When we got there we were given a key and it was for a twin room when i booked a double, so we went back to reception and got another key - that didnt work in the door. So we finally got the right room and in the morning the shower didnt work, this wasnt convenient at all, firstly we were in a rush when we got there and were messed around wit rooms and then after a long day and night in london a shower in the morning would have been ideal - did not have time for a bath!!!
Problem with room and sent to another hotel. Hotel was further from the centre and of lesser standard. Handled very poorly and a very disappointed to say the least
Corriders are dark and smell strongly of Indian food. Apartments are very basic and carpets very dirty bed linen and bathroom were very clean but you do not feel like your in a nice place away from home it`s like a bed sit. It`s in a very noisy area we got woken up very early by the clashing of the pub barrels, trains passing by can be disturbing if your not used to this. Hotel staff are friendly. The hotel is quite far from theatre so not easy to get to after theatre and dinner we had to get a taxi as tubes stop Wich cost £25.00. Overall it`s a clean bed and place to stay bit not a treat like other hotels I`ve been to.
We found the SO Quartier was good value for money for a family of four staying in London. We would use these serviced apartments again.
Rooms looked lovely - however there were some slight issues - and while this didn`t spoil our stay- meant that not all of the guests had what was promised in the rooms. (e.g dvd didn`t work in one room, no bathroom plug in another room, pull out sofa bed didn`t work in another room). Hotel needs to perhaps pay attention to these issues as much as making the rooms look nice.
So Quartier was what I expected it to be - clean, relatively spacious and comfortable for a short stay. There were one or two things that reduced by score slightly - the hotel is not well signed from the road so we were glad we had a cabbie to help find it, there was no complimentary tea/coffee etc and the loo roll was a bit flimsy. Also, the lift was out of order for the whole weekend, which would have been a big problem if we were any higher up than the first floor as my Mum has arthtritis. However, overall the accomodation was perfectly decent and reception staff were very helpful.
The staff members were very friendly and the place was very clean despite the fact that it was smelling a little bit. We will definitely be using your place again. Thank you. Reena, Hansa and Leslie.
lack of suitable power points in kitchen and lacked attention to detail with servicing appartment
Hotel very clean only problem was the car park. I was informed it was £15 a night or £35 for the week, this was untrue as we were charged £15 a day we were there from Monday pm to Thursday lunch and had to pay another £15 making it a total of £60 for the three nights Not Happy!
Stayed for a couple of nights, great location. The staff were very nice and helpful. Problems with heat in the room, too hot as previous room occupant left on the storage heaters. Some bits were a bit tired and no kitchen towels so had to use bath towels. Overall will definately use again in down in London with the family.
Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, clean, close tube ride to the centre of London. Brilliant value for money. Me and the girls would definately stay again.
This hotel was easy to get to, on the train and underground routes. It was perfect for a weekend stay. The only thing missing was a hairdryer which I am sure we could have borrowed if we asked.
Wouldn`t have said that the apartments were of 4* quality, but the apartments were lovely and spacious, much better than the usual cramped hotel rooms I have stayed in. Would definetly stay there again. Good value for money.
The reception team are very helpful and friendly but the hotel was a bit of a let down: everything was clean and tidy and the bathroom was a good size. The bedroom however was very small and the lounge area just felt stark. Easy access to central London but kilburn`s not the best area!
room ready early .very clean. staff on reception polite and helpful
