the ideal option for our trip to London. We stayed in a triple room with a double and a single - the beds were lovely and comfy and the room was a spacious size for three girls! The inclusive breakfast provided us with the perfect start to our busy days in London. Access to and from the hotel to Central London was easy by bus/tube! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for a break to London based on the quality and value for money we experienced.
Just spent 3 nights at The Crown Moran Hotel. Room and food were both excellent. When we left, my wife left a ring in the room by mistake. Didn`t realise until we got home - a quick phone call to the hotel to explain what had happened and the next the day the House Keeping Manager phoned to say they had found it - Coudn`t believe it !!!!
Six of us stayed there overnight (3 generations) and were very happy with our stay. However, the rooms in the new part, which we were first allocated, although high quality, large and modern, had no "real" windows and felt somehow `oppressive`. Maybe that`s a personal thing. Have stayed here several times before and the Crown Moran certainly deserves it`s high rating. Although out of the centre, the saving on congestion charges and parking (if you eat in the hotel), is well worth the journey by tube, bus or taxi!
Pub and the restaurant were excellent. The room was nice, but the exterior wall leaked during a rainstorm. The staff moved us to another room very quickly, and were extremely nice and helpful.
The only thing we could find wrong with the room was that most if the sockets did not work properly and we couldnt figure our the airconditioning! but other than that it was a great stay in a nice hotel
hotel staff were excellant the only down side was the breakfast the plates were cold and having to queue on the stairs not very safe
very nice stay
In all aspects, The Crown outshines itself. I would highly recommend it!
Excellent hotel in it`s category but currently lacking the swimming pool (under repair) to warrant the highest award.
Crown Moran is a nice hotel in cosmopolitan area of London.Prices for food an drink are reasonable and the breakfast was good.A 10 to 15 minute stroll to Kilburn Tube is not that bad or you can get bus.Buy an off peak day card for £6.90(off peak times 09:30 to 15:30 then 19:00 to 06:00)
HAD A NICE STAY HERE - WOULDN`T RECOMMEND WITH THE NIGHT OWL ROOM SERVICE AS IT WAS VERY POOR VALUE FOR MONEY & TOOK ALMOST AN HOUR TO ARRIVE! BREAKFAST GREAT THOUGH.
Stayed in rooms 422 and 424 on ground floor. Girls weekend away. Parking under hotel (turn in righ in front of hotel and drive under - beware very tight turns and small spaces but otherwise good - we ate in hotel so no charge) Rooms had 1xdouble and 1xsingle bed, view of wall, but not really expecting lovely views. Good 20 minute walk to tube station but there is a bus stop outside hotel if you prefer. Lovely cooked breakfast. Bathrooms very clean and rooms looked like they had just been refurbished. Spa/pool out of action when we went but they offered alternative of spa short walk away - we didn`t bother. Would recommend hotel - very nice.
The room was great, the staff were friendly on the front desk. The pool was out of order but there was a free alternative at a nearby leisure centre so cannot complain there. The main problem was the breakfast, it was poorly laid out, staff were not available to point you where to sit, and the tables were only cleared when you finally sat down. Bacon and sausages were left dripping in fat but you had to grab a member of staff to even find out how to get any eggs or toast. All food was left out on the side apart from the eggs which had to be ordered, or at least empty containers which were not topped up...... Likewise, the urns for the tea and coffee were left to run dry without enough cups or plates available for use.If they sorted the breakfast out (we didn`t eat any other meals there so cannot comment) then it would be so much better, it was a shame it spoiled an otherwise good stay.
Lovely hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Only downside was that breakfast was quite poorly organised (over two floors due to space restrictions, with the buffet upstairs). Also, Kilburn tube station is much further than a 10 minute walk away - get a bus or taxi!
A bit far out from the centre of London but excellent. Rooms and food very good.
Staff friendly and helpful, Irish newspapers available which was a bonus. Only disappointment was when hotel booked minicab for us the driver didn`t know London and we almost missed our west end show. Hotel offer an excellent taxi service during the daytime but at night if going into London tale a bus from outside hotel. Enjoyable stay, food freshly cooked and well presented
The hotel was well placed and only let down by a chaotic, farcical breakfast which left us disappointed with our stay
