"Clean, Modern and a good breakfast"
The staff were pleasant and helpful and there are bus stops and Metro stops close by including the Aerobus stop. If you want to walk and not use transport it is a 15/20 minute walk to La Rambla and the shopping areas so this hotel is a good choice pricewise but not as convenient as a result.

Great hotel, friendly, happy staff, all spoke good english. Room was large and spacious and was cleaned daily, no tea or coffee in our room, but there was an expensive mini bar. Breakfast was buffett, lots of cakes!! You had to order hot food.Overall good hotel, it was set about 20mins away from Las Ramblas that made it alot quieter, except for when the dustman emptied the bins at 4am!!Would stay here again.

"Very comfortable four day break .. lovely breakfast .. handy for metro .."
My sisters and I shared a triple room which was comfortable and very clean though not as large as we would have liked. The only difficulty we had was trying to find the hotel the first evening with the directions given by the hotel ... they could have been more precise but overall a very pleasant stay in a wonderful city. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would stay there again.

When I booked the hotel it advertised having a hot breakfast but it was a continental breakfast.

The breakfast was excellent. You do have to ask if you want something cooked, I did and it was lovely. Spoilt for choice.

Upgrade fro the Open Hotel to the Hotel Sta Moritz was both welcome and enhanced our stay in Barcelona. Everyone was friendly and helpful, thank you.

"Quiet location, comfortable rooms."
This is a very quiet hotel - we were the only guests using the bar one evening. It is a 30 minute walk to Placa Catalunya and a 15 minute walk to Placa Espanyol which is a stop for the airport bus. The disappointing feature was the cost of extras - the safety deposit box in the room costs ?5 per day, 15 minutes on the computer is ?3.50 and there is no printer access. Staff were pleasant, the breakfast was substantial.
