Very nice hotel. Great location. Beds were a little hard but other than that it was very clean and well staffed
Terrific Hotel, great location with pleasant and courteous staff.
A great central location
Great room and service... fantastic location close to everything london!
great location. good reception staff and very clean. Poor bar staff. Bar closes too early for a weekend.
Mostly good experience although the beds in room 702 are not comfortable.
Booked as an un-named option which is alxxxxxs a bit risky - no need to be concearned in this case. Standard Queen room was very fit for purpose, clean and spacious enough for weekend break. Situated on the top floor (7th), noise was not a concearn, very peaceful. Bed comfy although slightly short for over sized hubby! Not a problem though. (Could have upgraded if we wanted) We didn`t take the breakfast as we felt it was a little expensive, but you are so near covent garden and surrounding area that `eating out` is not a problem. Definatley worth the money (£212 for two nights)
A very mediocre hotel.Room was slightly smelly. Toiletries minimal and for one person not two.Two sachests of coffee only and no biscuits. A very expensive budget expieriance.
Everything was fine except we had a room at the front of the hotel and could hear the guide rope banging on a flag pole all night,
Hotel was well located for Covent garden and theatreland district. Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was clean and nicely furnished for a standard room. Fantastic dining experience with superb food and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet was well presented and plentiful and staff were again attentive, (Coffee refills etc). Overall a lovely hotel with a high level of customer service that made you very welcome and appreciated as a guest.
Hotels usually can`t make scrambled egg but whoever is the breakfast chef sure knows how to! Rooms a bit warm and we prefer natural ventilation to air con but the window wouldn`t open. Lady opposite wouldn`t let her husband into room which provided entertainment! But loved the stay, very very nice and definitely want to stay again! Customer service very good.
Great position for the theatres and covent garden, helpful staff and the food on offer was very good. room and bed ok, would return just for the position, one negitive, the tv only had 6 or 7 channels all with very poor reception....in the age of digital tv how do they do it!
Lovely clean hotel. Delicious full English breakfast. 2 mins from Holborn tube and 5 mins from Covent Garden. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Only one issue, check out time 12 noon. Returned at 11.45am to collect our bags and room card have been cancelled.
Smart hotel, friendly staff and well appointed spacious double room. Good location for west end but quiet at night. Would use again
Good room and hotel staff very helpful. One comment would be that Intenet access in the room was charged at £14.99 per day as an extra, and think should be inclusive in the price of the room, particularly as anyone can walki n off the street and pay for WI-fi in the lounge/reception for £4 per day, but overall very good.
The hotel staff were very professional and friendly and the room was inviting. Perfect location for a theatre break, with lots of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops within easy walking distance.
The xxxxx Hotel is, in every xxxxx, an excellent hotel.Good position, courteous and obliging staff, superb food in an attractive dining room. This will be my choice whenever visiting London.
Have now stayed four times and have alxxxxxs been made to feel welcom, one of the best 4star hotels in London
staff were friendly. Rooms quiet and spacious.
Modern decoration and and an improved restaraunt and bar plus a little more weloming service (staff are efficient without been fiendly at present) would make this an excellent hotel ideal for theatre land and sight seeing in London.
lovely room with everything you need including flannels x 2. 5-10 min walk to leicester sq so central for the theatres etc. Also very quiet
Lovely hotel, ideal location for Covent Garden and several theatres, only drawback for me was very hard mattress on bed. Otherwise very good and staff were excellent, very helpful.
The hotel was comfortable and well situated for the theatre. However - I was disappointed that the staff had little knowledge of the area for directing customers to their theatre choice. Also the area of the hotel I was staying in was very noisy on Saturday night - I am not sure where the noise was coming from but it was outside the hotel. I was very happy with the room and its facilities and would not hesitate to book in a again - but not on a weekend!
Room small and very traditionally furnished. Cooked breakfast had limited choices, e.g. no poached eggs.
Had an extremely comfortable night here with great breakfast. Fantastic location. Would stay here again.
great location...felt quite pampered.....hope to stay there again
Good value for money, excellent location would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London.
Can`t fault the hotel - fantastic deal
After booking a last minute weekend break, was a little worried about where we were going to be staying, but after arriving at the hotel, our weekend really started. All of the staff that we dealt with were very polite and very helpful. The room was gorgeous and we had one of the best nights sleep ever!! No complaints what so ever and next time we are heading back to London, I will be booking this hotel without question.
Great room, lovely large bed. Could not fault breakfast and service was brilliant.
