Overall my girlfriend & I were very happy with the Jardins du Marais. The room was ideal but the double bed was x2 single beds pushed together. The bathroom was good. The reception was fine, very helpful & friendly staff. Our only complaint was the noise made from the building of atemporary marquee in the courtyard which started at 7am on both morning.

The hotel hides behind a simple street front, the interior is a real surprise. The hotel itself is comprised of several buildings and a very nice courtyard between them. We had two double rooms (actually supplied with 2 x single beds rather than a double which is why the rating is good rather than excellant). They were really very well appointed and the only missing normal object we identified was any method of ironing clothes. This was compensated for, by the inclusion of a good working hair dryer and cooking facilities WITH a corkscrew :)The staff were very polite and pleasant, everywhere was clean and despite the hotel being reasonably crowded with weekend visitors, the night was peaceful.We did not partake in the offered E20 breakfast; after all, what is the point when the street has plenty of good eateries that are a fraction of the price and provide an excellant chance to get into the Paris feel.Overall, I would happily stay here again.

A deceptively delightful oasis in a slighly unfashionable area. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was excellent. What a wonderful place to stay! The unique atrium courtyard is a brilliant, sociable feature which sets this hotel apart from modern, functional buildings. Despite the eccentrictities of the lifts and the air conditioning I would certainly re-visit.

This hotel is a very nice place to stay provides its guest with a truely french experience and is good valuefor money, the room are nice and tastefully decorated! thanks
