Underground parking lighting was dim

We found the hotel very good value. The service was top notch. the food was lovely ( the home made Burger was oustanding! ) If we tried we could not find fault. We would recomend this hotel.

Nice room, very nice stuff in a bar, reception ok too, was a bit cold in room, would prefere different type of shower.

The only criticism I have, is that a milk jug was spilt on nearby table whilst at breakfast and it was not cleaned up properly immediately. As a result another customer sat at the table when the chair was still wet and milk had not been cleaned up from the floor.

Good hotel, food great staff helpful. Only downside was for a four * hotel our room was not perfectly clean, sheets and bedding were, but just minor things like taps, and floor in the bathroom. However this would not stop us staying again. Also had to run the water for a long time to get cold water. And not enough hangers.

Hotel was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Its a 15 min walk from the nearest Luas train station, which can be a pain if you`ve got bags. Rooms were lovely and very modern - far better than I`d expected. Breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about, but again staff were excellent and friendly.

Staff were generally very friendly, hotel room was a good standard. Hotel was a little off the beaten track though. There is a luas station ten mins walk away, but the hotel is basically situated on top of a very busy main highway about half hour away from the city centre by tram. For the price this was well worth it though.

Had 4 nights here in June 2011, staff were great, room was spotless and food was great.15-20 minute walk to tram into town or around £20 taxi into city centre.

All the staff in the hotel were very helpful and accomodating. Overall the hotel was very clean, modern and well presented. Throughly enjoyable break.

I stayed at the hotel (along with my ex-wife and 2 small children) for 4 nights and we did not get one good night`s sleep during that time. The door closing devices fitted to the room doors mean that each time someone closes a door, it slams shut. In addition, there were still people running up and down the corridors, shouting and laughing at 2 am. This meant that my daughter entered her Irish Dancing competition feeling tired and irritable, which is not great!Apart from that, the rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable (but without the advertised air conditioning).

Hotel was very modern and well maintained. Staff very very helpful and friendly. Bar and food in LJ`s really good quality and value. Would recommend a meal at Joel`s Restaurant right opposite the hotel.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but didn`t get much sleep as the radiator made a noise even when switched off..!

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times previously and had no problems, however on this occassion the weekend was ruined by noisy patrons leaving the function room below our room window. This continued until 5am in the morning! I eventually rang to reception at 4.45am to ask could someone please speak to the people leaving. It really put a dampner on the weekend and we left early to go home to get some decent sleep!

Whilst this is a new hotel it had a great atmosphere, no doubt due to the wonderful staff who were not only efficient but so friendly. The food was first class with a varied menu. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The only downside was the hotel was about 20 minutes walk from the LUAS station and more courtesy lifts would have been appreciated. I would definitely stay again.

This is a really nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff which would do anything for use even got a Guiness delivered to my room with no charge!! now thats service!!! Room was really nice and modern with nice little things like a big LCD tv, Ice bucket for any drinks brought to the room, leather seats to relax on all with a nice bathroom and walk in wardrobe.Only bad thing was the lights are quite confusing as i had to ring reception to as how they worked, but other than that i would reccommend this hotel to anyone and would defo stay again.

good local knowledge. hotel excellant for luas tram nearby 20mins by tram to dublin centre. rooms spacious & v modern. food fabulous-breakfast & dinner. Joels restaurant on corner v good & reasonable prices. shuttle bus to airport from bewlwys hotel - 5-10mins walk down n7 road.

Fair enough its a fair bit away from the centre, but getting away from it out the Nass road and also having a tram nearby made this hotel perfect. The place was clean, it had a petrol station right next door and also the desk staff were very pleasent. If you check google maps then the address came up beside the Castle in the centre but just to let you all know, thats not the right one as me ad my friend found out. Although for som reason the lights didnt work in our bathroom that only added to the fun we had. A great hotel and also at great prices...well worth the stay.

Generally acceptable accommodation, but bad fault in design and location of Tea tray leading to a bad cut from hitting head on right angled corner of cupboard above.

for a price of 40 sumthing pound a night this was so unreal. the likes of room service wer on hand although for the breqk i wanted i only used the, for wake up cqll which was on time... i wil certainly use hotel Direct again: thanks alot:

The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. Who the hell do they think they are? And where do they get off? Huh? Friendly service AND clean?? You should by now realise that I`m speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say! Even the scary artwork in the lobby didn`t detract from such an elegant, modern and friendly hotel. The staff were delightful! All of them! The shower too! I would definitely use this as my port of call for when I next return to Dublin! LF hotel - Don`t change a thing!

Staff in the restaurant were both efficient and friendly but the food and the drinks were very expensive and the food was only o.k but not great. Staff on reception were efficient but not very welcoming or friendly. Thank goodness for Joels restaurant ( next door ) where the food was very tasty and reasonable- best plaice I ever tasted!

A new hotel and so good discounts on rooms at the moment. Good facilities in the room and within the hotel. A little difficult to find, map could be clearer. Need to enter the bus and Luas lane, access to hotel is via a restaurant!

I couldnt fault the hotel, it was clean, nice size room, free parking, I would definitely stay again. Excellent value for 49 euro.

i found the hotel to be very friendy and clean also i would stay there again next time i am in dublin
